Discussion of Warez and or directions or guides on how to cheat developers out of being paid is not allowed here at XDA

What is wrong with you? Why do you want to steal the hard work of a developer? Why would you research this type of sh*t, use it, and post it? I hope you get banned from XDA and every other respectable android forum. Go crawl back in your hole!

[Q] Cydia or Hackulous for Android?

I saw an add in my local Clist the other day where a guy was offering access to free and most paid apps for download. He obviously wanted to charge a fee for this and didn't give a lot of details. He did say he'd add an app and then add "his servers", which update weekly. Sounds to me like another guy making a buck off of off something meant to be free and developed by the hacking community. I did a google search but only turned up old stuff from at least a year back. All of which had been patched. Anyone know what key words I'm missing or what he's using, it could be cool?
**Mod Edit - Warez requests are against the rules you signed up to when you joined the site. Please read and understand them BEFORE posting in future**
That would be completely against the forum rules.
Developers have to eat. This is piracy and not only against the rules @ XDA, but against the law.
Uncool.

Xda is here to help and support developers, how publishing a guide on how to steal the developers hard work supporting developers?
It is against XDA rules read them and you would have gotten your answer
ok got it man
btw i'm a developer myself and i hack others work for leisure time
btw2 hacking helps developers finding weak points in their apps
btw3 hacking is not about stealing others work, otherwise it could've been easier for me to post cracked apps on warez sites and get credit for it..

Sure but why not work with the developers, talk about there weak points and not let a large user base steal there work....
because one developer once put a text file inside his published apk saying "hello hackers"
he will regret this forever
no seriuously hacking uses known (or new) exploits for any given platform, so pointing it out will help bring that platform better (except for windows because microsoft )
One way or another its against XDA rules
"6. Do not post warez.
If a piece of software requires you to pay to use it, then pay for it. We do not accept warez nor do we permit any member to promote or describe ways in which Warez, cracks, serial codes or other means of avoiding payment, can be obtained. This is a site of developers, i.e. the sort of people who create such software. When you cheat a software developer, you cheat us as a community"

I suppose that we should be grateful you asked beforehand, however had you read the forum rules or even used a little common sense you could have answered your own question.
Warez is not tolerated here at XDA developer and neither is discussion of it.
Closed.

Cracked Google Play

Is it possible to get cracked or modded Play store or just crack or mod to it so i can download paid apps for free?
Pirating apps and the discussion of it is against XDA rules.
Discussion of warez is against the rules on xda. We are a dev site and therefore we support our developers. Id suggest u not attempt this again and instead pay the few bucks for your favorite apps

Discussion of piracy and warez is forbidden here on XDA.
Even though this thread started off just saying that some piracy websites have been taken down, the latest comment is condoning the use of a warez site.
If you wish to discuss such matters or condone it, please use a different site to XDA. This site is and always has been about the developers.
If you rip off a developers apps, they are not making money from it. And if they are not making money from it, it could quite easily stop them from developing great work, hence we all lose out.
Please think about these things before condoning such acts.

Use of pirated or paid apps

Hi Everyone
Good Evening
i am the new member of xda. i had heard lot about using pirated/cracked app in android. In many sites the paid apps are available for free. certain sites restricts use of such app while certain encourages.
i want to know whether it is safe to download such apps in mobile. if YES please suggest the best & safest site for such paid app.
is there any harm to my phone privacy using such paid app for free
thank you
XDA is a forum and community of developers, and here we don't discuss pirated/warez apps that cheat and steal from developers.
Is it safe? Of course it's not safe. Pretty much everybody here has rooted their devices, or is looking to. And you're asking about pirated apps? Might as well ask if it's safe to have sex with a back-alley prostitute without a condom. C'mon, man. Most paid apps only cost a few bucks at most, and if you're trying to get more gold or gems or doughnuts or whatever, rethink your priorities in life.
You need to read the site rules very carefully, http://forum.xda-developers.com/announcement.php?f=256
Warez are not at all allowed to be discussed here.
