Hey guys, first of all thank u for the great work, i was wondering if u could implement the feature for the device to go to sleep when i double tap the lock screen. it does wake up when i tap the the screen while its off but it doesnt go to sleep when i double tap the lock screen. thank u..
You can enable double tab on home button and select action "Go to sleep". Not the same, but close.

If you talking all about android, then let me tell you. I'm using lenovo s850 & it got this feature in-build. I always do this, double tapping my screen to lock.

that's good, but This post is for those who didn't have inbuilt features like double tap to sleep or wake.....
Its easy just use nova launcher for double tap to sleep

Le me add something, double tap will only make your phone go to sleep but it will make it wake up. I\m talking about my phone which has in-build feature.
if your phone doesn't support wake up u can't add this feature... u will only able to sleep the phone by double tapping

Double-clicking does not work, so just like a tablet is not a proximity sensor. Try this app and unlock the screen by shaking.

The closest thing I have gotten working is double tap to sleep (via Nova Launcher settings). But I don't think there's any way to enable double tap to wake on this phone.
You can double tap the finger print sensor to wake the phone...... But not the screen.
