* Memory optimization
* Updated UI and Theme engine
* Themed notifications and toast messages
* Bug fixes and improvements
COMING SOON:- Xperia™ Small App Support
* Updated strings for translation

Differences
Love the app. Literally have been waiting for something like this (stupid non rotate instagram). Superbly designed app. Love the look and the layout. Works great and haven't had any issues.
I was wondering if you could clarify the differences of a couple of the choices. Between the two options Forced Auto Rotate and Forced Full Sensor and the two options Forced Landscape and Sensor Landscape (though I'm guessing understanding the first pair will explain the second). Not only the difference but maybe when you would choose one over the other. I didn't fully understand the description in the help section. Thanks.

Thanks for your review !!!
Forced Auto-Rotate:- Enable System Auto-Rotate settings in Non-rotating apps (like Instagram). Auto-rotating apps will have no effect.
Forced Full Sensor:- Enable 4 side rotation in all apps. Most of the apps rotates only in 3 sides, it will enable all 4 side rotation including Non-rotating apps.
Forced Landscape:- Force app to remain in landscape mode. It will remain only in one landscape orientation.
Sensor Landscape:- Sensor will work only in landscape orientation. Both landscape orientation works. For example, while watching videos if you flip device in landscape mode then, orientation will change.
Try it yourself to know more about its working !!!

Sensor portrait would be quite useful funtion.
For nexus 7 (or any tablet actually) users at least.
Great app.

I'm in the progress of translating the strings to Simplified Chinese (zh_CN). Not sure if anyone already started the task.

Awesome! Thanks for the clarification Pranav Pandy.

cool app, much more convenient than the xposed module app settings :good:
i've translated it into german
btw one line in original strings.xml seems wrong
<string name="restart_desc">Is app is not behaving properly? Tap to restart app and service (if running)</string>

Updated with a UTF-8 version.
Simplified Chinese translation updated.

Can you possibly release this on amazon appstore?
many thanks

Excellent. I like the floating icon option. Already purchased. i9505.

Bug Report
Great app, the best one Annoying issue with app that use rotation sensor "in app" like Whatsapp. Lock the rotation in Portrait mode, but doing a photo (in landscape from inside the app) then you can not use the sensor to send in the correct orientation. Please fix it. Thank you :victory::good:

I gave you a thanks for the effort and the reset ability and the price. With that said the settings and features seem complex to me for the functionality in question. This is further exacerbated by the color scheme which I find hard to read on my Note 3 at 320 dpi. Thanks again though!

Re: [APP][1.6+] Ubuntu Phone Experience
Nice!!
It still laggy sometimes and has some random fcs but its a good idea.
I recommend to add and option for the bar to show just the recents apps and not show that notification when service is running.

nice love ubuntoooo
Absolutely love this app, but sometimes it FC's or is unresponsive. Otherwise, really good slide animation and pretty good responsiveness when it works!
Hi there, so far its very fluid. Could you resize for ldpi phones please

Am I just thick or how do I get the option to choose what applications I want?
EDIT: Found it, am already on Maximum. Is OP the Dev or sharing?
very nice work Buddy, keep developing this as this would be loved by a lot of people around.
The app is genius, just missing : the ability to change apps size and start it from lockscreen. It's really smooth and fast on nexus s 4.2 no lags at all :highfive:

I see you got the idea from not only ubuntu but presumably TSF Shell as well It's really great and I'll definitely buy the full version when I see some basic features added.
Also I'd recommend added support to add shortcuts to your favorite webpages, folders of applications, add a task killer, and be able to customize the look and feel. This is reallly great though, I just gotta say 5 stars man!

I have the same problem.
It would only allow me to launch system applications such as "contacts" but now 3rd party apps... So I reinstalled it, even on a different ROM and now the icons don't even show up, the trey is just empty. Any thoughts? Then when I raise my finger to where the icons should be, it force closes. Thanks!

Woah, now that looks slick. Will give it a go!
Loving this. Been using since yesterday and I have two notes on it.
First, for some reason the blue notification bubbles that explain immersive mode (see screen shot) reappear every so often even though I select OK to acknowledge them.
Second, some way to indicate the swiping direction to unlock versus open the camera would be cool, even just a single arrow next to the "unlock" text. After a day I've become accustomed to it, but at first I kept opening the camera.
Other than that this is awesome.

1) Apparently there is no way to control this behavior. This is controlled by the new Android 4.4 "Immersive mode" that allows hiding the navbar. We don't know why it keeps showing up again yet. This may be a bug in the build, it's only supposed to show up once per app install.
2) That's a good idea. We will try to implement this.

