i see that the GT-I9105P has alot of roms contrary GT-I9105
SO i was thinking why i cant install these roms on my device
OK this is the way
✴1-download this cwm✴
2-install any rom of GT-I9105P and enjoy
NOTE1:-IN THIS RECOVERY YOU CAN JUST INSTALL THE ROMS OF GT-I9105P!!
YOU CANT INSTALL THE ROM OF GT-I9105 EVEN IF U GOT GT-I9105
NOTE2:-CURTLY NFC WILL NOT WORKING!!

I was looking for something like this, I got a i9105 non-NFC, and I do not need NFC either, so is it secure to flash any i9105P rom with this recovery? And does there work everything (except NFC)?

GT-I9105 custom recovery=GT-I9105 custom roms
GT-I9105P custom recovery=GT-I9105P custom roms
You can also flash 9105P recovery on 9105 or 9105 recovery on 9105P

If install gt-19105p recovery on gt-19105 and install kernals of gt-19105p will that work with no prob..
Is that safe if i installed twrp of the p-version on the non p-version

How to downgrade android from 4.2.2 to 4.0.3 . I upgraded using CyanogenMod and now I tried to root but not able to . so , either a root method or downgrade methob will do forms. BTW I have a GT 2 P5100.

I think he's running cm because there is no stock 4.2.2 for Galaxy Tab 2. If you're running cm, of course you can't root it, it's pre-rooted

Your right about cm but its not rooted cause I ran root checker and it said its not properly rooted

Sure is CM Rootet, i think you have disabled Root in developer settings or you have make an mistake by installing CM.

I see it, flash the whole ROM without a fullwipe, only wipe cache and dalvik cache.

It's weird.I thought the nfc n non nfc rom are different. In the mist of testing the pac man rom,i discovered that it can boot and function as mentioned,which is weird cause it supposed to work on the i9105p version. So i downloaded the rom made by skullface(cm10),again to my surprise,it work as well,with the same function and issue with i9105p version. I haven't tried the panda's rom though,cause i suspect that's when my luck end So what really different between I9105 and i9105P 's ROM?
(ps: to other i9105 users,pls dont try it,i won't guarantee what will happen)
P version has NFC and I also saw something different in init scripts (/bin/RescueStarter). But that should be the only difference between those models.

No, differentiate. Continue making rom for I9105P so if you flash to P you will have nfc if you flash to non P you won't have nfc. If you do the reverse P won't have nfc

WARNING:
I do think you can install T230 Roms also on the T230NU but you will lose the use of the IR blaster (when flashing back to stock rom with odin for T230NU ir blaster is working again) BUT YOU CAN BETTER WAIT FOR T230NU ROM

T230NU test rom is comming in a day or 2
Seems like it's installing nothing. Not even deleting/rewriting the content of /system. Also my TWRP (2.8.0.1) reboots while installation.

This is taken from boot.img fstab and should work for mount points.

I don't know if it's an error with the ROM or if I made a mistake but I could not enter TWRP until reinstalling it after installing the zip.
The ROM itself boots without problems/FCs/errors.

it started ok without md5 checking and then got bout 10 seconds in and gave me blue writing then reboot tab and it stuck booting........
