you should make a backup before making changes to the system, to avoid this problem in the future.
dpi needs to be changed in small amounts as to not crash the phone as you have.
you will need to find the stock firmware and re-flash the phone to fix this.

Hello!
Since yesterday I have a problem with my third Galaxy When I lock the screen, the screen several times on and off again (by itself). And sometimes, after all this off my phone and turned it so I have to pull the battery and put it back there. Otherwise, never turn on without this action. I installed a lot of versions of Android, and each is the same thing happening. I'm pissed because I always pull the battery. Please help me.

Did you do the wipe after flashing the various ROMs (or versions of android as u have written)?
1. Go to recovery mode, and do a wipe, and reboot.
2. Also check if your SD Card is properly formatted.

You try Dutchmod first, I am sure you will like it , because its a very stable and feature rich ROM. If you like it and if it works properly for you, then you can try other.
It was due to charge your phone via USB, when connected to power the phone began to function normally. Strange!

hi guys,
i have a nexus gt-I9023.
i connected my phone to my laptop to copy some files and something happened and my phone started restarting itself.
i even tried to do a factory reset and it seems to be going through the same issue even after a factory reset.
is this a hardware issue or can i get rid of it by installing a new rom.
also i am a novice users when it comes to resetting roms, would appreciate if someone could give me a step by step instructions on it.
You should try change your kernel.. if you use overclock also, disable it.. changing rom is not bad idea.. making a full wipe might help also not just factory reset..
i am a newbie at this can you please help me do a full wipe .. ?? i am not interested in putting in a new rom .. just want to restore my phone to the factory defaults... i am not that worried about the data ... i have it backed up in my google account.
nexus s same problem
hi,
i am experiencing exactly the same problem on my nexus s, kindly guide me to the full wipe process
i have done a full wipe as well .. using hard reset method ... and still the phone is not working properly ... would appreciate some help here...

I started writing a some posible ways to fix and i realised that if you are pure stock you can go to your carrier and get it fixed.. (they will probably replace the motherboard)
I had a similar problem that started like 1,5 years after i bought the phone. Random restarts when i connected it and problem loading the phone now and then.
I cleaned the usb-port from some dirt and it started working again.
Very strange but it worked for me

backup all of your important data, then re-flash the stock firmware on your device.
look in your devices forum for guides and files to do this.

Hi
How did you upgrade?
OTA , flashing??
If OTA did you upgrade al your apps , maybe one of them is making trouble
If flashing , how? and also did you upgrade your apps
Hey, thanks for the answer. It was OTA. I suppose all apps are up to date since I restored to factory settings and re-installed them.
The problem is still there even in safe mode...

Hi
yeah is odd , i would think it has to be app related .....
When you get the error ..after you introduce the password? what about if you ask your phone to forget your old connection , it allows you to connect to the new one then?
I would try to wipe dalvik and cache from recovery and /or reflash stock rom again..maybe something went wrong at least the modem

I tried to wipe the cache with no success. I am on a trip right now, and I cannot wipe the dalvik for the moment.
I figured out a walkthrough though using a third party app called "WIFI manager". I even managed to install a certificate and use it for a connection to an "eduroam" network...
