It has been a while since Oneplus discontinued support for tapatalk. I really missed tapatalk so i created this one small app for my personal use.
Thought i should share it with people who are following oneplus here. And it also made sense to share it here as XDA is sort of officially supporting Oneplus. I have never seen any phone's review here on XDA except oneplus one.
I am not a developer and this app is made using appyet. So there will be ads, but i am sure lot of people here use adblocking apps, therefore it shouldn't make any difference.
Thus is not a full fledged app as i am not capable of making that. This is just a way to go through forums quikly , check your notifications, reply to few notification as you can't open multiple tabs in it,and stay updated with oneplus facebook page feed
Features
feeds from all facebook, twitter and google+ page
Mobile forums
background syc for Rss feeds
Recent Threads Rss feeds
Oneplus Forums Categories Shortcut (not all)
Oneplus Regional Forums Shortcuts (not all)
light and dark theme. Will try to add xda and oneplus theme as well in future.

Changelogs
v1.5
a. Regional Forums Shortcuts added for Dansk, Deutsch, Espanol, Francais, Italino, Nederlands, Portugues, Sevenska, India, Russia
b. Google plus Rss feeds added
c. Feedback form added
d. Contact email added
e. Splash screen added( can be disabled from settings)
v1.5 is almost complete app with social feeds from all social networks and rss feeds of RECENT THREADS of forums. v2 will take some time as all i have to add to v2 now is remaining shortcuts for forums categories and regional sections and other future versions will be just cosmetic stuff. So i will be going slow now and taking my time. Until and unless i recieve certain request for adding or removal of certain feature.
v1.2
-v1.1 was personal experimental build. that's y didn't shared it
- Added twitter Rss feeds ( Took time to find some trick for this as the platform which i am using to build the app had no support for twitter feeds and twitter also has ended support for rss feeds)
-added google alerts rss feeds for "oneplus" and "oneplus invites". So that you can access all the google results for these two keywords from within the app. So now you can have feeds from all over the web. IF YOU HAVE SOME BETTER KEYWORD IN MIND THEN DO SUGGEST.
-Removed one unnecessary option from left menu
v1
-Default theme is dark (as i like the dark theme. you can change that.)
-Default sync interval is 1hr (you can change that in settings)
-Facebook page feed
-Mobile website of forums ( landing page)
Default landing page is recent threads if you want me to change it to announcements or include shortcuts to various regional pages then let me know.
- Rss feeds from forums
- dark and light theme. Dark theme will help save battery on amoled screens.
-sync options to conserve battery
TO DO
TO DO LIST
V2
-Adding more forum categories or Regional Forums shortcuts
-IF you want include all the youtube videos search result containing "oneplus"
- Any other custom google news alert or news source that is requested
-BASICALLY V2 AIM IS TO HAVE ALL THE CONTENT THAT IS NEEDED OR REQUESTED.
V3
This one is just cosmetic changes like adding some icons to the menu or re-grouping or arranging the left menu. Just the look will change in this version and that too very small differences. V2 is all that you will ever need.
V4
Experiment by removing various permissions like torch . If i am able to do that without breaking any functionality.
Auto start permission is needed so that app can sync rss feeds. you can disable it from settings. But if majority of users request it to be removed i will try to remove it as well (no promise as it might break some functionality)
If i am able to remove auto-start permissions then i will make two versions of the app one for the users who don't use auto-start and one who wants it.
V5
This version will be complete with all the sources, cosmetic changes, etc. Only thing i wll be doing is that i will make few different versions with some of the features excluded from v4 and name it as V5a, V5b etc so that people who uses just certain features of the app can download the appropriate version.
NOTE: if there is some other source or content related stuff to be added or suggested by user at any time. that will be included in the next version that i build after that suggestion.
OnePlus Two will be released?

