[Q] Windows 7 Network Share For Moto G? - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, I have an 8GB Moto G Google Play Edition running Official PAC 4.4.4 Nightly and I have ran out of space for all of my music. I am currently waiting on my OTG-Y cable to ship, and started searching for a way to mount a Windows 7 share so I can access all of my music via PowerAMP, and I wanted to know if this device supports CIFS or if there is a way to mount the share that can be accessed via PowerAMP.

[Q] Moto G and Xbox 360 Media

Anyone have ideas for the best, cleanest way of displaying pictures and videos stored on Moto G on an Xbox 360 connected to a TV.
I've heard reports of this feature being integrated to some android phones via a button in the gallery. This doesn't seem to be showing up on the Moto G. Would be great. Suggestions?
Also, what apps integrate well between android and Xbox? Similar to how well the youtube app works between both platforms.
Be great to hear peoples' ideas.

Hisense H7 TV on VIDAA

Anyone got the Hisense H7 55" TV running VIDAA. It's a jelly bean based android OS TV. http://www.hisense-usa.com/tvs/H7/55/51
I already installed Kodi (XBMC) on it and got it going with my NAS setup...
just wondering if there are any thing else I can do to this TV.
Thanks
I got Kodi/Xbmc installed, I'm using BeyondXbmc the forked version for Android sticks installed and I'm getting stuttering issues on playback for 1channel. Is there a fix for this? I'm thinking about installing SPMC from the Play Store and trying it out instead. Also does the Hisense H7 play off an external HDD through usb? I'm curious because I have one lying around and would like to know if I can play through the usb port plug and play.

Stream music on my phone from my computer hard-drive through 4G...impossible ?

Hello, so I'm looking for a way to play/stream music from my computer hard drive to my Android phone (Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 plus) when I'm away from home, with 4G connection...
I'm using a music player app which can play music from my phone internal storage as well as my PC (windows 7) shared folders but only on LAN with WIFI, but is there a way to do so on long distance ?
Desktop sharing/Remote control (like teamviewer...) seems to do so, but I tried some and it was suffering from many audio lag/stutter, maybe data transfer problems, probably because it was dealing with video transfer at the same time (which is something I don't care at all, I just want to access my huge mp3 collection on my hard drive)
Thanks for any suggestions !
Let's hope there is a way :cyclops:

Old device as a chromecast

Hi. I have Nexus Q, Nexus 10 and some more phones that i can in theory use as a chromecast. But i can't find any app, that working as chromecast receiver. On Q and 10 i have cm10 (or can install 11) and when i install cheapcast, my Galaxy Fold 3 and latest chrome on pc can't find it. All i want, is broadcast youtube/just music/video and sound from mobile to some cm10 device.
How can i convert old phone into chromecast?
