Version 24.7.1: full changelist here.
From Pale Moon's home page:
Pale Moon is an Open Source, Firefox-based web browser available for Microsoft Windows and Linux, focusing on efficiency and ease of use. Make sure to get the most out of your browser!
Pale Moon offers you a browsing experience in a browser completely built from its own source with carefully selected features and optimizations to maximize the browser's speed*, stability and user experience, while maintaining compatibility with thousands of Firefox extensions many have come to love and rely on.

Unfortunately, in the beginning, PM was only available for Windows.
Then it became available for Linux.
And now...this.
GOOD TO KNOW:
A version of Pale Moon recently showed up in Google Play. STAY AWAY FROM IT! It is not legit.
It is likely that either Palechild or I will upload the real thing at some point but in the meantime do not trust anything else in GPlay.
Note: I am Pale Moon's current Linux maintainer as you can verify here.
However, I would like to remind everyone that Moon Child is the person who spends so much time crafting Pale Moon and the work I am doing is negligible in comparison so all kudos should go to him!
THIS BUILD:
Now, there are several things you need to know about this build:
1. It may not work on your device :
I am using flags that are different but somewhat equivalent to Pale Moon's x86 flags: enabling NEON, vectorization, etc.
For instance Cortex-A9 devices may complain whereas Cortex-A8, Cortex-A15 and Krait-300 should be happy
2. See #1
3. See #2

Guess I lucked out, mega worked flawlessly for me. Good work on the browser. Improvement speedwise over firefox on my s5.
Seems nice and quick, and also works with Flash player, so that is a bonus.
Personally I would like a way to access my bookmarks, without having to create a new tab. This works the same way as it does in Firefox, and I am not a fan.
Great, I go to install on Linux too

Quote from Moonchild in that thread:
I honestly don't have time to go all-out on the mobile version, there is only so much one person can do, and the way Android is programmed is significantly different than desktop (it's java-based, uses XML, etc.). My personal focus will ALWAYS remain on the Windows version for desktop. That is what I have experience in, that is the biggest user base, that has the most weight for the entire Pale Moon project.
If you want to see changes to the PM/Android layout, want to improve on its presentation, or want a better reflow, you are most welcome to jump right in and submit patches. Yes you probably don't want to hear "patches welcome", but that is how it is, folks. I'm not a full-blown team in a single body, there are limits to what I can do.

I'm always up for trying new browsers but nearly always end up back with Dolphin.. if only for the fact it still has a customisable home page and Home button.
Call me a traditionalist but these are still must haves for me. I don't understand the reasoning behind the likes of FF and Chrome not having these.
That said, this being a custom development and n'all... whats the chances of these features being added to this ?
Dude your a beast thanks for the browser
WTF, someone has uploaded already on Google Play found it through searching it..
My favorite browser finaly avaliable for android
Anyway there are a few bugs
The tab button flickers sometimes
Random FCs only when web browsing
Usualy when i change app leaving PMB open

For some reason both of those downloads failed. The link you provided in quotes is also for version 4.0.1. I am very eager to try this!
Edit: Got them to download, loving the overall speed on this thing! I already uninstalled Dolphin Browser xD
The personas add-on is awesome! You have to navigate to the mozilla site to install them though.

So I still don't know why my Firefox mobile looks like a re-skinned Dolphin Browser and yours looks like it does OP. Is that an addon or perhaps a setting in preferences?
I've been a Firefox desktop user for years and have been anxious to try the mobile version, but there's still no support for ARMv6 processors, sadly. Anyone know if this is coming, or am I left in the dust until I upgrade next January?

No that is a completely different dev group. The dev group that made the project he posted is wp7android started by the red drake and others. BTW i would not recommend trying the one he posted anyways because half of the features are missing in it. Its not hard to become part of the beta group. All you have to do is go over to wp7android.com (better hurry though because we are changing sites) and donate to the paypal account linked to the page. After that just email your paypal confirmation code to mafteiu vlad (he is in the contacts) or just pm "The Red Drake" here on XDA. After this he will send you the apk's or the code to unrar them from the website. Once you have donated once you get all the apps/updates/rom(once its out)/etc. You do not have to donate much just a generous amount.

