[Q] Samsung GALAXY Apps update problem - Samsung Gear 2

I tried to check for new apps today and had to download a new version of the app store. It downloaded the 8.42 MB update but has been hung in installing forever. Even after a reboot it still hangs. Anyone else having the same problem?

For anyone else having the same problem, I fixed it by deleting cache, uninstalling updates, and force stop. When I opened it again it had an update of 17+ MB which installed fine. No obvious changes and no new apps for my Gear 2, but at least I can run it again.

[Q] Market Keeps Crashing when accessing MyApps or installing new App

I have a rooted US Wifi xoom with 3.2. I can search for and download apps but if I try to install it, the market crashes . Also when I go to myapps it also crashes.
After I rooted the xoom, I installed the netflix app (and modified build.prop file so show my device as an HTC Vision)and the market still worked after i did all this, but I'm not sure what else could cause it to stop working.
Any ideas?
Update:
Fixed the issue by clearing the cache and data in the MyApps application.

[Q] Play Store 3.5.15 install problems

I have been trying to install Play Store 3.5.15 on my Xoom and have been running into a couple of issues. Intially it would not install and I recived a message saying an existing package with the same name and a conflicting signature etc. So I uninstalled version 3.4.7 using Titanium Backup, rebooted and installed version 3.5.15. After signing in the app just keeps force closing every few seconds. I tried going into Apps to clear data and cache with no improvement.
I am running Bugless Beast (the 3/16 nightly).
Does anyone have any ideas on what may be going on and how to successfully install Play Store 3.5.15?

[Q] Package Access Helper keeps crashing

I have a rooted my Desire S with 4.1.2 build by nk111.
As soon as I open the apps manager in the settings, I get a package access helper stopped unexpectedly error.
The error comes up 4 times... I can install/uninstall apps without any problems, but it seems like the system can't calculate the used diskspace of apps.
I tried to clear the cache and also fixed permissions, but it doesn't help and I have no idea what else could fix it. Any ideas?

[Q] Downloading notification stuck (wipe/force stop not working)

On my i777 (GSII AT&T) on CM10.1 nightly, I tried using the CM Updater to download the newest nightly and install, but it didn't work so I canceled the download, but the notification remained. I updated manually and it was still there, so I tried wiping the data and cache, force stopping, and turning off notifications for the CM Updater application. I also downloaded an app that is supposed to clear/restart notifications. Is there any other way for me to force a notification to go away, or am I going to have to restore a backup because of a notification? Thanks.
You could try freezing the app, but then you'd have to unfreeze it the next time you wanted to check for an update.
Same issue on Samsung SGH-T989d (Galaxy SII X - Hurcules)
CM-10-20130120-Nightly-hurcules currently installed.. attempting to update to CM-10-20130127-Nightly...
Download stuck.. after wipe data/force stop../reboot etc...
any other suggestions?
I should have mentioned that I disabled the app in settings and froze it in Titanium backup, to no avail.
Band-aid Solution....maybe... (worked for me)
The phantom download eventually stopped after i force stopped CM updater.. and then i downloaded the rom via browser (chrome) .. moved into the CM updater folder.. launched CM updater which saw the ROM as downloaded and allowed me to reboot/install from there.
not sure if there will be problems moving on to the next version... but we will see

Many apps have stopped after Android 6.0 update - any global way to fix?

Hi all,
A few months ago I've installed a Developer Preview of Android 6.0 on my Nexus 5. It has worked surprisingly well and today I've updated manually to the latest build (MRA58N). So no root, official recovery...
Android itself works well, but many apps from the Play Store stop with the famous "Unfortunately [App name] has stopped" message. Virtually half of them.
I've tried the usual ways to fix the problem like the cache cleaning and so on, but nothing works. The only way is to uninstall the app and to install it again. Of course, every one needs to be configured next.
What can I do? Of course, I can reinstall and reconfigure every single app, but maybe there is a global fix already available?
[Update]: I continue to investigate the issue because my other Nexus 5 has been updated perfectly. It seems the problem is related to the app permissions as some of them can't access the files, other launch, but can't open any file. Any way to repair the permissions?
Thanks in advance.