Hi xda!
I developed a new application and this is the free version!
This app makes your incoming sms, the rss example or tweets(from your timeline/mentions/DM) scroll on top of the screen in whichever application you are! Perfect for reading long sms without stopping playing your favorite game or watching a movie. You can directly respond to SMS and tweets, preview RSS article or open it in a browser. (and mark sms as read in paid version)
The settings screen shows you also the features of the paid version if you ever decide to upgrade (not all the settings changes will take effect on the free version )
There might be bugs so don't hesitate to report them to me, I'll do my best to correct them
If you want to help me translate the app in your language, I'll be very happy to provide you the necessary file in order to do it! For the moment, it is available in English, French and Swedish.
And here is the link! Scrolling Notifications Free
If you can't download on the market for one reason or another, here is a direct link but please prefer the market version, it's easier for statistics, plus there are explanations on the Play Store page

Yes of course! I will update the OP now.
I added a RSS example if you select this mode. You will see titles of latest xda articles update and display once every 10minutes.
Great app, works well on my Galaxy Note. I'm eager to purchase the full app but i think it would be nice if the developer added support for Whatsapp.

Thanks for the feedback!
For the support of third-party apps it seems difficult to fully implement but using the accessibility service could help find a partial solution (you will in the scrolling bar what usually goes in the notification panel, the problem is if you have more than 1 unread messages it usually display something like "Mercury Messenger: 2 unread messages" without the content of these messages) but I'll sure look into it for some future versions!
By the way new version!
With 1.2.0 you can enable Sound/Vibration notification which mimics the states of your phone (Silent/Vibrate/Normal) so if you decide to disable the classic Android notification, you'll still have the sound/vibration/nothing(xD) for SMS! That was lacking!
Nice app, good idea, work well without problem. I used Notifier Pro but it's a big battery eater, it seems your app isn't.
I don't like the icon,as you can see in the screenshot the size of the text is not good, maybe due to my launcher i don't know...
I think interface could be improved too but it's a good beginning. I think i'll buy the pro version to support a french developper ;-)

Merci!
Yeah the icon sucked, I'm not a graphist, I wanted to render a scrolling effect by cropping the text on borders but it was a bad move . I changed the icon for the new version I just released (that's why I respond so late sorry!) I hope it's better but I'm open to any propositions/suggestions for modification!
Of course with the new version, there are new features!
Now in the free version you can touch the scrolling bar like in the paid version so you can directly respond to a sms or previsualize a RSS article or open it in a browser! ( You still cannot choose your RSS source in free version, and mark SMS as read is also only availaible in paid version. )
Hope you like it!
Quick update to say there is new video and screenshot in the OP to highlight the update!
This looks very cool!

Thanks!
Next update will certainly have Twitter and modes won't be exclusive anymore amongst other things.
Google Reader Support
Quick Question - Can I point this to my Google Reader account?
Yes of course!
Realy Great app
Direct link doesn't seem to be working, keep getting 404, tried Android and dolphin browsers.
The link broke when I uploaded the last version, sorry for that.
It's repaired now!
Great work!
Great app! I've been looking for something like this. Smart statusbar wasn't doing it for me, but this is perfect. Bought the paid version.
I've been looking around for non obtrusive notifications. This one is pretty awesome! Good work OP
Thanks guys for your support!
Next version progresses greatly: Twitter added and now you can have multiple bars for specific services or still only one bar with all notifications like before. And more features
Edit: I almost forgot that for the next version I finished a graphic update because Gingerbread version is not the same than ICS for Settings screen (ugly green buttons).
Hi!
Just bought the app! Very nice idea!
But I have some feature requests if it's ok?
When I receive an sms and answer to it in the app, I want my original message app to recognise that I have read and answered the sms. As it is now, when I answer via the app, my answer doesn't come up in the original conversation with that person. The message is also still showed as not read after I have answered the sms. Is it possible to fix? Tnx again for a nice project!

