Sorry. It works like a charm. I tried to install like a normal app. Shame! Just copy the apk and past it in root>system>app and reboot your device.

You will have to copy that via a root file manager to:
/system/app
It works!

why not simply install whats available for your grand then on play store or samsung store? You know the difference of a root and non rooted apps and why a app needs to be rooted in the first place right?
If not i would advise you do some reading before you head back into developers forum and post comments without any base.....
I could point you to a forum where an admin says this forum has become nothing but a bunch of dumbass who gets a new smartphone and comes to this forum thinking thats what its required
You owning a grand from past few months doesn't make you any smarter to comment on other users effort for rooted apps. Either you use it if you want to else you don't.... Crappy part is the Weather info... nothing I can do atm but maybe the Chinese devs will listen. It's barely a month old so there's a lot of improvement to go. MIUI has had way over a year to get ahead of these guys but who knows.

I will however make a build when it is. And no ETA's. So don't ask. The reason I made it 2.3.7 is it's the most stable baseline we have. This Rom is going to be just as stable as TeamHeroC's 2.3.7 we have and includes all the CM elements.
It may ask to allow Appkit Superuser rights upon install. Also the sounds were all silent after install. Just select a ringtone and notification tone and it'll be just fine.
When receiving a call the vibration patterns are a little off but it works. Looking more into that.

Hey you can't port slim bean as it need a kernel source mediatek doesn't provide it and if you can make kernel than only you can port and I guarantee you can't because it is a nightmare for even big dev but if you what to port some other rom than just google search "how to port rom if we have base rom " you need many tools if like android kitchen etc.... Search for it you will get a clear view

I have the same question. The file is "i777-4.6.29-4.4.zip". Since it is posted in Galaxy Note 2 it may be for note2 but can someone please confirm? I am excited to try Kitkat based MIUI
I downloaded the zip as quickly as i could and yes i did notice i777. I thought maybe it works , because another MIUI dev had multiple names and still could run.
The build.prop says i777 too. I'm not sure what to do next. Any help would be appreciated.

edit build.prop and remove line relating to i777..............will be first 4 lines up to EMMC bit. rom should now flash without device get prop check

actually looking at the updater script it all looks fine so it will flash. device will however be notted as i777 as per build.prop. can edit to gt-n7100

With philz it gave stats 7 error. Tried with latest twrp , it gives "Failed".

it may not obviously work right as wifi and also signal may be broken..............its virtually impossible to brick samsung with tools like ODIN available ..............if you get symlink errors it doesn't like recovery used

yep build.prop needs edit as all relates to i777. pretty sure system board is different from n7100. you could try replace build.prop from another N7100 KK rom with one in rom zip as that could help!

also some really good and more knowledgable people on here than me so if they feel to might advise you on edits needed...............if can be done for i777 so n7100 might not be far behind.

Sorry if I'm being stupid, but i also tried replacing the build.prop.. Thank you for your time and replying back. Getting back to my previous rom.
I guess we'll have to wait until the op decides to respond or someone else has some definite say on this.

Where do you see N7100xx? The mega link still shows i777xx

I can't seem to log into my LG account, either but that's not so important ( to me ). I'm just so glad that I can browse through the app using English

OMG !!! Thanks for pointing that out to me mate! How dumb can I be.. I didn't attempt to download anything until now.. I just messed up that .apk..
It's ok.. I don't really use the LG Smart World app to download.. A bunch of crap.. I can always restore it later

Yeah i totally agree with you about the lg world apps full of useless and unattractive themes and fonts but yeah it feeling good having it in english ???

If you are rooted than install lucky patcher open it go to toolbox it will be on the bottom left click patch to android and apply all patches reboot than install the lg world app ?

No worries mate.. take your time..I managed to restore the app back to Korean ( I'm in Korea so I can read a bit..LOL ). My login details worked and I can download whenever I want

i think it won't work because as much as i experienced without disabling signature check and patch to android in lucky patch it won't work but you can't take my words for sure right ??? install it if it won't than reboot your device without doing anything just go and install apk try it

What's your problem it's my work and share it the way i like.
You're absolutely NOT sharing it. You're attempting to make money off someone else's work. And it's not YOUR work. It's someone else's work that you're repackaging with your name and a price tag. It's disgusting IMHO
TWRP is and always has been OPEN SOURCE! You can't call dibs on it. You ported it. Big flipping deal. Look. We already have enough info on you to take to TWRP and have them file legal action against you for trying to sell/steal/make profit from their work.
This is why MultiROM doesn't try and sell their ports. It's flipping stupid and illegal.
For anyone else reading this, since XDA's admin doesn't seem to understand what "OPEN souce" means, just PM for the recovery.img I'll build one myself tonight since it's LITERALLY typed out step by step on TWRP's website and requires ZERO talent or effort......

Back to the topic.... The rom worked great. I tried it and it worked out fine. I had to enable systemless root and flash the systemless root SU binary to get root but it worked great. Now I'm gonna be working on creating a custom rom or a port. Not sure which one. If anyone is interested or has an opinion, let me know

Sorry bro, don't have t-mobile. However, MetroPCS uses T-Mobile's network so it may work out of the box for you.

I built my own version. I'm not ready to release it yet because it's got some kinks in it. It won't allow TWRP backups to complete. I don't feel like that's worthy of being released unlike that other douche bag who put it out anyway. But if you need it, PM me and I'll send you a download link
