I had recently bought galaxy iphone and I had installed white iphone 4 skin cover. This skin cover provides protection to my device from scratches and any other sort of damage.
Iphone 4 skin cover
is there a point to this thread?
Yup, apparently he bought the Iphone 4 skin cover. It covers his phone and protects it from damage.
Amylovescomputer is that you again? LOL

I'd also be keen to know if anyone has one and their thoughts on it.
Wish UAG made a case for the Note 8.
I ordered it for $39 dollars on eBay, I hope to get within a week..I'll let you know how it is.
Ballistic reviews for other devices look very promising!

Received it today; first impressions...it fits like a glove, but it's easy to put on.
The silicone is the inner shell so it doesn't attract any dust. The plastic outside shell has a nice texture and isn't slippery. The only rubber parts which can be seen are the"enforced"edges, which serve the purpose of protection and makes sure that your screen never touches anything when laid down on its face and a narrow ring around the screen. The case however doesn't have covers for the ports(usb, camera, headphone and speakers) I had the idea that it would come with a screen protector, but my dead brain cells must have misunderstood the description. It comes however with a protective cover which also serves as a stand. It feels sturdy and with it on, your note is well protected, it makes however quite heavy like a brick.
The "phone"still fits in my hand, but that is without the cover attached.
All in all I'm quite satisfied with this case it will protect my note well and the design is not too shabby either.
I'll give y'all an update in two weeks.
Cheers my friends.

Do you still have access to the S-pen?
Sure no problem, the spen is easy to remove and all the buttons(volume etc) react perfect even with such a protective case.

I can't find it for that price anywhere. Happen to have a link? I'm interested in picking this up over the otterbox
I bought it through this shop, fast and cheap shipping!

I had to use ebay since I live in Japan, otherwise this offer on Amazon would have even been better!:crying:

thanks for sharing your impressions and the pictures. i am very tempted to pick one of these up myself. I got a simple/cheap flip case to hold me over temporarily, but to be quite frank, I am too damn clumsy not to invest in more serious protection for my electronic devices.
Note 8 is my first case, so was curious how such a sturdy case felt on the device. Ballistic basically won over my loyalty two smartphone ago...had the equivalent case on my Atrix, and one day while running to catch a bus my phone fell out of my pocket and when flying, slammed into the asphalt of the highway/street i was running across hard enough to bounce three times and make it halfway back towards the other side of the street. I was horrified, went to retrieve it... not one single scratch, not one sign that anything had happened, just nothing. Those massive corners do their job, is all I have to say...
Hoping the case for this device is as reliable.
I can highly recommend this case, after two weeks of using, it has been nothing but good to my sweet note. The case and the stand feel sturdy, and when the note is my bag, the cover protects the screen...good stuff and a hell of a lot cheaper than the otter box.

just received mine today. this case is perfect but i am wondering how come the front cover which acts as a kickstand has a big hole that we will display the name samsung. i find it weird and find the hole redundant.
any thoughts?
When you put the cover on the back, the hole is a cutout for the camera.

yup i know but still find it funny as that hole will trap dust over a period of time.
Just picked up this case. It's very nice. Good tight fit and solid all around. I had the poetic revolution case for one day and tossed it. Pure junk IMO.

Has anyone noticed the case puts too much pressure on the back of the tablet. This is causing white spots to appear on the screen. Looks like LCD mura, but goes away when you take the case off. I've sent Ballistic an email, maybe mine is defective.
No I haven't experienced this...

It's hard to notice on mine, but on a white background you can see it. Thanks for the reply.
Hello everyone.
I'm desperately looking for a bumper case for my i9500
since I've got my device, which is 2 month for now, I'm traveling around with no case at all, because nothing fits to its thick wireless charging cover.
If anyone here can give us links to buy any bumper that's fits well,
I would be very greatful.
The Samsung bumper protect case? Seen them at best buy.
can you paste here a link for product ?
I haven't found anything
I think the bumper (as in no back, just a rim around the phone) is for the active.
The case could be the samsung protective cover+...but it has a back, so you cant use wireless charging as you need to keep the back exposed.

Not really, the magnetic field passes through most covers. As long as they aren't too thick or made of metal you shouldn't have a problem.

I just got a rooCase bumper, it fits good with my Samsung wireless charging back, the only drawback is the bumper doesn't stick out very far in back, the gap between the case & the table is pretty small. I'm worried it might make contact/scratch over time. I'm going to put a skin on the back, even if it's just extra wide clear tape.

I have the back protector film so I have no problem.
Can you please share a link to this bumper on ebay or Amazon?

it's really awesome.
I don't know where to find top quality back films like this one on ebay or Amazon.
Enjoy.

Hello, I have a Nexus 5 black version.
The phone is great but I have scratches in the rubber material. Can I repair it? I tried to paint the spot with matte black but I can see the difference.
Thank you.
You can't repair it. But you can cover it with a skin...

Anyone know if you can just rub the rubber coat off? I might consider that in the future if my N5 gets scratched up pretty bad.

You can always buy a brand new "OEM" back cover for about $30. Check online and see.

its not rubber, its rubberized plastic.
Hey everyone, I'm curious to see if anyone has tried a metal case with their phone. I was looking on ebay and found these two:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Luxury-Ultr...t=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item4636bd69b9
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ultra-thin-...t=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item566d26c71f
Both look great, but I heard metal cases signal killers. Any thoughts? Do you use any?
This looks like the second one minus the branding with reviews..