Hey guys!
For the last few weeks I have been working on a new app, called Fenix, yet another Twitter client (yes, I know, bad timing...).
The app is not ready yet, but I wanted to share with you an initial preview and get some feedback.
The core features are already implemented, but a lot of work is still needed and a ton of other features will be added.
Here's a summary of what you get right now:
Clickable links in timeline (I've not found another app that does this yet, apart from the official client)
Inline preview of images and youtube videos
Two styles of inline media preview - small and big
The usual dark and light themes
Dedicated tablet layout
Quick access to lists and saved searches from the app left drawer
Optional internal web browser
Multiple accounts support
As I said, the app is not ready, but I'd like to hear your feedback and requests.
You can join this Google+ community to get the latest test version of the app.
Follow this thread or the @fenix_app twitter account for updates.
Enjoy!

I've no idea why you don't have any replies yet but this is a fantastic app I'm going to test it for a bit and will provide better feedback later. First impressions though is that's is a very very good

Trying this out. It looks pretty nice so far, and performance seems good.
An observation: In the dark theme, there's not quite enough contrast between the text and the background. Perhaps make the background a little darker, or the text a little whiter? It may already be completely white, hard to tell.
Great start. Hope to see some more options added soon.

Only thing I've noticed so far is the inability to zoom in the internal browser. This causes a few issues when viewing some pages. I've attached an example.
Still really fantastic work

Best Twitter client I've tried for a while, loving the look and feels.
Using this as my client for now, will give you more feedback later.
Great!
A button to go to the top of timeline(mine, others', etc...) should be there...
This is the picture what I said.
sounds good :good:

I have been using it all day and have loved it, no one would know that it is a preview release. It's polished, smooth and a joy to glide through the fresh looking timeline. I currently use Falcon & Plume, but this has already become my favourite client. A few things missing to prevent me dumping the other clients, but I'm sure that they will be added as development goes on. Subscribed to thread and looking forward to updates and further development. Good Job!
App looks nice, but is it possible to make for gingerbread?
wow, I´m impressed really great looking app.
My wishes from what I see atm
1. black theme
2. twitlonger support
3. customizable colors for links/usernames
4. options to switch the press/long press behaviour on a tweet
5. once you long press a tweet to expand and see controls, there is no way to collapse it agaim, please add that
6. option for retweet to do it normal or with my reply added to it
7. possibilty to swipe to left and right to switch between items like timeline and mentions
the preview looks very promising, with my wishes above it could really get my default one and I would definitely be happy to review ot
Looks great, way better than other clients. High five man

Thanks, if you have any suggestions please tell me so that I can improve the app in the next updates.
nice
great idea, but here is what I think
- UI should be shrinked (text size of some items in the fragment adapter)
- The ad banner is exactly over the input text field in my device :crying:
- you should also add some specific sections, like music and photo
Short feedback/requests from my side:
1. The quick search works flawlessly. Good job :good:
2. Dividing the search results into three categories is nice, but maybe another categorie ("All") would be useful.
3. A search widget (similar to the Google search bar) would be awesome, so one can easily search for files right from the homescreen without entering the app. Entering the app is quite circumstantial for a quick search. The launcher "EverythingMe" has implemented this in an awesome way (popup with search results, with which you can interact with, for example open the app/contact/file). Would something like this be possible?

Thanks, the 'ALL' section seems nice and maybe if the app gains more users I start a poll for it.
Also about the search widget, I don't think anybody (at least at this moment) is going to replace the 'Google Search' widget with 'Fast Search' widget and I think a constant notification in the notification bar may be more useful. Anyway I try to add them both in the next updates.
Also I haven't tried the 'Everything.Me' but could predict what you mean from popup window. And yes it's possible and I'll try to add it.
Thank you for your notes guys.

I would immediately replace the Google search widget with yours
For the popup in EverythingMe: When you start typing something in the search bar, related apps, contacts and more are shown below as can be seen in the attached picture below. But for EverythingMe, the launcher simply hides the current page with its objects and shows the search results instead. This seems quite cool for a launcher, but for a widget it would be nice if there is some kind of popup right below the search widget which shows the search results (maybe some kind of white material card background, for example).

