No. No bootloader unlock 4.3+ as of yet. That fact is literally all over the VZW SIII forums.

The unlock and root guide is very good. If you have the latest stock rom installed you will have the latest bootloader.

[Q] Is my bootloader unlocked?

I rooted my phone and unlocked bootloader back on 4.1. I have 4.3 ota rooted. When I start my phone up it says Samsung unlock, does that mean my bootloader is unlocked and I can install 4.4?

No, it does not mean your bootloader is unlocked. And no, you cannot install any 4.4 ROMs. You can only flash 4.3 TW ROMs through safestrap.

No, you cannot change or flash any kernels. You have to stick with the stock kernel. A list of safestrap compatible ROMs and other good information is posted in this thread:

Just download the respective firmware and flash it via Flashtool.
You won't lose the drm keys.

1. So no problem if 4.4.4 (.93) is rooted?
2. If it's OK. Any chance to root Lollipop like i rooted
.93? (Giefroot method)
Thanks
No you can't root 5.0.2 with that method.
If you want to retain root, the only way is to flash pre-rooted zip via NUT's dual recovery.
I must unlock the bootloader to do that?
No you do not.
But you must ask questions in the question and answer section.

[Q] Flash Customised Firmware on Carrier Device

I'm still confused about this. Can we do what the title says? Been searching it for a while and I can't find any answers because probably no one asked this. Thanks
Yes you can. Without root you can flash FTF,s. With root & recovery you can flash sony stock based roms. With unlocked bootloader you can flash custom kernels

Ah thanks. Always thought there would be a conflict when flashing a generic firmware on a carrier phone.