Well you are entitled to your own opinion.....but your opinion is wrong. You are basing your thoughts on betas and lite versions of the apps. Also, seeing as the projects are updated all the time, my guess is that you have not updated in a while meaning that you do not truly know how the project is now. If you would let me know what you thought sucked about it we could work to resolve those issues but frankly one troll saying "wp7android sucks" is not going to stop the project. Some real great stuff is in the works right now to make this a fantastic project. One thing (I can't release all the info but i can say a few things) is that we are currently working with amazon. We have their support (i can not go into detail about what they are supporting) and with what they have already and will be providing in the future, this could be a groundbreaking prject.
This is a horrible app probably the worst contacts app I have ever used! Coming from an actual WP7 device this is just terrible!

Well because most of our betas are close to release quality, but we are a very small group with limited resources, and hey we gotta make money somehow lol But you do not just pay to test beta, because you get the actual apps once they are released also. Plus if you go on our site and request apps to be themed/made we attempt to get a dev to do this for you. It truly is worth the money as you get 10 apps and a rom(once it is released).

XDA TV (Tablet Edition) v1.4
Now you can have all the XDA TV videos wherever you go using this application. At the time it's limited to tablets(since I got my Galaxy Tab last week and I wanted to play with some coding for it). I need people testing if this works and how it works on Honeycomb tablets(since I don't have one to test). If you were looking for the phone version, just click here.
I've been working on this for a week. Making the layout using HTML and CSS3 was easy, but I got a lot of problems while trying to make the code work on Android, so I took a bit more to match the code for Android. At the time I can't find another way to open up the videos without firing up the browser to redirect to the Video application, the OS has a lot of problems with HTML5 Video tag so I've done it like this.
The technologies used on this application:
PhoneGap
iScroll
jQuery
HTML5 and CSS3

The app looks great.
The ability to select text and sharing it seems to be rare in apps for pre-Honeycomb Android versions, so this may be a problem. This app will have limited functionality in those Android versions.

What is it?
Many of you have probably heard of the popular Google Dictionary extension for Google Chrome, which allows you to double click any word on a web page to view its definition. I have found this feature indispensable to my web browsing.
Of course, it's not possible to implement something like this in Android just yet, but this app tries to imitate its functionality. There's no need to open another dictionary app to find definitions anymore!
WordLookup allows you to view word definitions easily as you browse the web, and when using apps. It does require an Internet connection to work, however.
Simply hold&select the word you wish to look up, share it with WordLookup and a small notification popup will show a few definitions for the word! It's that simple!
Here's how to use it:
1- Hold and select the word you'd like to get the definitions.
2- Select the Share button in the menu/Action Bar.
3- Share text to WordLookup.
4- The definitions should show up in a bit as a popup(Toast) notification.
Supported Apps:
-ICS Android Browser
-Google Chrome
-ICS Gmail and Email app

Right now, this app is only tested on Android 4.0 - Ice Cream Sandwich, as many apps on earlier versions of Android do not support sharing text, your mileage may vary, though. Some parts of the program are still very rough, as this is still a beta.
Upcoming features includes offline dictionaries, and more!
Technical stuff in a nutshell:
This app gets the shared text via an intent and uses the Knicker library to fetch definitions from Wordnik (thanks to their nifty API). It then sends the definitions to a custom Toast pop-up, which is displayed on the bottom of the screen.

Dammnn, finally i dont need to copy paste the word anymore into some dictionnary web site
This looks like an awesome idea. Would it be possible to auto detect non-English words and auto-translate selected words using Google Translate? Thanks!

That is coming in a future version! Right now, it's mostly a proof-of-concept. Is the app working fine on your phone, however?
Can anyone with a Gingerbread, or previous version of Android confirm if this app works in these versions?
Thanks

Just released a new version on Google Play that should fix these crashes, as well as implementing the native Toast look, and other fixes. Let me know if it works well now!
Question, is it better to use a Toast notification, like now, or switch to a dialog box, which offers more optimization at the expense of more obtrusiveness?