Crashes all the time
Never showed any results. Note3 Jb 4.3
Thank you all for your comments.
The new version (1.1) has been published now with some changes (You can view them in the second post of this topic).
I think those crashes reported and some non-reported ones are fixed now.
Also added persistent notification that was clearly needed for this type of app.
So in the next version probably I will add the search widget and some other improvements that (maybe) would get suggested

The app is now updated to version 1.2.1 with the support of a 'Google Search' like widget.
You can download it from the attachments of first post in this thread.
The full change list is on the second post of the first page in this thread.
Also I removed the older versions because i saw some people still downloaded previous versions while the newer versions were there!

I'm living in IRAN and Google has currently banned my country in the developer section. So I can't publish the application on the Google Play Store. Sorry that I can't help you
Still keen to your ideas (and waiting for them) to make the app better that what it's now!
Exactly what I need!

very bad my friend... but I know it's not your fault
Suggestion !!!!
Idea is great and is similar to SAMSUNG S-FINDER, if you can implement such in your app....than it can be very very handy.....s-finder connects all apps having search options....it lets you search everything on your phone
This is a nice app and the main thing is that this is open source. I have tested this app and it shows quick results. It is very useful especially for newbies who face problems in searching for the files.
Nice feature.
Magnesium Launcher is a different kind of launcher that lets you search for almost anything on your device. The launcher features just two screens, a universal feed and an app drawer. Indexed items include a combination of items on your device, email messages, and posts from RSS feeds and social media accounts.

Remind me of "Flow Home" but with (expensive ?) in app-purchase
Anyway, add a refresh button to synchronize our feed would be nice.
Also Feedly support, that would be amazing !
Very Nice and smooth launcher, congrats

Thanks for the feedback. The features that can be purchased were split up so that the user only has to pay for what they want, so it's not exactly "expensive", so to speak.
I will be adding the pull down to refresh action, and a feed filter in the next release.
needs google calandar support so your events and reminders show on the feed.
and an option for 24 clock, but overall it looks great, will test for a while

This was actually supposed to be in the initial release, but I forgot to implement it. It will be available in the next update.

Planned for a future release. I initially debated against this, because it would have been redundant to have app notifications showing up in both the notifications area and the feed, but it looks like some users might want this option. It will be implemented as an opt-in setting.

Looking forward to the next few releases so
Add tasks like Business Calendar from Google Tasks and the option to have the feed as the default page and you'll have my vote. I tired of having to have a widget here, and here, and here. I just want simplicity.

Well I think we got the futur best launcher...
Hope that you'll keep updating and not giving up like flow Home
Congrats ! :good:
Nice!
I would use it if:
- it gets 24 hour support (i know it's coming)
- it gets iconpack support
- it gets the possibility to hide icons from the app drawer
Any update coming soon ?

Exactly my feeling.
Magnesium offers a breath of fresh air in the contextual launcher arena - quite lightweight & offers additional features as compared to other contextual launchers like KISS Launcher (or Flow, Aviate, Blur, etc ...) - I really miss Slidescreen
Areas for improvement:
- customizable default screen (drawer or feed)
- searches should be decoupled from screens & should work the same regardless of the screen they're operated in, for example, searches in the app drawer should also go through contacts etc.
- inability to deselect web searches in the free version makes the search feature useless, as web searches swamp the results & are often prioritized as compared to device results
- the search engine should be configurable due to privacy concerns (most common ones should be added: for example duckduckgo, startpage, bing, google, yandex)
- the free/paid model should be revised - as mentioned by @SuperNès90, I have a feeling you're too bent on monetizing the app/features.
Still, keep up the good job! I'm curious how this launcher will mature.

