[Q] plz help

plz guys help me im having a problem
i got my htc sensatiion xl its used
so i tried to update it cz my android version is 2.3.5 but there is no "check for update" icon
and when i was scrolling in the settings i saw"RCMix3d tweaks"
and in the apps there's"superuser"so as i read i downloaded root checker and it says that my phone is rooted
so the question is : is thats why i cant update my htc to android 4.0? and how to update my phone plzzzzz help

my problem is that the tablet comes with many preinstalled applications , occupying memory which is small...
I would like to do a clean installation of Andorid

what do you mean say memory? ram or rom?

Bro... root it and remove all unwanted apps...
I have micromax a90s and after root i removed 7 preinstalled apps using mobileuncle tool which is available on play store for mtk devices...
Don't know this app works on yours or not... but there are many apps and tricks to remove preinstalled and unwanted apps...
But remember you can't do anything without root access...

Hi friends i m using samsung galaxy ace s5830....and now i m installing

It work fine for me...but my device doesn't grant superuser permission and there is no superuser icon on menu list .... now i want to know two things
first is that my phone is rooted or not...and second is if not then pls help me and give advice how to root my phone...It is run on android 4.4.4 kitkat...pls help ...thank in advanced

Try to download superuser from the play store and otherwise reinstall your ROM. ( I had that rom to on my ace )

Download/Install "Root checker" or relative app to check whether your device is rooted or not, in case device is not rooted. Check this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2616820 and make sure instruction on this link are for your device too.
Or
Search the forum by adding root and android version with your device name/model.

I am Arup n I am using API level 17 on my Karbonn Alps A26. I have enabled "Show Touches" in the Developer options in Setting on my Karbonn Alps A26. How can I change the White dot which appears when I touch the screen??
Please help me out... n thanx in advance.

what do you mean? the white dots appearing is what is suppose to happen when you check the show touches options
if you want them gone just uncheck it

I do not want to remove it but i want to change that white dot to something else.
In short from where do i get custom touch indicator for my rooted karbonn alps a26

[Completed] Samsung Galaxy Core Prime "Unfortunately , Settings has stopped"

I think i may have deleted something important from the settings when i go to Settings>Security >Screen lock type BOOM "Unfortunately , Settings has stopped . I'm rooted and on stock please help any help appreciated