This could be an interesting feature.
One other idea I had. I LOVE the notifications on this, but could you have it so you press to view and then you could swipe either direction to dismiss?

This its a basic feature, it is already in the apk.
Does it show the content of Whatsapp messages (even with 2 or more messages)?

As far as I'm aware you have to swipe to view a notification, and swipe the other way to dismiss it. I think press to view and swipe either way to dismiss would be more intuitive.

Falling in love with this lockscreen. My major complaint is that it apparently continues to close as I've had several instances throughout the day when it didn't open until I opened the app.
Is this being worked on? Also is there an option to open a custom app instead of just the camera?

Wow, that looks cool! Reminds me of iOS's lockscreen.
App is great and after five minutes I bought the pro version. But one problem for me. After unlock there's noticeable delay in showing the home screen. I see the full empty lockscreen wallpaper for some time before fully unlocking. And maybe the clock could be little lower since it's almost touching the clear status bar

This may be caused by a memory leak, we are on it. About the app shortcuts, we don't know how to implement this in a classy way yet.
Hello,
Really nice app.
I have the same problem as Gnaver on my Galaxy S4, it take quite some times after unlocking to display the homescreen.
Great lockscreen, but I would like to see music controls, and polish language (I can help in translating)

Nope, only the first message is displayed, if there are more than one then there's something like "whatsapp - 2 messages"

Playstore description :
Solid Launcher brings a new kind of home screen, which differs of other regular android AOSP based launchers. It has been written from scratch to fill the lack of "different" launchers in android world.
Solid is designed to be fast, intuitive, efficient and beautyful. Originally, Solid's design was inspired by Google Now design with cards and cities headers, but now more from the native and original Material Design. Solid is highly customizable; you can make it fully transparent or with colors automatically inspired from your wallpaper !
Main functionalities:
• Fling widgets: open a floating widget by just swipping on an app's icon
• Header panel: an advanced dock which can contain apps, shortcuts and widgets
• Custom applications transitions: customize transitions when opening/closing applications

good app
Good app. i have just download it.
and i find direct apk file for this app
https://apksfull.com/get/com.majeur.launcher/location/2/
Thanks !
I don't really understand this kind of website, i think it's not bad as long as my app is free. Is this kind of site dangerous ?
Is it possible to replace the starting widget? Also, could there be an auto detect feature for our location? Some cities can have multiple locations, say Dallas, but they're in different states and there's no way to differentiate between them as they show up as Dallas, United States instead of Texas or Colorado (or Wisconsin).
He shouldn't have posted that. The app should be downloaded from the Play Store only so the Dev can keep track of the number of downloads and issue that are reported.

You can disable defaut widget, it s called top panel.
Go to settings/top/top panel and switch the enable/disable switch. Then you can put any widget you want.
Cities are provided by universal yahoo weather api, so i cant really do something.
Auto location is not planned, but i' ll think about that for next updates.
Thanks for your feedback.

Notification count work depending on launchers and app which wants to display notification count.
To be brieve, for example facebook app wants to tell home that there is 3 notification unviewed.
Facebook app will check which launcher is set as default and use an adapted way (Broadcast or ContentProvider) to send notification count to it.
Facebook sends count only to current default launcher, and if launcher is unkown, it do nothing.
For now facebook support only aosp launcher, samsung, sony and htc.
So to receive notification count, solid launcher has to be supported by facebook ... And i don't think it will
A library exists to make job easier to developers, developers just sends unread count, and library take care of determinate which launcher is by default and way to notify it. I'll ask to library's developer to add solid launcher. But only few recent app will support this. In the future, all apps that will use this library will be supported by Solid Launcher !

That's awesome!
Another feature I would like it would be to be possible to add my own icons, I say this because I've bookmarked my company mail and added the icon on launcher, but it would be also nice to have the possibility to change the icon for something more "clean".
Either way is one of the most cleaned and diferent launchers I've tried (and I tried them all, or almost). Very good job specially for the new perspective of launchers

Troubleshooting - General
When I reply to a message directly from the notification, my keyboard darkens.
General -> More -> Prority fix
My space bar doesn't work as well anymore or I sometimes accidentally trigger actions.
Switch to "Enhanced mode". This can be done on the overview page.
Set "Keyboard adaption" (Behaviour -> Usability) to "click-permeable".
How to disable "Gesture Control is displaying over other apps" notification?

