DSP MANAGER for 4.4.2 Samsung TouchWiz based ROM

Hello music lovers,
Samsung stock audio quality is just good but not powerful, not deep enough for sub-woofer pleasure.
I know there are many sound mods for Note 3, but the only one that i interest is DSP MANAGER (originally from Cyanogenmod) wich giving a deepest bass and sound is really great for me.
I have searched, tried so many threat out there and finally found the only DSP MANAGER version that REALLY WORK on Note 3 with rooted stock Samsung 4.4.2 ROM. I enjoyed it and would like to share with everyone who need this great sound mod.
No more words, thank to @serio22 it is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2571461
Important:
Flashing this will bring you the great audio quality but it will make your stock Samsung music player become useless. Use an other music player and enjoy.
Flashing is risky and i am not responsible for any trouble and damage to your device. If you understand about flashing just go ahead
Instruction:
1. Download the attached zip file in this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=48519287&postcount=1
2. Make sure your phone is rooted and have a custom recovery.
3. Reboot your phone into recovery and flash the zip file.
4. After finish flashing, reboot your phone as normal.
5. Open Setting -> Device tab-> Sound -> Music effects -> Choose "DSPManager"
6. Open App list and choose DSP MANAGER icon
7. Choose "Headset" tab and stick in "enable" bass boost.
8. Some other functions in this app you can discover by yourself.
9. Open music player and enjoy the music.
10. Tell me how do you feel ( Just kidding)
Known issue:
I only try this on my N9005, stock Samsung music player will not work after flashing this. Try other music player and it will work.
Hope that someone will fix this issue soon.

[SOUND-MOD]BioHazard Sound Mod for Mi4i

Mi4i is a high end premium device .But the sound quality is not that great for listening to songs game sound etc.
We have many audio mods available for android devices on XDA forums.
But installing some of them gives bootloop and even requires magisk and systemless superuser support which is not available for our device.
After hours of search I found a very good audio mod by ANANDMORE @xdaforums know as Bio hazard sound mod
(Original thread link : forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/sound-mod-biohazard-android-infected-t3373888)
This mod works like a charm for the device it provides very good clarity sound and even increases the audio by several times
( All download links in the post are by Anandmore he is the original developer of this mod and I am just sharing Hit a thanks button or donate him if u like this mod Thank you)
How to install : * If you are running on any of the ROMs by ferrari-devi team(Miui not tested)
*Boot into twrp recovery and flash this file BioHazard-SRC-I zip file
(Link : https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=457084094631641289)
*No need to wipe any cache or dalvik cache in the recovery
*Boot into system and your done
*After installing the mod the only apps that you have to see in the drawer are ViPER4Android & AM3DZirene. The other mods are system files that are activated by default and works In every sound emitted, in all apps, and both in speaker headphones bluetooth etc.
*AM3DZirene app is not working and keeps on crashing but don't uninstall the app ( I ll fix it soon)
*Open ViPER4Android app and your ready to tweak the audio:good:
If u liked the post hit a like to Anandmore for such a great audio mod and
Ferrari- dev team members who are working very hard to support the device
Feel free to contact me in case of errors :fingers-crossed:
Thank you

viper4android on nougat roms?

Hello guys,
Has anybody successfully using viper4android on nougat (AICP, XOSP, Commotio, Lineage, Mokee) ?
I installed, driver status says everything is ok but it is not processing. No effect whatsoever.
if you use AICP you can install viper4android for magisk, since AICP have magisk preinstalled. Viper is working fine here.
Did you tried the Arise sound system instead. It works for me.

How'd you make it work? I'm on AICP and the last time I tried swan song (forgot the exact version) I needed to turn viper off and on in order for it to actually process the effects on the track. I need to do it everytime I skip a track. It sounded really good but it was beyond annoying to do the whole turning on and off process each time I skip a track.
Sent from my Mi 4c using Tapatalk
It just works out of the box for mee for the headset. Just noticed that if I want to use both headset and speaker,it cuts it for headset.
Use ViPER4Arise Aroma package and install everything one-by-one (first viper4android core, skip everything, reboot, install next package (eg icesound), reboot, install next package.... worked for me like that.
If it doesnt work in eleven/stock media player just use the esira player from newest ViPER4Arise (i have no effects on eleven but esira works fine)
I'd also recommend u to not install am3d as it produces processing errors for me (viper says everything is fine but driver isn't processing)
(For MIUI: remove MusicFX) Download zip package and install via TWRP:

ZTE Axon 7 Mini Lineage OS Dolby Atmos MOD

Hi all,
did someone find a way to get Dolby Atmos to work on Lineage OS 14 or higher ?
I tried the variations which are provided for the Axon 7 but none of them really works.
The Apps opens but you cannot hear any difference with changeging the settings.
V4A would be also be option.
Any help is appreciated
Kind Regards
Sarbaso
I don't know if this will help, but I have a .ZIP with the Axon 7 Mini Dolby UI and Dolby App... I think you put it in system/vendor/app both of them, or if that doesn't work, you can install them both.
** Do Not Flash In TWRP **
This Is Not A Flashable .ZIP, Maybe Someone Can Make It One But It Isn't Right At The Moment!

I uninstalled Audiofx and related audio files using SD Maid Pro. Then I installed the Axon 7 Dolby Atmos through Magisk Manager and it does work. It's not perfect, and the differences in equalizer settings are much more pronounced using good headphones or an external speaker. The one "problem" that seems to stay is volume control. At its lowest, one step above mute, it's still fairly loud from the built-in speakers. It's not my main phone for now, so I haven't tried to "fix it" further at this point.

