Hello All,
there are bunch of forums describing how to Flash Roms and or how to Reset the Firmware of Omnia 7 etc.... but none by far has worked for me. I am new on XDA, as well for WP7 phones.
I searched all places like Tsar.com and xda and others, found many links directing to the original Operating systems and firmwares for the phone but none of the links works. All the links provided by Xda-Developers, are through Llivid, and they just download a crappy **** software, but not the program I need.
(apologies for my language...)
Please, is there anyone out there, with valid Samsung Omnia 7 (Gt-I8700) Operating System and Firmware software, Flash program and Guide, which they can share with me so i can retrieve my phone from the boot loop screen to work...???
Awaiting reply.... thanks to everyone in advance...

Verizon has released a software upgrade for the Samsung Omnia II (SCH-i920). The upgrade contains a handful of enhancements including Windows Mobile AKU Update to 5.0.93, Qualcomm updates, Widgetplus updates, and Facebook app updates.
You can find the Upgrade Too here with step by step instructions. Remember, upgrading your Omnia II will erase any data you have on your Windows Phone. It is important to backup your data before upgrading.
Go to wmexperts.com for link.
Samsung has recently re-done their website. As far as I can tell, Samsung has also removed the update (and all links to it) from the site. According to Samsung tech support, the update should be made available in the near future. That was a week ago and still no update is currently available.
strangely my post got removed and no one messaged me as to why it was removed. if u mods remove my posts please pm me as to why it was removed. there was nothing wrong with my post. it took a long time to type that up its just common courtesy to let that person know.
anyways if anyone wants the upgrade to the omnia 2 pm me and I will give u the information and it is official via samsung's website and it this information was also given to me from a Samsung representative.
if this post gets deleted I will not message on this board again it will be the last time since no one has the common courtesy to message u when mods delete ur posts. I use to be a mod on a forum and I know how it works and I let posters know via pm why their post was deleted.
thanks.

Which version of the Omnia II do you have? The i8000, , the i8000L, the SCH-i920, etc...? If we know that, we can point you to the proper forum with custom ROMs and instructions on flashing to them.
what did this update everything to, version wise? was this the long awaited 6.5.3 update for the i920?
Hi guys!
Since I didn't find any review to the "A9 NEC RENESAS EMMA V2 Dual Core Android 2.2 Tablet" offered in the (german) cect-shop, I was wondering whether someone already bought and tried it. Specs are quite nice, IMHO and videos on youtube look promising. Can someone share his experience with that tablet?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I personally have the device and the experience so far has been good using the device.
There is a whole bunch of information over at slatedroid page where there is a group of active users.
Sorry but my post is very little so you have to head over at slatedroidpage, please replace the dots with "."
www dot statedroid dot com/forum/204-rena/
Perhaps someone wants to start a thread over at this page? Hopefully some XDA developer over here owns the device and we can get things started
overall the device has received 3 firmware upgrades so far and the community is hopeful for gingerbread to be released for this. We do have the kernel source codes for this product but do not have any developers to help us out with getting gingerbread out yet for this.
also replace statedroid with "slatedroid"
I also don't purchase this tablet, but i purchase flytouch 3 from a china site, called mcbub.com,i find they have the A9 NEC renesas tablet, here is some review in their site:

hope this can help you.

There are a lot of discussions on A9 NEC RENESAS EMMA V2 Dual Core Android 2.2 Tablet at tabletrepublic forum too http://tabletrepublic.com/forum/cortex-a9-renesas-ev2/
full root for Rena 3
Greetings, comrades!
All the usual, lazy engine of progress. Tired of doing manually as rooting and rebuild the firmware for Rena, i am wrote a script that works like a flash, but flash itself is not working, just do it root! =)
Thus, the universal root for any firmware Rena 3:
Install:
Unzip all the files and qroot directory to root SD card.
Turn off the device.
Turn on, hold VOL+ POWER.
Wait until the message "Well done. Root complete."
Reboot device, enjoy.
The necessary files and directories:
install.sh
uImage4
ff4
cramfs4
sdboot.bin
uboot-sd.bin
and directory /qroot
NOTE!
The update does not repartition and reformat the partitions do not.
Is provided as is, no guarantees and responsibility.

Welcome, the XDA community is about development. There are several other sites that might be able to specifically address your issue with a little more information as suggested above.
Posting a message at one of the sites noted below, more suited to technical help, which explains in detail what your problem is and what you've tried to solve, will probably lead to a quicker resolution. The answer may already be posted! If possible search first.
There are three (3) forums dedicated to Technical Help for the various models of Superpad's at apad.tv Main-Forum.
The is one (1) dedicated sub-forum and one (1) Unlisted InfoTM forum in the Infotmic subforums at SlateDroid.com.
The is a huge forum for SuperPad at androidtablets.net.
As this site pulls users from all over the world here are a few International discussions as well regarding the SuperPad.
There at several forums related to SuperPad at the Russian - 4PDA
Closely related the to the Flytouch the are several Spanish discussions on-going at Tabletsmania
Portugal's adroidPT APAD forum has a few discssuion's of the SuperPad.
Finally, there is a post about the specific Hardware ID's "hwver" and how to match it to the appropriate InfoTMIC Update Wrap files described in infoTMIC Hardware ID's "hwver" and updates (*.ius) which provides some additional links that will get you well on your way to resolving your issue.
Hi All,
I have a Symbol/Motorola MC7090 it's currently running Windows Mobile 5.0 with messaging and security feature pack.
I cannot connect via Wifi and I cannot get the barcode scanner to work.
It was used by a developer to test there apps, I was told that it was reset back to factory specs.
Has anyone got a ROM so that I can put Android on this??
Best Regards

I hate to revive this post, but I have the same sort of question. Please let me know if I need to start a new thread. In my case, I have two ROMs from "Zebra" (who seems to have taken over this part of that company). Mine is also the MC40, but the question I have is what do I need to do to essentially convert this from a Windows 7 CE device, to an Android device. I have the drivers for both the Win version and the Android version. I also have 3 of the Android devices and 2 of the Win devices. The model numbers are exactly the same, only the OS is different. Im doing this for the company I work for. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
