I have an LG G pad 7.0. It's a pretty new/low end tablet and I haven't found anything on how to root it. If you think it's the same as rooting the G pad 8.3 please confirm it, thanks.

Anyone else having a problem connecting to this tablet in ADB?
I have debugging enabled but ADB says offline.
The computer allow prompt never comes up either.
Shows debug mode on tablet/
I got mine friday, rooted my G3 in 20 minutes after getting it but couldn't root my tablet until today. I love this little thing. I used PurpleDrake and it worked like a charm, xposed and titanium backup installed. Time to get to work

if anybody uses reddit i got bored and slapped together a subreddit for the little tablet so any info can be gathered to one spot at least

Do you have a custom recovery installed yet?
Should be the first to-do when you root so you have a back-up handy in case anything bad happens.

If any current Android phone needs a root it's the G Flex 2. So much bloatware in Sprint version.

Please answer one thing.
if i get this phone bricked, what programme do you lot use to unbrick it?
2. also tell me, is there any root for lg g flex android 5.1.1? or is there any root at all for this device/

The old G flex really doesn't have a recovery last time I checked. On the T-Mobile variant they did come up with a trickery way to get a recovery install but it really wasn't safe, also there's still no unlock bootloader for that device neither. For a device that's been out for more then a year it's really dead it has no development at all no custom ROMs at all.
Would be ashamed if the flex 2 goes the same route.

Same boat as you.
I tried Framaroot and Kingoroot and neither rooted it.
Also, Asus support will not give an unlock bootloader code.
Sure would love to be able to though, primarily because I want to change its TTL, however I cannot write to System.
Asus zenpad z8 root?
Would like to root my device as well. It runs great on the Google Fi data only sim...just saying..
