Very nice and great to have you here on the s5 @bobcat. Only issue i have is the computer will no longer connect to phone. I reloaded my previous rom and it connected as normal, retried bobcat and not recognized again. Love the rom and hope for a solution, Thanks very much again.

Did you update the bootloader? Its an issue of having ng2 on an old bootloader, afaik. There are some new kernels that have adapted.

It's a widget resize issue on a 5 columns launcher. I will download and make you a fix maybe later on tonight.

Ok, so it's now fixed. As you can see on the image now all the widgets are a size of 5x*.

Problems with latest samsung firmwares
If you are on ME6 or MF2, do efs backup. Edit: DID SOME TRY AND DEFINITIVELY YOU NEED A EARLIER EFS BACKUP
If you flash another rom and have corrupted imei do a restore efs. EDIT: you can avoid downgrade to earlier firmwares to not lost IMEI

Istruction Xposed
First of all open Xposed installer from Clik on the panel and install, then go to the modules section and select the modules you are interested in, reboot and restart the modules for or will be active.

performed various tests regarding the problem of the modem of the new base ME6/MF2.
On my base MF2 tested restore the old base MC3, properly performed without any problems.
no imei corrupt, then restored with new rom nandroid done previously and found everything ok. no problem.

This Multiwindow manager I preferred it to the modification of Multiwindow enabled for all applications, personally can not stand to have all apps in multiwindow (to find applications it takes a lifetime as they are all affixed to them and also put them there have to waste time) instead with this app can easily choose the ones to be included, I find it more comfortable.

i have a big problem with your rom.
Just install a clean install rom and have problem with root .
try 2 recovery and 2 kernel and when the rom try to take root user,i've soft reboot...
which kernel you tested?

This is great! Loved BOB CAT on my S4 - can't wait to see it again on my NOTE 3 - TMOBILE is having a little trouble with N9005 ROMS - WIFI and BLUE Tooth don't work for some reason - (we have figured o ut a fix for WIFI) but still hoping for a fix on BLUE TOOTH -
In the meantime, I loved the ROM then - I am sure I will love it again!

Notes:
About Mods
This ROM will keep Stock look with useful mods and tweaks for speed & battery performance. We added mods like Advanced Power Menu, Battery % and Clear All Recent Button because these are the ones We need, we don't need more, so this is KitKat the way should be, for us, so don't ask to remove or something like this. If You want some other MODs please use some Xposed Module.
About ART runtime
Art is a WIP and still an experimental feature inside KK, so You won't notice any advantage (IMHO) in terms of performance and battery life. Xposed is not compatible with ART runtime, so If You enable it You won't be able to add advanced mods to the Rom.
Next Android release will have default & 100% working ART runtime and also Xposed will be compatible!

We added clear recents because some people (like me) don't use GB and may need only this + adv power menu..
we added clear all becasue this rom is the one that features the guide I'm going to publish about that mod... so can't remove
Strange thing is, I flashed the most recent rom and update, and I can't see a "clear recents" anywhere?

Yea, I flashed the latest rom then the incremental update, then the network speed /battery percentage - and I don't have "clear recents". Doesn't matter to me anyway.

You MUST be on 6.0.1 firmware to flash these Roms; If you're still running a 5.1.1 based you will probably encounter some issues! You won't have the firmware necessary.

Hi all. Renegade is back. Here is a pretty basic build based on the new PB6 firmware. Modding is a little light right now due to not having a fully functional Apktool for Android Marshmallow. Please do not ask to add any features, it's not possible to accomodate all user requests. I hope to update as we go. I will try to help with questions as much as I can. Sorry for noob questions, but my wife has this variant of the phone that has not had anything done to it minus updating to marshmallow through ota. Coming from other phones, we have to unlock bootloaders then install a custom recovery. Do I need to do that with this phone before installing?

Nah,never be afraid to ask a question. Same procedure pretty much.
Download rom to your internal storage.
Go into SecSettings and make sure OEM Unlock is "On".
Boot into odin and flash TWRP by @ram9200

Reboot phone and immediately go into TWRP Recovery.
Do a full wipe and install rom.
That should do it

I am following your instructions and I'm able to successfully install the ROM but i have no LTE signal and says " insert SIM card" . have you seen this error before ? you have any advise how can i fix this?