Hi,
i tried and it is not work on Lineage OS, cannot install them, it says that the package is corrupted. And there are no files to copy to system\vendor\ etc......
So i guess we have still no solution for this.
it is working now
Okay i get finally to work after some research.
Here are the steps which i done:
1. First deinstall AudioFX and CM-Audio Settings ( maybe it has an other name), i use Titanium Backup for this.
2. Install via TWRP the Ainur Auido from the following URL // https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/soundmod-ainur-audio-t3450516 ( after that i got no dolby app/settings or anything else where i change settings, because of that i followed Step 3)
3. Install the [UPDATED] ZTE Axon 7 Atmos (2.2.1.7_r1) from the following URL // https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/soundmod-axon-7-dolby-atmos-t3412342
Et voilá, now you have dolby Support under LingeageOS....

Yes it does but you should install this when you do a clean flash of a rom or it may well NOT work.
i.e wipe system, data, cache, dalvik
install rom
install dolby atmos [ i prefer dolby atmos with viper FX as you have a choice of which one to use and viper is amazing]
install gapps
reboot

@Rafaru
Yes AOKP is 100000 times better than lineage.
For you you should
wipe system, data, cache, dalvik
install AOKP rom from http://xfer.aokp.co/?developer=AOKP&folder=tulip
install unsu to get rid of Supersu https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63615067

install gapps
reboot
delete "audiofx" and "cyanogen audio" services using sdmaidpro [the best at this] or titanium pro
install Sony Music player from Magisk app
Install substratum from play store
if you want a completely black rom also install
Swift black
Pitch Black
maybe also Spectrum if the power menu remains white

[GUIDE] [All devices] [NO ROOT/ROOT] [Lollipop-Pie] How to record internal audio

Since Android 7, only Samsung device were able to record internal audio. But today I found a way to record internal audio with probably any Android 5 and above (tested on op5t 8.1 and 9.0).
Update: MIUI 10 (Android 8) have an inbuilt screen recorder that can record internal sound, but I don't know about MIUI pie.
It works on rooted and on some non rooted (confirmed working on OnePlus, Xiaomi, and few Moto) devices.
Install ScreenCam Screen Recorder (It's open-source!).
You can choose between 3 audio recording method :
-Mic : only mic
-Internal audio (Default source) : internal audio + mic, no root, confirmed working by dev on OnePlus, Xiaomi, and few Moto
-Internal audio (System app, R_Submix) : internal audio only, but need to be rooted and install a magisk module
Instructions for Internal audio (System app, R_Submix):
-Download and install the magisk module (latest stable worked for me)
-Reboot
-Enjoy!
Alternative(root, Nougat-Pie):
Method 1:
You need to be rooted
Install Internal Audio Plugin, click enable then reboot.
Method 2:
You need to be rooted with magisk
1. install App systemizer from magisk repo and reboot
2. Install Internal Audio Plugin
3. With Terminal Emulator , enter the following lines :
:su
:systemize
Choose "Systemize Installed Apps (Enter label)" , enter "com.mobzapp.internalaudioplugin" then choose priv-app and reboot.
Then you can record your screen with internal audio with RecMe or you can stream with internal audio with ScreenStream. Don't forget to set audio source to internal sound.
If it says your device isn't compatible :

Okay Guys I Finally Got The Solution For Android Internal Recording!
This Is A Temporary Fix/Solution But As Said Something Is Better Than Nothing!
Okay Guys So You Have To Follow All The Steps In The Guide Except The App Systemizing Part It's Pretty Simpe After Enabling The Audio Plugin And Configuring The Audio Source To (Internal Only) You Have To Make Sure That You Open REC Me App Right After It. I Mean In Recent Tab First Open Internal Audio Plugin And Then Open The REC Me App One Below The Other Or Whatever You're Recent Style Is It Just Has To Be One After The Other. 1) Internal Audio Plugin Then REC Me App And Start You're Recording. Then It Should Work Perfectly Fine That's All I Got Hope This Helps!
Peace
Click to collapse
But sadly internal audio plugin process is sometime killed by android so you can't record for long time and that's why sometimes sound recording suddenly stop. At the moment the only solution is to downgrade :
Divyaannshh said:
Guys I Have Seen In The Lastest Version Of REC Me App That The Recorded Video Slows Down And The There No Sound In The Video For This I Came Up With This Old Version Of The App Which Supports Lag Free Recording And Internal Audio Just Follow My Previous Step's With This App And Every Thing Should Be Fine!
LINK:https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Q99VYTej_kPVzUiFGdJ1pzEUyPM1uVj3/view?usp=drivesdk
Go Ahead And Install It Now And Let Me Know If It Worked For You.
And Make Sure Not To Change The Storage Path In The Prefrence.
And Once You Have Configured Internal Audio In The Audio Settings Do Not Change It Even After Restarting App Shows Only Normal Option Like File, Mic ETC Once It's Selected It Should Work Perfectly Fine!

Retry after reboot, you can check if you can only disable the app it means it's done
And if it still fail contact the creator of this magsik module
EDIT : don't work anymore on Pie.
It works, and you can keep internal audio but it's heavily delayed and a bit distorted...
Wish azscreenrecorder supported this plugin
