Note 4 extended battery? - General Questions and Answers

I was wondering if anyone knows if this extended battery will work for the Note 4. The battery life does scare me as that's a big selling point to me.

No one knows anything about the note 4. Everything is speculation until Samsung unveils it. Common sense says no seeing the difference between the note 2 and Note 3

Probably the Galaxy S3. Hopefully we'll see an updated Note later in the year.
Sony Xperia S... Can't wait longer for future phones
Probably the new iPhone, depending on what they come up with.

hopefully it gets as much Dev attention as the S2
I'm waiting for Windows Phone 8 devices
I've had my eye on the Galaxy Note for a while. I'm a little worried that it's only the first of a new line though and that it could be out dated quickly with the rate mobile technology is moving these days. Alternatively, I was thinking about the Galaxy SIII, but since it's not out yet it's hard to see how it will actually stack up.
What's everyone else think about that?

Not sure yet, but seeing as my HTC has had its life dramatically extended by HTC unlocking bootloader for thier devices and so making it much easier to root and mod I am finding it difficult to find a complelling reason to move from HTC
Here is the Galaxy SIII quad core processor in action vs the dual core.

Galaxy SIII
I definitely want a bigger screen. I have the DROID Bionic now and am interested in seeing what Verizon brings to the table this summer, hoping its better than there lackluster options last summer (Droid 3, Droid X2)
I am very interested in the Galaxy S3. Like I said the next thing I want in my next phone is a bigger screen, but not really taken up with onscreen keys like the Nexus. I would be OK picking up a Note variant if Verizon got it this summer, but anything with a quad core would be cool just too say I have it, even if it really isnt necessary.
Galaxy Note (TMobile). I have been saying Galaxy Note is the "best smartphone of 2012" ever since it was announced back in 2011. Now both One X and S3 specs are out and none of them have changed my mind.
I will for sure choose between a Galaxy S3 and One X

I'm currently in the market for a new phone and these three are the top contenders. But which one to get is the questions I've seen the stats and reviews. But I'm still stuck. Also I don't really want to wait for an S4 OR X PHONE... Soo uh help me maybe lol thanks

Well, you say that the SGS3 will soon be outdated but in all honesty do you really care about the newer hardware? The only real changes which will be made soon are 1080p screens and better processors. You will never see the difference between 1080p and 720p screens unless you're specifically comparing them side by side to see purely the sharpness of the screen, and I have yet to find an app that I regularly use that even the SGS2 can't handle with ease, so I doubt you'll find one for the SGS3. It takes heavy games in its stride too, since many devs optimise their apps for the SGS3's chipset (in a similar way that you see Tegra3 optimised games).
Having said this, the SGS3 also has a lot that other phones don't:
-There are various storage options and more importantly expandable storage
-Being so popular means that it has a huge variety of accessories (almost iPhone-like in that respect)
-It has a removable battery which means that you can fit an extended battery if you wish
-It has a menu button so you don't get the three dots softkey like you do on HTCs
-TouchWiz (whilst ugly) has some amazing features
-It still has one of the best smartphone cameras currently available
-The development community is huge
-It has a variety of colour options
Samsung galaxy s3.
I think I'm leaning towards the s3 or sucking it up and waiting for the s4 the storage for the dna is a huge deal breaker

Who here only buys Nexus phones?

The nexus 4 is my first nexus phone and won't be the last. And to be honest I don't think I'll buy anything else but nexus phones from here on. All these other android phones are terrible with bloat and ugly ui skins.

Hello,
I only buy Nexus phone, first the Nexus One (live long and prosper), and now the Galaxy Nexus.
Usually they have the best support, good hardware and good price.
the 3 things I consider the most important.
Nexus 7 and 10 here.. Waiting for my Samsung phone to die so I can get a Nexus phone.
Strongly considered the 4, but the non-removable battery and lack of microSD support killed any chance of me owning one.
I got my s3... but really want a nexus now.. I just wish they had expandable memory. Sure a removable battery would be nice, but the memory is the bigger need of the two.. I think Google does that so you use their cloud services.

Currently still in my nexus s and ill change to the n4 in july!
Ill never get a non-nexus! ;D
I have an s3 right now...but in the future I will only buy nexus phones, because of good developer support and AOSP.

