hi, i m nazi, new to this forum. pardon me as i dont know whether i was supposed ask my question in this forum this way/here. my twintab's model is T7283GD1(android ver 4.1.2) and its not rooted. it has an OTG cable as accessory but only supports pendrives with FAT32. how can i use (read & write) ntfs pendrive on twintab? with apps (free/paid)/without apps? being rooted/unrooted? though an unrooted method would be preferable. but i m willing to root (dont know how to) if its mandatory for the solution.
thank you

Hi everyone! Firts I want to thank you the good job you make and apologize for my bad english.
Yesterday I've bought a tablet BQ Galileo that it looks like BQ Kepler and I would know if it's possible to have temp root at leats or perm root were fantastic . It seems that z4root and SuperOneClick doesn't work.
I don't know that anyone has this tablet in this forum. Thank you very much and if I posted in a wrong section, sorry, please move this thread.
Hi forum,
First post , yeah !
i too have a bq kepler . Nice tablet!
After investigating a lot , i discovered that we cant root directly the tablet, because even if the exploits work , the /system filesystem is cramfs ...which is basically a zipped file. So ,read only .
And thats what we got if we check with checkroot or other root checking apps.
So , i guess that until someone cooks a rom directly for the kepler...we're ****ed.
So please devs, can we have a cooked rom for the kepler ? If you need something , i can assist you with my tablet for testing
Something like that I've read in a forum from my country, Spain.
I can't post the link still, sorry, but probably someone knows htcmania, in this community we follow xda to find new roms.
I know that the manufacturer is spanish but ¿is this tablet sold outside?
A user contacted to BQ and they said it's necessary to root the firmware directly. So that confirm what you said: We're ****ed
I'm spanish too
That's why i told that , if someone volunteers to cook a rom for the bq kepler , my tablet is available for testing
For BQ Kepler there's a valid method to obtain root with the upgrade that BQ have published. Perhaps when BQ public the upgrade for Galileo I can do the same.
ROOT
Hi Guys and also friends from Spain (like me)
There's a smart guy who found the way to do it.
I bought this tablet yesterday and tried to install nitrality to change resolution and several oftenly used apps and.. TACHAN, FC due to permissions..The way he made the root was unpacking the 2.3.1 version ROM and add root to cramfs file system that was compressed before, then pack it back at .img file.. smart!
Go to his blog, i made it and now it's root and also updated. Just backup all your apps and data and copy his .img file to BQ external storage, after disconnecting USB will ask you about installing a new firmware version found (TIP: Rename his file to update.img ,do it using PC before copying it, as BQ usually deliver at updating), click on Install and will restart from Zero but root installed (you'll see the application root at apps menu) It's very important to stay at least 80% battery level to not brick it.. DO IT
http://rk2918kepler.blogspot.com/2011/11/kepler-update-pack-1-root.html
100% working, look at his last post, some screenshots are available.
Other issue.. Are u using Skype¿? i was unable to make it work, video is not working at videocalling, only voice and callback .. Step by Step!! I will appreciate if somebody knew about this.
Thanks and ENJOYYYYY ROOT!
Periferals
Since this is one of the only topics about BQ Kepler i ask here how to connect periferals like usb mouse ou keyboard to Kepler.
I´ve the adapter but it doesn´t seem to work. Any ideas please??
Thankx
Keyboard and Mouse
I have tried both and they work using a OTG adapter.
What i was not able to get to work was a Bluetooth dongle which would be greatly useful
Goodmorning,
I`m trying to connect to gtab7+ an usb stick (ntfs) but it doesn't work !
It's normal?
**excuse me for my bad english
Thanks

?
I don`t understand!
When using a MicroSD Card, it has to be formatted as FAT32.
I would imagine that a USB stick would have to be as well.

So what's the question?
If you need/want OTG, then roo tyour device.
In case you want to root your device and you wanted to ask how, then you need to specify your device name, exact model/type and the firmware you are running now.
Then you can search xda for your device name (e.g. at the top of xda page in browser where "Type to find device..." is written) and a rooting guide.
Good luck !
Thread closed. Thank you!

May be reasons for that is Your phone's chipset doesn't support OTG