It already exists! And thanks for the feedback there.
This is a cool idea, but it doesn't really function on my GB TB because the option to share text is limited (as you stated). Still, I'll be following this to see where it goes and I'll definitely give it a spin once I upgrade!
Keep up the work c:
-And a suggestion-
Do you think it would be possible to create an offline version as well and have the word lookups routed through a database in your app instead of online?
I know I'm connected to the internet via wifi and it won't connect... HTC thunderbolt on sfk almost sense 4.0/gingerbread. I could share it and everything though

Hey Meso,
Unfortunately, the limitations on GB seems to be a hard one and cannot be fixed unless the app developer(in the case of the browser, Google) updates it to add sharing, or possibly added into a ROM or something.
And an offline version are upcoming as well, once some flaws with the app gets nailed out. I'm also thinking of using Bing's traslation service to deliver translations in a future version, as well.

Hey,
That's weird, but I may know why, will try to fix it in the next update. I am rather busy these days so you will have to be patient
Meanwhile, try to go on wordnik.com via your phone. It may have been blocked for some reason. Let me know if it works or not.
Just released 0.1.2beta which includes a few buxfixes and also allows me to better identify problems(let me know if you still encounter the problem, Atamagaokashii)
Just released 0.1.5beta:
Changelog:
-Added a loading screen while definition is loading
-optimizations

Much better! Love it! I've been waiting for something like this for awhile. Is it possible in the next update to be able to choose or have options for where it.pulls a definition from?

I'll definitively look into it! The Wordnik API does support pulling from Wikitionary, Webster, etc. It's possible to set this from an option. Glad this app is useful for you!
Really nice icechen1, thank you! :good:

Since I didn't find anything, I developped my own app called CopySearch. I can't post link, but there is a thread presenting it on xda.
At the end, our 2 apps are totally different, which is fun:
same user needs + 2 different developpers = 2 apps that have nothing in common
keep going!

Hey!
I looked at your app and must I say, I do like the concept of it and the level of customization!
Cheers!
Very nice. Best I've seen so far. I like the UI and overall smoothness of the look up. Although it doesn't know what 'limbo' is

Yep, we understand. We're hoping to bridge that gap by reinterpreting mundane material in a more fun and interactive way.

Hi!
I apologise, but we can't post the APK here right now.
However, you can find it in the Google play store in two ways:
Go to the google play store and search for "Calculus Interactive App". It should be first app to surface. Look out for our logo, you can't miss it.
Build the url link like so: <google play store domain>/store/apps/details?id=air.com.neumediatechnologies.calculus
You will have to replace the <google play store domain> with the actual Google Play domain.
Get the FREE Lite Edition!

I'm personally in love with calculus and I'd really like to test this app. However, with the requirement of Adobe Air, I'm hesitant.

Hi!
Thank you for your expressed interest!
A little bit of history, this app was originally a POC project developed on the flash platform, hence the need for Adobe air to run on android.
However, with your continuous support, we will work towards developing native applications in the future.

I really like the idea and think the app is well done. It looks great on my 720p Note 2 screen.
Some suggestions:
1) the title area in each individual 'lesson' is rather big and I believe making it smaller might allow you more room to space out the calculations and other text of the lessons to make everything a bit more readable (hopefully this makes sense).
2) the end of the whole differentiation lesson/concept doesn't bring you back to the main menu or offer any options to go back or continue or anything (or maybe it is a problem that occurred on my phone)?
3) pressing the back button during a lesson or video closes the app, this is somewhat annoying since most other apps i use, bring you back to the previous 'page' or 'menu' or whatever.
One question I have is if you would be able to expand from general calculus to put in some content and how it might relate to business calculus/principles/ideas? This would be very useful for me since I have always struggled with math and have yet to pass the business calculus class...if you need any help with testing or what not let me know, I'd be glad to help!
hi there...
just wondering but is there any ETA on when the full versoin will become available? i'm quite in love with your app...and would love to get the full version.

well they only finished one of the topics shown so far, i imagine it will take a decent amount of more time.
looks great and would have probably bought the paid version but I boycott Adobe ... No Air or even PDF reader on my phones/tablets for me.
Sorry

Awesome concept! I also hope you steer away from Adobe Air. I don't mind Adobe, but Air is not high on my list.
Thanks!
