Also I did mod it myself but with a tutorial the same place I learned how to hex editor of hboots to removed RED text(WHICH IS STUPID EASY) LOL. so did I come up with this idea no but I was looking for the way. I did pull the dialer an follow tutorial an made it work.. my wife an kid an me love this an well we wanted to try your Rom out an now they r pestering me about it lol.

Yeah, I would like to see the Tutorial so I can understand how it works. And so people dont think you are crazy, you should put more info about what we are talking about in your OP (Dialer Mod and post a picture of it).

Really all it does is add the option to switch back to classic dialer in 3 dot menu . I recall it wasn't that hard I mean to follow the tutorial. I'll see if I can find it tomorrow when at work lol.

Its definitely your mod!!!Never said it was mine..an once I realized that I got this on Xda instead of from teaching myself which was a clear mistake i have been doing so much stuff on my own i got it mixed up..I pm him an pointed him to your thread to see if he could get it working on cleanrom as its the only ROM I can't get it to work on..if you have cleanrom on your phone try it out. I have tried everything nothing works f/c every time but only on this ROM...we were talking bout it in his ROM thread an we moved the talk here is all. Not trying to sell your thunder an im very thankful for this mod as its real nice. just trying to get it to work on cleanrom 1.4.

I don't use that ROM but if you want, pull the dialer from the ROM, post it and I will mod it, or I'll tell you how to do it.

I didn't want you to think I was trying to take your work at all is all I was getting at. I'm on badseeds now after work I'll pull it from my ROM zip at home...if you feel like it you can pm me what to change I'm always willing to learn something new for down the road

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only android phone capable of taking a screenshot out-of-the-box is the LG G2x/Optimus2x. Every other android phone required a screenshot application such as drocap, shootme, etc.
That's correct, I use Shootme, you have to be rooted to use it. I believe MIUI has something like it built in to the ROM.

wanting to learn is one thing. I'm in the same boat there but I test things before they get posted. I resolve my own issues. I read and pull things apart to learn about what's inside.

good point. there are a few here starting out. I made explicitly sure it was clear simply honey is not my work and I won't accept donations till I move on to another project as I don't want to take from the creators. that thread is about dead now sinse I have little time and an unresolved issue or 2. actually I may wait till I get that "recognized developer" tag before I put up a donations link.
I didn't make that Rom I "ported" it. I may "make" a basic Rom soon. but time is an issue.

I believe that's to be used with Kies + 3rd party software like wondershare mobilego. You plug the phone in via USB and load up the software, everything you see on the phone shows on the screen and you can screenshot it with the program.

No, i replaced the boot.img with the one from cm7 and added the modem from Serendipity.

That one never booted for me, and I remember reading that it didnt for some others. The thread was also closed.
It was closed because of the complete lack of respect, and the silly posts that happened to flood into the thread. Hopefully that doesn't happen to you, but anything goes around here it seems.

Cool. No one is going to get anywhere until the source is released, which should be around november 17 when the galaxy nexus comes out. Then hopefully linuxbozo can do some magic haha or just simply wait for cm9, which linux will have to port that over (should be a little easier then the first idea). Can't wait linux! Right now i have an infuse, a cappy, an epic 4g, and a g-tablet, and they all have immature posters. As for the person who can't get it booting, i just wiped both data and cache, then flashed. Depends on what the Drop Box people have to say about it. Might be more serious than we know.
I'm sure most everyone has already acquired the 50gb of storage from Seans prior releases.. no going back now!
Well technically dropbox is free but to get 50gigs you will need to pay. Most of the US carriers opted out of it anyway as you only get to use it for 2 years. I could see it being a big deal but I don't think its that serious unless dropbox is going crazy over it. Its like the whole touchpad thing where you could get more space by just logging in with your touchpad.

This happened after I installed ICS Roms. The Genesis Rom was working just fine but would take about 2 days to send a picture, if it would even send. So I figured it was the ROM and switched to the every single other ICS and now this loud clicking noise will not go away. I can't hear my wife and she can't hear me, everything else works just fine, SMS, MMS, and so on.
So, I went back to stock, I downloaded the original NANDROID backup followed all the steps exactly and got it back to stock, the only thing I didnt do was to use NVflash to return the bootloader to stock, everything else should be stock.
Could this be a hardware issue? If so, what should I do, basically my wife wants a new phone, she is done with the G2x.

Someone needs to make a thread, title it something like "Popping noise when calling?????," have the body say, "And on 21y baseband?, flash owains zip!" With the zip attached... and everyone bump the thread 10 times a day (but no sticky because of how tapatalk displays threads).
Then MAYBE everyone and their mother, who refuse to do a search, can see that this has been asked 100+ times.

Already got the other one up, it includes the old baseband stuff too, so start bumping that one up i guess, in general section.

So apparently My wife had enough and went to the T-Mobile store yesterday, they used her insurance and switched her to a Galaxy S3 for 200 bucks.
Plus they didn't even want this phone, so I guess I will sell it.
Good for her, but I am sad, now my S2 is the slowest phone in the house, thanks guys for all your help!

There are ways around it if you know how to change your build prop. Look in the stickies in the devolopment thread

Yea no other way I have seen yet. I been waiting on a different version but I may give the other way a shot myself.

Your absolutely right, your being what's called an internet tough guy and as stated you must be ignorant because you apparently don't even know how to ask a question nor use a search. I tired using the methods in the Sticky to no avail. I want to use Google Wallet instead of what Verizon and AT&T are trying to implement (ISIS).You just know these Greedy A-Holes will charge us a fee every time we use it.
This is staying locked, an will not be reopened for any reason. Obviously the op can't read or search for anything.
