gear2 neo watch band info - Samsung Gear 2

today I put on my watch and the band slipped out of the metal housing on me , it slides back in fine however font stay together , the small holes line up , wondering if there was a plug or a piece that slides in here that I lost or something ?
is someone able to post an image of what goes through the small holes on the bottom of the strap for me please
also wondering best place to buy the original replacement band as I prefer the clasp on this watch band

your missing the little rivets that hold the silver piece to the strap... looks like you need a new watch band; i doubt its really "fixable" at this point.

Spoke to Samsung and setup for a replacement but waiting for the turn around time for just a strap I decide to fix It myself with a couple of pop rivets.
It turned out great thanks for the info.

Iphone belt clip?

So I have been using http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005PTTF2A/ref=oh_o00_s00_i00_details belt clip for a few months and I've been through 3 of those already. They aren't that strong where you have to press to release the phone but I like the style of the clip not to bulky.
Now I've been seeing a different type of clip where you just slide in the phone like the iphone. It looks like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hard-Shell-Holster-Combo-Belt-Clip-Case-iPhone-4-4G-/140615366301?_trksid=p5197.m185&_trkparms=algo%3DSIC.NPJS%26itu%3DI%252BUA%26otn%3D12%26pmod%3D250865685945%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D4856172217204378626#ht_2791wt_782. Has anyone seen one for the MT4GS? I would love to get something like that. It doesn't have to have both the case and the clip just the slide clip will work.
I just got a iPhone from work and my case came today so I just randomly to slide my MT4GS into the case to see if it fit and it fit pretty well even though it's not made for it. If there isn't one specifically made for our phones I might just buy another one just to use with the mytouch. It's a pretty good fit and it doesn't seem like it would fall out or anything.

XO Skins installed, pics and review + coupon

Finally got around to posting pics and a review of this installed. This is the xoskins screen protector for the Samsung Galaxy S4. The design is improved from the S3 in that it doesn't cover below the button and above the speaker. I found that eventually that tiny piece would catch on something and stretch. The fit is dead on and they still have great clarity and no orange peel. I found a 30% off code cservice30 not sure how many times you can use it, but it worked at least once. It comes with a spray bottle and a squeegee that I hang on to and use to clean the phone in the future. It's a tiny bottle of water and soap. There are also a few videos they have posted on installing these. I couldn't find one for the S4 bu the S3 is similar enough that you get the point, I'll post that below along with my pic of it installed and the main video.

is this normal or my book cover just a defect one?
Thanks
nobody has this 8.4 book cover?, Please check for me.
if my cover is a defect one,I can change or return in 7 days.
please, Thank you
It's hard right? Not like it's soft and missing something right?
Don't worry, it's like that - they had to make one side easier to lift to open the casing.
thank you. kenkiller
Can confirm (magnet in bottom section on front and back flaps), received mine today (only ordered it last night).

[TEARDOWN] Looking for thermally conductive tape: even ifixit doesn't go that far ...

I bought a replacement midframe for the OPO:

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Unfortunately, the frame (like any other I found on other sites) doesn't come with the black thermally conductive adhesive transfer tape (cf ifixit teardown at step 19):
My question is where to buy this kind of tape? I've searched the web to no avail, but that might be because I'm not using the right words?
Any insight welcome!
@valkandroid Something like https://www.sparkfun.com/products/10561 ?

Click to expand...

It is the right thing for a replacement copper sheet, indeed! Thanks! :good:
But then my two cents is that it won't do as a replacement of the black film you can see on there under the tweezers (you'll find the same kind of film/tape at the back of the frame):

EDIT: found this on 3M:
Not sure that would do the trick though ...

I think this is how Samsung and Huawei punch a hole on screen

These two smartphone-makers have unveiled their new products featuring a "hole-punch" selfie camera, A8s, nova 4 and View 20.
It is weird that both of them put the hole in the left corner.
Why not middle?
But I appreciate what they have done to remove the ugly notch.
Just found a news introduce how HUAWEI remove the notch.
https://www.huaweicentral.com/huawe...panel-to-get-full-screen-ratio-notch-out-yes/
They narrow down all the sensors into the thinnest top forehead and leave a small hole to place the camera.
Here is the question: How do Samsung and HUAWEI make the hole ?
Normally we will use a drill to drill the hole...:laugh:but it is so easy to crack the screen.
What do you think?

It's unlikely that they actually make a screen without a hole and then cut one. It's much more likely that they are just manufactured with the hole to begin with.
