How To Enable PC Keyboard Layout In Jelly Bean 4.2 Keyboard

I have been using the new Android 4.2 keyboard for few days now, and it is nothing short of awesome. I love the way that it looks, the improved responsiveness, and the fact that you can even "swype" with it. As with many Android releases, Google has a tendency to hide features, and this latest hidden treasure is a very nice feature for tablet owners. What feature am I referring to? PC Keyboard layout. Let’s have a quick look at it, and learn how to enable it!
The PC keyboard layout naturally has more keys than the standard Android keyboard layout, with both numbers and symbols being faster and easier to access. It doesn’t work too well for standard sized smartphones, as it’s simply too small for anything smaller than a 5 inch screen. Works well on tabs though. But if anyone wanna try out PC keyboard on our phone here is the method..

The option to enable this PC layout can be found in Settings - Language & Input - Android Keyboard Settings - Advanced Settings - User input styles.
First, simply click on “Add style” (bottom right),
Select your language, and then select PC.
Now that the layout is activated, you will need to follow the same steps under “System Language” (check on your language with “PC”).
Then simply press the globe on your keyboard to change layouts and choose the PC layout you have just set up.
You're all set! Pretty nice right?

The keyboard doesnt work on cm 11 build 9, i tried to go to the keyboard settings but i couldnt find the keyboard in the list

In some roms it wont support ....if not delete latingoogleIME from system app

It is the google keyboard. You go to its setting --> advanced settings --> colour scheme --> material

Hello. I have TouchPal keyboard app because it is supposed to provide a layout similar to old phones, with t9 and 9 keys. But I don't know how to do it. Is there anyone that knows how to get a simple old white keyboard with this app? Thanks in advance!!

no need to use flashtool any more or your PC to get the stock ROM.its a flashable stock ROM v18.6.A.0.182_R3C you can flash it as any custom ROM
use TWRP 3.1.0b2 wipe data cash and factory rest then flash the zip ROM file wait till it complete then reboot thats it enjoy.the ROM must be prerooted but you must root it again using Eagltools:fingers-crossed:

any one wan to use the arabic language.its already included but you must use any app to change the language to arabic.
( because you will not find the arabic language in the settings list as the latest stock rom not put it there even when its already there)
i attach the morelocale 2.apk in the topic so you can use it to change your language to arabic or any other language(your phone must be rooted)
* the application called more locale 2 you can download it from attachment here.
* How to use:
after you install the app open it and your phone must be rooted.
1- in the top of the corner you will see a ( custom locale ) press it.
2- in the next screen you will see tow options press the first one called ( ISO639 ).
3- now you will see a list of all languages (including arabic) select your language that you want.
4- after that press on ( set ) and its don!! thats it:fingers-crossed:
