I just use Nova Launcher with Moonshine icon pack and the Android L nav bar. Also, the minimal clock on UCCW. Although some of this requires root, root is really easy for the verizon LG g3. I also use a 2k wallpaper and g3 tweaksbox.

Have you "unrared" and installed those apks? It should be available after you've installed those apks and rebooted?:good:

How do I get themes on my settings? I'm on t-mo version of LG G3 and I don't see the theme selection.

T-Mobile might've blocked the theme selection but have you already tried finding/downloading themes from LG's SmartWorld?

Dang I really wish I could use these themes! Verizon must of removed that functionality. Not themes section under home screen.

Are You sure about that ? For me, on my int 855 this option looks like part of LG soft, even without root or extra launchers you should be able to switch between Home and Easy home. Then, if you install more, you have more to choose from . Kinda strange if you don't see this option. Settings--Home screen---Select Home.......right ?

Download adw launcher. Dont set as default launcher. add adw widget to lg launcher and choose theme picker. I posted a thread about it in the vzw specific g3 themes and apps section

launcher pro is the best launcher ever, it can be exactly like vanillia android but is 1000x more customizable and powerful and free
.... did I mention it is free?
I guess I did
Though it's free there's a paid version (launcher pro plus) with more features. The most useful feature in the paid version must be resizing widgets ;-)
Regards Dousan...
I am also looking for this, I have tried Launcher Pro/ADW and lots of Gingerbread themes etc but I am always left with SE icons and not stock.
Anyone know the best way to get stock icons? (rooted and bootloader unlocked)

ohhhh.... yea nothing is going to help you with that except custom roms or some serious surgury of the apk's in /system and you don't want to mess with that I promise you.
there are some apps to change the icon link on your home screen, but in the app drawer it will still show the old icon. Not sure anyone is going to help you with that less a custom rom be involved

Can you sort icons by name in folders yet (ICS)?
I'm using MIUI GB right now and you can do that. I don't understand why they took that feature out :|
Yes you can sort folders by app name now but is it just me or does this feel like a serious downgrade from the last version?

for me, i can sort icons by name in folders. but got a feeling, that i'm too stupid too arange the icons on drawer by name automatically???? is there an optiuon??

Yes when u open a folder you can click the edit icon in the top left and change the behavior to default to sort manually.
Also, I seem to have lost the ability to resize Widgets?
~Sent from my Droid [R]
i didnt ment the sort of icons in the app folders. i mean on the desktop. if theres an option to let the icons be sort automaticalla on the desktop.
Why doesn't this show up in the playstore for my honeycomb flyer? Just curious.
Unfortunately absolutely horrible compared to the previous version. Lags horribly and is basically the gingerbread launcher. I uninstalled it almost immediately.
Seems much better for me on my One X. The previous version was horrible, I like this one but its faaaar from stable compare to others on the market. They should of have 2 versions though, one optimized for GB and one for ICS, because the lag I feel and slow down might be because its optimized for both, I rather have a version optimize for ICS.
Any possibility of a landscape option?

Nope, in this launcher, it only change the icon theme but not the selection color and page indicator for example. If you use Miui GB then you know.

yeah I know what your saying like in the ICS version from what I've seen the only way to change the page indicators from the normal square is 2 actually edit the apk -resign it etc. etc.
with GB I think they actually have the feature where you can just change that within the app.

They actually didn't remove that stuff from ICS MIUI it's just that a lot if the themes haven't been updated to be compatible with MIUI4

However when using the Milocker that is included with Mihome launcher, the popup is blocked. The screen lights up, just doesn't display the popup box. Thanks for the help.

Lg themes, Lg fonts, Lg G2 photo widget, soft keys

Here is a link to some themes I used on the G2. I take no credit but be sure to thank AyDee in his thread.

I used some of these fonts on my G2 as well. I can't find the thread they're located at to thank the author, but here's a link to his dropbox. Install like a normal apk and change under settings/display/fonts. There is no preview for these so you'll have to try each one out
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/rdcmckvyfedatyb/rh1_HBbbhq
I noticed that LG left off the album widget on the G3 so here is the photo album widget I pulled from the G2 you can install it like a normal apk.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/pful5kuwdj67unx/LGPhotoAlbumWidget.apk
Also here are some soft keys that should also work on the G3. Install like a normal apk and change under settings/display/front touch buttons/color.

Themes - Inspired from CM and other Android Skins

Hello Guys !
I have started to make themes that are inspired from CM13 themes and from other OS skins.
this is my first take at themes so there might be few misses ! wish me luck and i hope you people enjoy my themes.
Themes will be posted for Marshmallow for QHD and Full HD display. (M - Full HD) (M2 - QHD)
I will add more themes in the future.
All the themes includes custom UI Sounds
- Dialer tones
- Touch sounds
- Keyboard sounds (Both typing and deleting)
- Ringtone
- Notification tone.
Please note that this all are trial themes, to use this themes you either have to be running the xposed module 'galaxy xmod' or you can use the package disabler from play store to disable theme store after applying my themes or If you are rooted then go to data/overlay/jsonfiles/trialjson then move the file to userjson then go back to overlays and delete preferences folder
Reboot and done.
it may or may not be fully compatible with nougat, so please pardon.
P.S. all of these themes are for free.
EXO UI - This theme has everything custom made !
Dialer
answer and reject buttons
add buttons
delete button on lockscreen
back button on action bar
beautiful icons
and
Never seen Toggles before !!!!
Update - New "belo" theme inspired from substratum's Belo, i hope you people like it. More such themes to come.
For all those Dark Inky black lovers this theme is dedicated for our Sammy's super AMOLED displays !!
this theme includes custom made On-Off Switches exclusively made by me ! Enjoy !!
Please let me know about my work !
Pixel theme -
I present all of you
Nougat Pixel for our sammy
Design taken straight from google pixel devices
if you have lockscreen animation turned on
then get ready to be amazed when you turn on the screen after applying this theme !
Love Material design ? don't worry i got you covered in this theme
theme made by totally following Google's Material design
Get ready to fall in love xD
HTC Nougat - theme inspired from HTC's nougat for HTC 10
theme includes -
Custom lockscreen date font
Custom UI sounds
Custom Weather icons
Custom Lockscreen pin delete key
and a lot of things that you can enjoy
As i'm not on Grace UX Or Touchwiz i won't be able to post perfect screenshots like other themes
but if anyone of you are interested to be a volunteer to send me screenshots, i will be thankful.
Looking nice.
Keep it up
Are you using themes editor for making themes?
Or do it manually with each apk.
I am also interested to make something because I am a graphics designer and not much familiar with this kind of stuff.
Hope you guide me.
thanks I'm doing this with theme designer.
Thanks for this. Only reason I miss my Nexus lol theme engine was the sh!t!

the reason why it is trial is because i'm doing in unofficially

Remove icon background?

Is there any (simple) way to remove the nasty backgrounds on icons forced upon us with the release of Android 8?
One that does not involve editing the apk files, using a custom launcher, or Galaxy Themes.
I remember using Xposed modules on my S Advance and S5 Mini that changed icons visually, is this still a thing with Magisk?
