You could search for sd card data recovery software for Windows. Connect your sdcard to your pc then run the software, you should able to recover the deleted data.

Hi,
Anyone knows of an app that will allow me to recover my deleted photos, videos, music and other files on my HP Slate 7's internal memory using my PC? I have tried several android recovery tools however none of them seem to work. Tried Tenorshare Android Data Recovery, Wondershare Dr.Fone for Android and Recuva so far.
Your help is surely be appreciated for i need to recover important stuff. Thanks in advance.
I highly recommend that you try this android data recovery solution which helped me before

You can use it to recover lost photos videos data from any android phones.
I have Moto G XT 1034 and I accidentally deleted my photos. I tried to find recovery options but most of the recovery options require to root the device, now if I choose to root it I will first have to unlock bootloader which will wipe all my data and I will not be able to recover the deleted files.
Moto G does not connect to PC as USB mass storage and therefore some recovery software which I tried but cannot detect my phone's drive. I tried Recuva, EaseUS mobile recovery, Glary Undelete, Dr. Fone and Photo Recovery but none of them detect MTP/PTP connection.
Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks

The first line says "If you don't use the phone's internal SD storage - There is still a chance...."
My photos were stored as per phone's default location (Moto G again) so I am not sure what is that supposed to mean for me. If there are any chance for me can you please explain in some details ?
The more you use the phone, the more you reduce the chances of recovering the photos.
The internal storage partition (/sdcard/) is used by apps, as well as for storing downloads, music, photos and videos.
The photos can be recovered as long as they space they currently occupy has not been overwritten by new files.
about two weeks ago an app misbehaved and deleted all data on my moto g. I was very frustrated and disappointed. Only pc recovery softwares were useless because internal memory can not be mounted as mass storage in newer android versions. So i rooted my phone and tried undelete pro, hexamob recovery pro, diskdigger pro. But all these apps are bull****. None of them recovered a single kilobyte of my 12 gb memory which contained music, videos, photos, my apps and their data and my favourite ebooks. Before trying these apps i had read this article too which i found only working method http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...de-internal-memory-data-recovery-yes-t1994705
But i didn't try and tried those apps first. You should take a look. Btw i recovered from that pain of losing files and have new files now ☺

This sub-forum is for Moto G (1st Gen) only. However the information in this thread and links provided most likely still apply to your handset.
Hello!
I just changed my handset but I am unable to restore the chats in my new handset!
I have tried both the ways -
1.) Making a backup on google drive and then by using the same mobile no. & email id, tried to restore it on the new handset but of no use.. Initially, it displays - Recovering.. But, at the end it displays an error - Whatsapp couldn't recover any of your messages.
2.) Taking a local backup on the internal memory of my previous phone and copying that file onto the new phone's internal memory and then installing whatsapp. But, this method also didn't work. I get the same error - Whatsapp couldn't recover any of your messages.
I tried recovering on my friend's handset just for trial but the same error pops up, don't know what is the issue..
Pls. let me know the solution of recovering the messages as it's very important for me..
Thanks!
Hello, I have a Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) currently running Android 6.0.1. There were some photos which I deleted back in July, I want to recover them from the internal memory, however the storage is only 16 GB and most of the time it has remained almost full since then, also there are some whatsapp conversations, text messages, and whatsapp images and videos that I want to recover ever since I bought the phone, most of the images and videos were deleted immediately after I received them. Is there any way to recover all of this data? My phone is not rooted, if the process requires root and can be done, do let me know, thanks.

If you want to recover data on your android using recovery apps then you need rooted android.
You can recover data on PC without root by any data recovery software available.

Nearly impossible, because of your limited storage space, every time it writes something of your new photos or other data in the internal storage, it may be erasing something else that has been "deleted", so your deleted files have been overwritten and cannot be recovered.

Sorry to say that, but I don't think you can get the deleted data back as they are overwritten by your new adding data to a great extent. Generally speaking, you can recover the deleted data by data recovery software like Jihosoft Android Phone Recovery only when you just delete them in a very short time. Additionally, your phone need to be rooted so they can be found and recovered.
I have a new phone (Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite). I wanted to transfer my Whatsapp account to it. But I stupidly went ahead without making a Google Drive backup of my messages on my old phone (Motorola G5S).
Instead, I installed Whatsapp on the new phone, which, since it has my old sim card in it, recognised me and re-created all the Whatsapp groups.
BUT all chats were empty.
I have copied the msgstore.db.crypt14 file from my old phone's Whatsapp/Databases folder. I've transferred it to my new phone. But no luck.
Is there any way to recover my old Whatsapp data (at least the chats)?
There is recover software for deleted files on your phone.. unless you wrote more data over in your old phone it is likely that you can recover it.
Google for a trusted recover software for android.
It might be possible if you install whatapps on your old phone again and it might recover the chats on it's on..
But I would try first going over a recover software.
Sorry if I wasn't clear, I do not need to recover files. I have been able to copy the msgstore.db.crypt14 file from my old phone's Whatsapp/Databases folder. But transferring it to my new phone does not seem to work.

I read that but that encryption file is most likely tied to hardware identifiers of your old phone and I doubt you might be able to decrypt in your new phone.
So my recommendation still stands try to power up your old phone, recover the whatsapp files, copy these files to a folder on your pc, then install whatapps again on your old phone.. see if it recovers automatically if not, replace the recover files..
Then there should be a backup option natively in whatsapp and then do a migration..
That seems to me your best shot.
Thank you, I will try this and report back if it works.
It worked, thanks!
