Please post your CypherROM theme requests here.
Also tell me what you do AND don't like about how the theme looks.
I will read over the info found here and consider it when making future updates.
Of course the base framework and system stuff I kept in the Rom itself, so in order to get the main themed elements please flash CypherRom.

I am still trying to figure out how to get the theme chooser to accept some of the redirects for apks that have capital letters in the name, apparently its a bug...if anyone comes across a solution please let me know.
Thanks!

Do you have a list of themed apps/icons?
Sent from my Nice 'n' Stock-y Infuse 4G
Yeah I'll add one to the OP, and update it as I go. Thanks for the suggestion.
Hey ex,
How about dolphin and handcent?

Swype maybe? After the family outing of course.
Sent from my SGH-i997 using Tapatalk
Yeah for some reason dolphin didn't stick, have to look further into that one...hand cent added and swype definitely added. The regular keyboard looks pretty but damn I miss my swype...
Tapatalk please ... Ugly Widgets be gone.

Go SMS themed would be great, also the eternus venis theme from emancipation was a great theme

I would love to see a red theme for this if and when you get a chance. I was all about the communion theme on Emancipation. I would like to see something like that here with this ROM. Thanks for all your hard work guys!

He's already got the xda icon themed for cypher. At least it is on my end. I think he made a flashable zip that added a few more icons to it. Its a few pages back in the actual cypherrom forum

Did you see the update? I got most of those...the weather channel didn't stick for some reason though.
What I've been finding is that the theme chooser has a hard time with apks that have a capital letter in their name. For example that app is called com.weather.Weather.apk it throws an error about the capital W. Gotta look into it further to see how to get around that.
X,
You realize everytime you post in q&a it bumps your thread above my q&a ???
Only kidding - but for real - more beautiful work from you, your hard work really, really pays off in the finished product, congrats, man. Enjoy the outing with your beautiful family !! Regards.

Do we need to wipe anything before flashing the update?
Sent from my SGH-i997 using xda app-developers app
All flashed. Thanks. Looks great. I was thinking, you said weather channel wasn't accepting the theme because of the capital w right. If you are all using a custom launcher couldn't you release the icon for download and we save it in the gallery and use nova settings to select it. Its not perfect, but its a work around till you perfect your method.

If this rom had a stock JB theme (pretty vibrant blue and all) it'd be an absolute no-brainer for moi.

Not exactly a theme question, but when connecting the infuse to my computer the external SD card doesn't show up. Is there a solution to this?
My only comment it, damn, this looks great man.. I love the color..
Home run brother!
Jellybean CM 9 Theme by Team Syndicate on the Play Store skins this rom back to JB default. Most perfect JB rom I've used for this phone now, by a long shot.
Anybody know of any launchers out there that integrate Google Now? I'd like to customize, but I like saying OK, Google (as cheesy as that sounds)

Don't think it's gonna happen.
KK Launcher is the only launcher I have seen to incorporate Google Now in any way. It launches Google Now when you scroll all the way to the left, but that's it.

As long as you keep the stock setting of swiping up on the home key to access Google Now, you're really only talking about a second or two to access the "Ok Google" feature.
Additionally, if you'd like to have the mic aware and listening constantly, I'd suggest the XDA link below. This way, you can have that feature available regardless of which launcher you're running.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2404613
From what I read, it's only the stock launcher that can have the active listening.
Only reason I read about this was because I googled why it stopped once I installed Nova Launcher.
Here is the Google Now Launcher extracted from Android L Developer Preview. I have tried it on Galaxy S5, here are the screenshots and app.
Screenshots, find in Atachments.
Apps port:
Install GoogleHome
and Google Search (Velvet)
Enjoy
Thanks
Just one question -
Does it support folder inside the app drawer ?
Its almost the same like previous one.

It's android L. It just looks the same for now because we don't have the material UI...
Sent from my Moto X running 4.4.3 Rooted Stock using Tapatalk
When do we get material?
The only difference is the sound it makes when you activate voice search and the margin width and height between the home screen and the search bar (it's less). The only thing I was waiting for was the new app drawer icon- but I guess that's only with Material, so it's pretty much L exclusive at this point.

I had the same problem .... I first made sure my language was English (US) and then I did a few reboots... It finally worked... I had to say OK google in a weird accent (lol) .... Basically the hotword detection was so bad that I continued using my old launcher (The Z2 home port) as wanted google now launcher only for hotword detection(which did not work properly)
