May be a noob question, but isn't this a step back from the 0.89.20.0321 radio?

Different areas get better signal off old radios. So not a step back no.. I had stronger phone calls when on these. I'm running them now. You can pick which ones work better for you.

I've been having handoff issues between 3G and 4G lately, where it shows the 4G icon, but has no connectivity until I toggle airplane mode. I'm hoping this fixes it, as my wife's iPhone 5 and my co-worker's Droid Razr Maxx HD haven't had any issues!

I thought it was just me that was having this issue It has been doing on all Roms as well. Let us know it this helps:good:

Will do. I've done everything I can think of, short of getting a new SIM card. Even flashed back to stock, re-locked and s-on'd (that didn't last long!). Bittersweet to hear that someone else has the same issue!

Careful here!
I was prepping a ROM based on this dump, and forgot to take out the boot.img BIG MISTAKE!
Needless to say, my capacitive buttons are all borked up and I'll be headed back to AT&T this week... On the bright side, NTT Docamo didn't do anything screwy with the 4g icon, so it correctly displays H+/3G! As soon as I get my phone fixed / replaced I'll be able to finish what I started.

Unfortunately, I didn't get that far... hoping that the localization options are more than the Rogers ROMS offer. I'm trying to put together a stock ROM w/ REAL network indication, EN-US localization, tethering, screen off, reboot menu, stock boot animation. Nothing too fancy. Pretty sure this will be a good base. Will pick back up when I get my RMA!

Nope, just flash it
Flash it and use the App "GPS Status" to reload the agps data. That gives the best results.
My GPS I's not accurate anymore. It's about 250 yards off. It only gets precise with wifi. Is there a way to flash back to what I had? I'm in the U.S.
Sent from my HTC VLE_U using xda premium
You redownload the agps data Luke i wrote in the notice section in the first post? If you want to go back get the gps.conf from your Rom and copy it into system/etc. or if you haven't other mod reflash your Rom without wipe.

Sprint's been doing something to the tower closest to my house and I've been permaroamig at my house going on 3 weeks now. Sprint told me it might be a while before they fix the problem. I've been missing calls and they only go through when I force my phone to roam. It sucks because it only happens at my house. lol its happening to my dad's completelt stock shift too so I know its not an issue with my phone. Both of our phones work fine as soon as we switch towers.

Before updating your radios do this:
1) Update profile, reboot phone.
2) Update PRL, reboot phone.
3) If you are not using cellular radio 1.08.01.0111 here is the link:

Super Fast charge kernel

Hi guys, I am using vipertouch but its really slow at charging. So I was wondering if anyone knows or has a kernel which boost charging time.
Or if there is an app that can help, I would be happy to know abt it.

Just renamed zip to .bak and the prompting stopped.
I'm only rooted at this point with plans to s-off...so I'm not letting VzW slip one past this goalie...

Edit: I can't even get into the cache folder. Root explorer says I need to root to access the folder. How else can I stop the update?

Exactly! I remember people updating from MDK on the GS4 with reckless abandon.... what a mistake. Don't be that guy!

Haven't gotten the notification yet. I only rooted to get the stock Web browser back, but wouldn't mind keeping it on just in case. Doesn't look like a significant update.
Phone is still s-off after update.
I seem to have nothing in /cache
I am at the device level, went into cache and zero, can anyone re-direct me? is there a different parent folder and then cache?