Troubleshooting - Navigation bar hider (1.1.9+)
I have a thin line at the edge of the display.
General-> Navigation bar hider -> Force complete hide
The navigation bar is visible in landscape mode.
General-> Navigation bar hider -> Navigation bar position -> Choose your position
I have uninstalled the app but the navigation bar is still hidden!
Execute “adb shell wm overscan reset”
My device has a notch and the navigation bar is not hidden correctly.
Please set the correct size once by yourself: General -> Navigation bar hider -> Other -> Custom size
Since one of the last updates (Android P) the navigation bar hider doesn't work anymore.
I'm working on a fix. If your device does not have Notch, the problem can be solved by deactivating the "Notch adaptation" (General -> Navigation bar hider -> Other). If the device has a notch, then the option "Custom Size" (see question one above) can be used.
How to add missing actions

Errors (if reproducible, please provide logs)

Of course there is a "back" option. I only forgot it in the enumeration. It is corrected.
Any suggestions on the best way to disable the navigation bar in order to utilize these instead? (Non rooted, but able to use ADB)

Since version 1.1.9.0 (beta) and 1.1.9.2 (stable) there is a built-in navigation bar hider.
I updated the post and the changelog again.
The new update 1.2.6.4 is online since today. Now also non beta users can export, import and share sensor bars. Since the import of sensor bars is not subject to any restrictions (all types, settings and actions possible), the function is currently only available in the donation version.
If someone has configured an especially great/functional sensor bar, he can send it to me or upload it here. I may also include special concepts as templates in future versions.
Fantastic app, thanks !
Are there any templates/bar samples available to download?
Sorry, I missed that there are new posts here

I only provide the ones that come with the app.
However, if users have created good templates, I will gladly link them in the start post. :good:
Hi,, great customization.. is it possible to add fluid animation for swipe gesture as feature request??

It already has a "fluid" animation, but it is a little small (linked to trigger area width?) and would be great if there were icons to identify the action being triggered (like fluidng and others).
I love this app & also have bought the premium license. But I can't find option to simple menu button (in MIUI navbar there is an option to swap between recent & menu button).
I'm sorry it takes me so long to answer. I have now activated the e-mail notifications. If you have any problems or suggestions and I don't answer here, please feel free to send me an e-mail to [email protected] at any time.

Yeah, you're right, there are apps with better animations. Unfortunately, it is not my special field, I prefer to develop functions that don't depend on the look. If I should have some free space, I will try to optimize it a bit.

As far as I know, there is no way to trigger the menu key without root privileges. Therefore the option is only available in the root actions.

@Pranav Pandey You might want to consider to "recruit" translators via this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2069390
@Pranav Pandey
First off, this is really great especially with the level of customisation.
A couple of suggestions if you could look into
1) Allow option to remove the tab below the header which shows how many calendars are selected (highlighted in yellow in the attached image)
2) Make the refresh tab at the bottom optional so number of calendar entries is maximised
3) Add an option to reduce the spacing between each event
Version 1.2.4
1.2.4
- Fixed declined events functionality.
- Updated app info to comply with family policies.
- Various bug fixes and design improvements.
Text customisation for widgets including color and size will be available soon in the future updates.

Header and Footer are there to support the rounded corners otherwise, events list will go off from the corners.
I am already analysing the various design possibilities and will do my best to improve it further.

A Note
When I started developing this app, my major goal was to create a simple calendar widget which would enhance the capability of your default Calendar, especially Google Calendar. Now, I have seen various comments and reviews like it is useless without Google Tasks. Please note that Everyday uses the default calendar provider for Android and it doesn't has support for Google Tasks. Even Google Calendar can't do that as it has a separate API which we can integrate in our apps to provide the required functionality.
As I am the only person responsible for all of my projects (most of them are free), it is very difficult to implement everything from the beginning. I am not completely discarding this functionality and I would love to implement it if there will be enough support in the future. Saying something useless is very easy but at least consider the time that I have invested here in creating the various ROMs and MODs.
Now, almost 60% (UI/UX) of the code used in my apps is open sourced on GitHub and you are free to play with it. This is not a challenge but it will give you some idea about the time and energy that I have invested in developing the apps like Everyday (and Rotation). Also, giving one star rating (without any review) on Google Play or writing hate comments will not be beneficial for anyone. If you really want to make things better, then please contact me via app or leave your feedback here.
I really appreciate the early adopters, translators and all other contributors for their support and I will do my best to make it better.
Thanks,
Pranav Pandey
Recently, I noticed that some of the Google apps have different (larger) font size for the dark theme. So, I decided to do an experiment and now...