I do love the look of the Nexus phones, but no micro-sd means I won't buy one, it just tells the manufacturers they can get away with hampering us, so unless Google ever puts expandable storage on, I'll never buy a Nexus device. Flashing another phone to something aosp based is really easy, so Nexus goodness without the drawback
I use a Tab 2 7.0 as a giant phone thats also a tablet aka phablet
I sure hope by the time this thing breaks, Nexus 7 will have proper phablet support, or, there will be a 5" nexus phone.
Have a Galaxy Nexus and a Nexus 7 : Completely Filled ! <3
I think as you all! Better Android stok that have all those changes that slow down devices
My n4 is my first nexus, but I probably won't be getting the next nexus if the continue to skip important features for me like lte, microsd and a larger battery. I actually haven't been so dissatisfied with a phone before.

[DISCUSSION] What is the killer feature that it made you buy the note 3 and its bigge

What the title says.
For me personally the killer features were the spen, the display and the multiwindow. The main problem that I found is probably the speaker(and also disappointed by the camera)

Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
Display resolution/size
3GB of Ram
SnapDragon
S-Pen
everything
not joking, huge improvement from Galaxy Note 1 / Galaxy S2
CAT-4 LTE, the removable battery and expandable storage (though the battery life on this thing is so much better than my GNexus that I doubt I'll ever need a second battery) all played a big part.
However if I'm honest, I'd figured I was getting a phablet way back in may but I was torn between the Note 3 or the One Max - I loved the design of the One and yes, the non-removable battery and non-expandable storage were sucky but I figured if they released a bigger version of it, I'd be sold.
Then IFA came and went and HTC announced nothing. Then rumours circulated that it would have a downgraded processor and after seeing the Note 3, I decided I'd waited long enough.
I'm pretty sure the exact moment I made my mind up (And this will sound stupid) was when I seen that it had a USB3 port instead.
I'd planned not to get it but it's just so damn gorgeous looking I couldn't resist. Display, s-pen and battery life are all an improvement over the Note 2 and I have 32gb internal storage now so all good.

The large display
The battery life (it has the most amazing battery life compared to my previous android phones)
The spen (still couldnt get to scrapbook a youtube video though..does anyone know how?)
The 32gb internal storage and last but not least the one handed operation..though its a big phone but feels compact for daily use. Just my 2 cent

Super fast phone, no lagging what so ever.

Must say I'm very pleased so far, this is so much faster than my SGS3 was.

Looks like you used to have an iphone
my opinion
Samsung galaxy note 3 is an all rounder device..has almost everything..
sony z1 and lg 2 are also very good but lacks some important features..like lg g2 doesn't have external sd and sony z1 display is not as good as Samsung(personal opinion so pls don't start an argument)..and i watched many reviews where they claimed the sony z1 camera is not as good as what sony is claiming..
on the other hand, Samsung has s-pen and unique multitasking features..
in my country lg g2 and sony z1 both are cheaper than gn3..but i still bought gn3 as it has everything i want..and lacks nothing (although ois in camera wud have been a nice addition)

Lg g2 to note 3?

Hi everyone. I have the lg g2 now. And I'm thinking everyday to get the note 3 but im really confused. Has anyone came from lg g2? What do you think is better? Which one has a better battery life? Help me out.. Thanks
I had an LG G2 (great phone) but it broke after I threw it (after an argument). I then opted for the Note 3 & I'm glad I did. Great battery life which is comparable with the G2, great screen size & awesome speed. I miss my G2 but would not swap back. I love the s-pen feature's of the Note. All in all I am very happy with my Note.
Sent from my SM-N9005 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I have owned both the G2 and the Note 3 and I believe the Note 3 is much better.
From my experience the Note 3 has better battery life and also the interface operates smoother on the Note 3.
The larger screen size on the Note 3 is a also a plus along with the micro SD card slot.
I've got both and I like LG G2 much more then Note 3! Unfortunately I can't sell my note as I paid £615 for it and will lose a lot of money. So I have to keep it.
Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
A family member of mine has the G2. Wouldnt swap my n9005 for it.
This phone is in a completely different league.
Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
Had both. Bought the g2 this past Sunday for my wife and I loved the phone and the light ui. Buttons and tap to wake are fantastic.
The only reason I exchanged it for the note 3 is because it reminded me to much of the s3 physically.
Both are fantastic phones, my wife loves gets and was very impressed with the battery life on both of hours
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
I am having both the phones g2 is in drawer after purchasing note 3 both the phone are good but I like over saturated colours of n3 spen and large screen estate might sell g2.
