You're talking about pirated apps on XDA, massively against the rules so you won't get any help on here.

[Q] Cyanogen Camera app on Honor6 ?

Hi,
after installing CM11 I wonder why the camera app is different from the one of the Oneplus One, which I liked much more than the installed version.
If I search the Google PlayStore on the phone for "Cyanogen Camera" it does not appear.
If I search the PlayStore with my PC I can find it, but the store tells me that it is not compatible with the Honor 6.
The needed Android version is stated as 4.3 or higher which should be no problem with CM11.
How can I change to the version on the PlayStore?
Best regards
Tom

Thanks. I'm going to follow that strategy. Between that and BT not working I'm going to stick with 12.0 (5.0.2.)

Telenet Yelo Play app on Marshmallow and rooting

Hello,
First of all this is an online TV watching app here in Belgium provided by my provider called Telenet link.
It works fine when I'm not rooted, so no SuperSU installed and no su binary. I did some testing and tried "RootCloak" and "No Device Check" but that causes the app to force close after logging in. What can be the cause of the app force closing with RootCloak or No Device Check enabled? I think the app only checks if SuperSU is installed because I'm using systemless root. But again I'm not certain.
Thanks in advance

Hello, looking for the same solution for my android tv sticks. Anybody checked 'Magisk' ? Hope to hear good news
I hacked a version for my personal need (pretty easy to do, but every time telenet comes out with a new app I need to redo the hack because of the update policy) and it is working on rooted devices but it is only for Lollipop roms (5.0 and 5.0.1) and lower.
You can download here, if in the future Telenet updates the app I will try to release a new hacked one.

Thanks civato, this works on my Huawei Mate with Android 4.4.2 I had to uninstall the original version first, update only resulted in streaming problem.
I am interested how you managed to crack or is this a secret you don't want to share?
What is the problem to make it work on Android 6.0?

Android is open source to me so no secrets here.
It is a older yelo play (4.3.0) that I changed. I just change the build version (matching the new yelo play app so it doesn't wan't to update) Then I recompile and sign it.
As 4.3.0 only supports up to Android 5.0.1 and doesn't have the DRM stuff Telenet put in the 4.7.1 and higher , but it was from 4.7.1 that it started to support android 6.0.
Maybe if I got more time to look into the smali files and try to get around to detect method for rooted phones I can get a better solution for this problem.

OK, thanks for the clarification. I will try to use suhide on my new phablet with Android 6.0
I just don't understand why Telenet refuses rooted phones, on a PC you are allowed to be administrator with much more possibilities for "misuse" than on Android.

Hello everyone,
I'm proud to say that I've successfully installed lineageOS 18.1 on my old Oneplus One.
On the other hand I've found some problem with the camera (sometimes) and on GPS signal. It doesn't work AT ALL!
I tried to install some GPX fix app but nothing happened. It didn't recognize anywhere my position and I cannot fix it.
it is just a bug that some of you have found in the same way?
Thank you for any help.
Same issue. Just upgraded both recovery and Lineage from 14.x so I can gift the phone to my niece and noticed GPS isnt working.

Hello, LineageOS maintainer here. Would you be able to install and try a test build with a GPS fix? I can send it to you in a couple of days.

New OTA update pushed seemes to have fixed the issue before could even try Tomtom's fix.
Nightly was 20211007
Verified through Google maps and find my device service.
Big thanks to Tomtom for his willingness to reach out and help with such an old device.

and thats my question how do you do install gapps. i always get an error 70. whats my fault
I flashed LineageOS 20220203 to my OnePlus One this Saturday (5th Feb) and I noticed that my GPS is not working. Is there a patch for this that I can use?
Edit: Before flashing LineageOS 18.1, I had first reset the phone to stock firmware by following this post - https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...ck-current-build-cm13-1-2-znh2kas3p0.2826541/ could this have affected the GPS in any way?

Can't Install WhatsApp on custom rom

Dear Forum members,
I have lineae 15.1 on my Samsung S2 GT-19100 Running Oreo 8.1.0.
WhatsApp stopped supporting my version and said I needed ot upgrade. I couldn't upgrade. Just nothing happened when I tried to update.
I couldn't download via the phone so I downloaded a good .apk file and installed it via my desktop computer.
After I installed WhatsApp the app said my phone date and time was wrong so I recalibrated the date and time but it still said phone date and time is wrong.
So it was stuck on that notification page... Phone date and time is wrong.
Then it said WhatsApp does not support custom Roms. Is there any way to get WhatsApp to work on my custom rom? I've tried all I know and I can't get it working.
Thanks Community
Tim

Looking at Whatsapp's FAQ it seems like Whatsapp doesn't support custom roms and/or rooted devices. And if I understood your question right, you are currently running Lineage OS. So I would think your best hope would be finding an mod that supports rooted/custom rom devices or modding the app yourself.
If my answer helped you please upvote it to show your appreciation,
Jamie
Did you download that apk from the WhatsApp official website? Is it the latest version, v2.21.23.17 or later?
The common prompt 'the date is wrong' means that the version you are using is too old.
The version I installed is 2.18.92...
Tim
Your question got answered by WhatsApp themselves:
About rooted phones and custom ROMs | WhatsApp Help Center
faq.whatsapp.com
Try using the latest WhatsApp apk from apkmirror. I think it has more to do with the version you have installed. WhatsApp tends to disable the old APKs.
Also, although they say they don't support custom roms, it's just a pop-up that says you may face issues because you are on a custom rom which you can just click 'ok' and move forward.

Get the lastest apk of v2.21.23.25 from the WhatsApp official website or update it through Google Play Store at first.
I loaded the latest version and it restored all my conversations and content. What a refreshing simple answer ! So easy..
I was assuming all sorts of mismatches but it worked a treat. Usually I avoid the lates versions because of matching issues.
Thanks for the guidance, I should have spotted that myself.. ! Enjoy your day.
