[Abandoned] [ROM] [5.0] Plasma ROM

Welcome to Plasma ROM!
Note: It is HIGHLY recommended to, after installing this ROM (or any ROM) to use a Battery Calibration app! This almost doubled my battery life, and will likely do the same for you!

Install instructions:
Prerequisites:
Must have SafeStrap installed
Must have a windows computer on hand with Odin
Must have an external SD card (SafeStrap also requires this)
Must have about 20-30 minutes
1) Download the ROM.
2) Boot into SafeStrap, click "Wipe," click "Advanced Wipe," then select all the boxes except for your external SD card!!!!
3) Click "Install" and select the ROM. Install it.
4) Once the ROM is installed, reboot into Download mode.
5) Use Odin to flash the OC4 firmware only tar (link in the Downloads section)
6) Reboot and enjoy!
Please note that the first boot will take anywhere from 5-20 minutes, so be patient!

I am working on porting the S6 apps, however, I work on this at school and don't have time to test it. Do you want to help test 'em?

On a side note (pun not intended): I wonder how difficult it would be to port a Note 4 ROM over to this device...? They have almost identical specs...

I downloaded everything and cross checked the md5's but in Odin it keeps saying "md5 error- Binary is invalid"...little help please

Maybe I uploaded it wrong...? Try this one and tell me how it goes. If it works, I'll put it in the thread.

Downloaded and flashed. I had to use the 2nd file you posted for Odin.
So far it seems pretty smooth, I like the keyboard, the whole rom has a fresh feel to it.
The one thing that doesn't seem to work is the download booster.
I'm really looking forward to check out battery life

Is there a jkruse Zip to flash for Dark Dialer and Contacts that is compatible with Plasma?

people still having weird bluetooth issues with this rom? It might just be all lollipop roms but im hopeful.

Needs a little work
The rom seems to lag here and there but majority of the time it runs smooth, as for the battery life... i mean no offense but its far from amazing . it seems like something system wise is taking a good chunk out of the battery. i checked all the user apps and stopped/uninstalled some them,however no improvement. On a good note the dark mode was a very smart move (thats what pretty much sold me flashing this rom) and the organization of the settings is nice also. i think everything in this roms is pretty awesome except for battery and lag.

Just one question: How to add data traffic monitor ??

any chance we can get a mirror thats not mega? I can't get it to download at all, click on the link and it never opens up the mega app, always just asks me if I have it loaded, which I do.

I actually downloaded version one of mega and used the htc browser and the ROM downloaded fine. weird how it wouldn't work with chrome and version 2 of mega.

There's almost no pre-install apps in this ROM,you can try it yourself.
Fantastic Bar means your status bar will auto adjust color,but not working very well.

Ok so I tried this. I'm very impressed. I really like it.
Just tell me there are new builds coming... and can be installed by dirty flash or even better, auto uptades (OTA).

Yep agreed...the rom is too gud..but r u having this issue like notification of apps like whatsapp fb insta or tg doesnt appear as long as we open the app..like it kinda gets greenified...so we dont recieve mssgs unless we open the app...If yes then hope it gets sorted out soon [emoji111]

Use Firefox. You will be able to play videos even when screen is off. Like listening to YouTube music without paying for YouTube Red?

It's my first success porting work,so I am not good at version update and OTA update.
FIUI has suspended ROM update for FIUI based on Android Lollipop currently.

After flash rom,you should boot your phone and make sure it is able to use,then reboot to recovery mode flash gapps.

[ROM] HydRom 3.1 Note 7 port for N910C

Hydrom 3.1 is out. I'm so glad.
The Rom is flying. Very stable. There are almost no problems. I am using for a week now.
The AOD and fingerprint do not work as well as in all Note7 port roms. So I removed AOD alltogether.
I did not try fingerprinting with 3 party software. Please comment when you try.
ROM has Turkish support. There is only one setting left in English.

N7 camera reverted back to stock by me. Camera Note 4 original. All modes are working.
Heavly debloat by me ( You can install Galaxy apps, any internet browser you like etc. from the sources like Googleplay.)
The video call is working.

These apps are not allowed within a ROM for distribution.
LuckyPatcher is an app hacker, WAREZ forbidden on XDA.
Pro versions are individual licenses not for multiple use.
I am finishing downloading all files.
I will create a single flashable zip with all files so there is one complete flash file. The above apps will be removed. I will provide the OP will a mirror download with the single file if desired.
I will flash and see if apps are included.

Now i flashed these files in sequence and rebooted, got the same issue. Phone vibrates quickly within a few seconds of starting the rom and reboots without warning.

Try clearing Cache / Dalvik after flashing the files in sequence.

Hello, yes and that's right and super rom remodeled use other rom over and used the best rom to get excellent work, and a customization perfetta in this aop ... I enjoyed the best of this 3 rom by @cofface, @hoangnguyen, @gadgetmania and get better performance at this new ROM remodel the battery last life was excellent ... and also remove some applications that came by default in this rom, and put the official google apps in this rom and now perfect.!

Same hoangnguyen rom problem, wifi picks up only 5mbs on miui picks up 30mbs which is the speed of my internet

I enjoyed the best of this 3 rom by @cofface, @hoangnguyen, @gadgetmania and get better performance at this new ROM remodel the battery last life was excellent ... and also remove some applications that came by default in this rom, and put the official google apps in this rom and now perfect.!

The battery life is very good, and yes it contains the root in this rom (exposed) and performance in games is very good too!
