I always turn to Adaway for my adblocking needs, but I know the app hasn't been updated since late February of this year. It still seems to do it's job well, but then again, I am just starting to use it again after six months of NOT using it, so I'm not sure if it really still works well.
I'm curious if you guys have turned to other adblocking apps, since development for Adaway seems to have stalled? What are your thoughts?

I have the vzw g3 and adaway is the only one I got working. I tried adfree first and that didn't work.
Where do you get this adaway? Looked in the play store and didn't see it.

Never knew about that one. Will try that if Adaway fails me.
I swear, adblocking is one of the finer perks of rooting. I know there are non root methods out there. But the root methods are better by far.

I use it + YouTube adaway. It's helpful to selectively choose which apps to block ads from. I use it mostly because adblockers + Pandora creates skipping in the music.
Isn't devolpment of Minminguard also cancelled? Is there no adblocker that still gets updated?

Exactly! Since i found it i don't see ads, not in apps and not on Internet. I use it on my laptop too, fantastic project.

AdFree is a good choice for rooted phones, but since. You haven't got root, I don't think you can have really effective ad blocking... At least, as mentioned above, not in-App.

Adfree, i don't know if you have to be rooted to use it.
I've tried using the SwitchMe app multiple times but it always crashes before I can set up a profile. Is this just an issue on the Sidekick or am I missing something?
I would think it should be compatible cause I can download it from Google play.

Ah, I restored mine through Titanium Backup from the G2.
I imagine a lot of these incompatibilities are just because they haven't added the device to the list yet, a lot of the ones that claim to be "incompatible" actually work fine if you sideload or restore it.
Igo is working fine for me. U need a 2560 data.zip for it. And do not use the branding.zip. i have got the June 2014 version working without fuss.

Yep...this was one of the things i was looking forward to with the g3. My HTC one would lag too much with it and so was looking forward to a smoother experience. Turns out they have to optimize it.

For some reason, my snapchat app is saving peoples Snaps (ppl don't know), but it saves there snaps and stories to my gallery. My question is how do I stop this? I've clean flashed my Xenon Rom for Oneplusone and it still happens. Any help appreciated, it's so odd to randomly save ppl snaps.
