hey xda fellows,
i have been searcing for any tutorial to edit my kitkat status bar as anroid L's feature ( tinted translucent ). I couldn't find any tutorial related to that. I have several questions for editing.
1. What apk and what files that i need to edit for tinted translucent status bar and what are the codes? I guess it may be systemui / statusbar.xml ?
I know there is a xposed module, but i wanna integrate those features to my custom rom.
I am using 4.4. KitKat mt6589 320dpi device.

as i say .. i want to know is there way to change my status bar cuz it looks too old ... i want to make it like samsung galaxy's u know like in the pic in attachments...
or to disaple my original one cuz i tried notification toggle and others but they all put the power widgets under the original of my device ....
any help plz ???

xposed has modules for that stuff, i forget what theryre called but i can look it up for you...

Thanks .. now I have problem if you know how to solve please....
The status bar has gone now .... the background turned to black ... and can't open recent apps ....
That's happened. Cuz I put a mod systemui.apk instead of my original ....
I really neef the original now or similar one

is that file in an update to the frimware ??
if its where i find it cuz i downloaded a frimware but cant find thr systemUI

you can flash a chinese stock firmware from that link, flashable via odin. i dont know what it has inside.
Edit the built.prop for customization tweak. Hope it will help.

I tell you: I was looking for a flashable .zip / apk / xposed module to add more toggles to my Xperia E statusbar like newest xperia devices. I found docomo statusbar but it didn't work (at least, for me)
Do you have it? If the answer is "yes", please, tell me how do you did it. My ROM is 11.3.A.2.33 OXED.

you need a deodex Rom as you need to switch systemui.apk

Help guys plz
You can not make your statusbar as lolipop on current rom... U need to flash a lolipop rom.. If u make your statusbar coloring use gravity box.

Can any1 do a 5.1.1 stock theme for 6.0.1 ? or to port the systemui ?
I will do my own themes, but I don't know what software to use. in 2.3.6 - 4.2.2 it was easy, only photoshop.. but now I don't know how to open those qmg files
So.. please help

[TOOL] Converter QMG/ASTC->PNG
Nevertheless, You know have Theme Store and you should use it.
Be welcome at my AllBacksBlack project (signature link). There are lots of posts guiding how to do it.
There is a Tool Set too (KATKit signature link) that will help you on the process.
