[ROOT] Easy Method To RooT Note II Official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and Remove Knox

Sounds interessting, but one thing isn't clear at all.
If you flash a custom recovery, you already trigger Knox.
Disabling it afterwards isn't the same as never triggering it at all.

The link that you've provided for Philz recovery is not for Odin. It's for flashing using the CWM recovery(zip format). The link for correct tar file to flash using Odin is http://d-h.st/R4n

[Q] Flashing rom stock updates from clockwork recovery

Hi guys is it possible to install stock updates from Clockworkmod recovery without losing data (apps ecc)? I only needed to install a single patch but this invalidated OTA updates, I am not interested in other ROMs. If it's possible can you tell me where i can find the stock roms ready to be flashed with the custom recovery? Thank you!

Thank for your reply! The patch I needed is the one to boost the volume of the headphones http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2532788, If I remove this patch by installing the "Reset to stock volume" zip file , is it possible to proceed with the the scenario #2 of the guide you posted?

If someone wothout out root will test this kernel and see if it roots your device it would be appreciated! As for those that already have root this will certainly work for you.
Stock kernel with adb permissions and SE linux permissive

Odin TWRP 3.0.0-0 -> go into recovery and flash -> Boot into System. If it doesn't get stuck into boot loop then you should be rooted.
worked here while rooted

Are you getting the bootloops that are warned about in the xposed thread for Samsung stock roms? I'm hesitant to get into it just yet.
