I want update my lava iris 406Q.
And I want to download update.zip to update from boot recovery mode...
That's a method to update my mobile from setting> about> software update .but it is show you have already up to dated.
My problem is that ,1 week ago I was rooted the my phone and then I uninstall some system app from "Uninstall System App".. And there due to uninstall system app mistakely in my mobile occur some problems like automatically restart , battery percentage decreasing increasing in 2, 2 second . means 1st second my bettery is 80% then after 5 sec its directly change to 50% , and then change after 2 sec to 75% .
Therefore I want to install new update on my device to restore all system app,
But I am not know where I download update.zip plz help me .Sir/ma'am.

you can update by your phone itself.

I can't update my lava iris 406q because I had rooted my android and delegated one system apk.my android version is 4.3 jellybean when I am trying to update it is saying that I am already uptodate. Please help me out

LAVA Iris 455 Official Jellybean 4.1.1 Firmware
IRIS 455 is a nice phone and it was recently launched by LAVA.
It has 4.5 inch capacitive touch screen display with 960×540p resolution, 1GHz Dual core processor with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
I am providing the official Jellybean 4.1.1 firmware of this phone to help the people who want to make custom ROM for this mobile.
Also if somebody having problem with phone, he can flash the phone himself with the help of SP Flash Tool v3.1248.0.96.
You will also require Media Tek Driver.
Process:
Switch off Mobile, Remove Battery and after few seconds again insert battery (Do not switch on mobile and also do not connect USB cable at this time)
Install MediaTek USB VCOM drivers in your PC.
Open SP Flash Tool, then click Scatter-loading button to load the scatter file.
It will load Firmware files. Click on Firmware Upgrade Button.
It will check all files and may give a Checksum Failed warning.
Just Ignore this warning, Click on OK if warning is there and connect mobile with USB cable.
It will start updating your mobile. Complete process will take around 5 minutes.

u r dong gr8 with Lava mobiles. thanks in behalf of all Lava users. In this forum i have found threads about Lava 400, 455, 501, 502... except lava iris 454 which i have got.
i want to try CWM Recovery 6.0.2.8 for Lava Iris 455 provided by you.is it safe? if not how can i restore my stock rom? i also want to mention i am unable to make backup ROM. so i beg you to post stock rom for lava iris 454.

CWM Recovery of Iris 455 may not work with Iris 454.
Very soon I will post CWM Recovery for Iris 454.
I will also provide Stock Recovery of Iris 454.

It will not work with Iris 454.
Have you rooted iris 455 as I am not able to root the same with SP Flash Tools. I am using the same method as prescribed for iris 501 but I am not able to install CWM on iris 455. Please guide...

Method is same as Iris 501 but you must use CWM Recovery of Iris 455. Here is link for CWM Recovery of Iris 455:

How to Root Lava iris 405
First download framaroot.apkhttp://http://www.mediafire.com/download/yn4pailorndj47y/Framaroot-1.5.3.apk
1) Download the Framaroot app from above link.
2) Copy it to your phone sdcard.
3) Open your phone file manager & Install the framaroot on your iris 405.
4) Open that app after installing, and select install superuser from the list.
5) Then click on Borimor or Gandalf whatever it shows under that list.
6) Restart your Lava iris 405.
That’s it you have successfully rooted your lava ...

Open a new thread and did a tutorial is really fine but come on at same time why you don't post in Framaroot thread to report it works for your device.
I have to say your post is really not fair :
Lava Iris 405 have a mediatek processor, so only Boromir exploit work
You don't even mention Framaroot can be found on XDA in the original thread here
As a result of the second mistake you don't put the original link and put your mediafire link here

U want to root ur phone without PC, Its Easy follw THESE Steps,
1 Download FRMAROOT by the help of ur BROWSER
2 Go settings in ur mobile than open security and check unknown source install aplication
3 After than install FRMAROOT
4 open and select exploit
5 Reboot after success message
6 congratulation ROOTED IT

Can I use this stock recovery on my x1 grand lollipop version (5.0).
In my x1 grand (5.0) there is no stock recovery, when I go to recovery it say "NO COMMAND".

Bro !! The company has blocked entrance to the recovery u have to try new pattern the pattern is I just do random but volume up down and fastly prees power button say thnx if it works

CAN SOMEBODY PLS HELP
I have searched and tried o install a custom recovery by rooting and installing the flashify app but it just doesn't work
my LAVA IRIS X1 GRAND has lolipop 5.0 version and its shows the same error no matter which recovery I try to flash in flashify [error copying file]
so far i have found a CWM recovery and also by extensive search i have found twrp also but the same result
I have tried to unlock my mtk bootloader too but I cannot do it
I HAVE EXPERIENCE IN ROOTING AND UNLOCKING BOOTLOADER SO ANY ADVICE GIVEN USEFUL , I just cant crack this phone pls