I make your words mine....
specially the free/paid model should be revised. I think it tends to scare free users to even try your work.
Any news on this launcher ?
Hi all!
I am really happy to share my Twitter client with all of you who use a Huawei device!
It’s called
Tweetdroid
...and it is using only Android/Huawei services and therefore is available for all Huawei devices on AppGallery!
Here is a link to App Gallery (cost: €0.99): MOD EDIT: Link removed
I have been hard at work for the last 2-3 months in building on top and fixing the Talon Twitter app.
I have optimised the usage of the Twitter API (e.g.: improved the ease of use by loading all comments, tweet author replies and other tweets from a thread), fixed many bugs with the UI and optimised the whole experience of rotating/going multiscreen/floating window by implementing the needed modern Android APIs for handling insets.
I have also updated the UI and made it more modern with automatic full dark/black mode support and even added notch support for landscape mode.
There some other goodies like bundled YouTube player without Google Services and Twitter notifications with instructions included for them to work without problems on Huawei devices.
Of course, the typical customisation functions are also available and you can learn more about the whole app functionality from the AppGallery description (added below):
Spoiler: Show full description
Powerful, fast and customisable client for Twitter!
Tweetdroid removes all unnecessary ads and promotions from the default Twitter experience and gives you a chronological timeline (unlike the standard experience).
Tweetdroid also lets you focus on the content that matters to you with an automatic article parser, advanced filters and many more.
Tweetdroid is beautiful - designed with modern material design in mind and adapted for Huawei devices.
Tweetdroid also offers special support for Notched devices in Landscape mode so that you lose as little screen estate as possible and enjoy your content even more!
Tweetdroid is also very:
Customisable
• Modern Material design with a lot of colour customisation options optimised for Huawei and compatible with Twitter
• Swipe-able pages for better experience on the main screen which can easily be removed or replaced with only the options and functions which matter to you
• Dark and Do Not Disturb Mode even for older devices
• Many Timeline Tweet styles including Traditional Twitter-like, Modern Thread-like, Compact and more
Powerful
• Follow threads and view discussion or tweet replies
• Favourite users - see only their tweets or get notified whenever they post a new tweet
• Advanced mute options for users, retweets, hashtags, Twitter clients and expressions
• Read articles without the default ads and intrusions
• Support for 2 Twitter accounts
• Easily see who has quoted or retweeted any tweet
Media Ready
• Play Twitter videos and GIFs without leaving your timeline
• Search for the perfect GIF from Giphy to reply, quote or post on Twitter
• Crop, rotate and zoom to get the ideal photo before you post it
• Native YouTube, Twitter GIF and Twitter video playback even without Google Services
• Amazing support for downloading of Twitter Videos, Gifs and Images right on your Timeline - an Advanced Twitter Downloader bundled right in
Quick and Integrated
• Tweet filtering for user profiles so you can choose what type of tweets you want to see from them
• Widgets to view the Home timeline, mentions and unread counts
Special thanks to Can Eğridere for providing the `Nonorganic Sparrow` artwork used in the icon of Tweetdroid!

As a P.S for developers: I have rewritten large portions of the original app for AndroidX and insets and migrated all background processes (for example notifications or sync) to WorkManager because they used Firebase JobDispatcher, which is not available on Huawei and not recommended for newer Androids.
As P.S for all: You might see a lot of mentions of the word Twitter, many videos, translations and a little bit obnoxious title in the App Gallery page of my app. These were my desperate attempts for more impressions as Huawei decided to rework their search functionality a few days after the release of my app and hid many apps (mostly scammy Twitter downloaders but also mine app) from AppGallery when searching ‘Twitter’ and instead pushed irrelevant apps.
I still get a few hundred impression and have a few happy customers but I poured my heart in this app and honestly this post is the last hope for it.
So, if you can check it out it would be amazing and if you find a bug, need a feature tell me and I will do my best to implement it as quick as possible!
MOD ACTION:
Link removed and thread closed temporarily till a link to a free version of the app is available.
