So with the refarm..can you clarify some things for me. An att phone will or won't get 4g hspa+42 on tmobile? If and when Tmobile gets LTE will an existing att 4glte phone will or won't work on tmobile future lte network?
If an att phone will get 4ghspa+42 and future tmobile 4glte
it would seem to make more sense to get an SIII unlocked att phone since it would future proof things in that it unlike a current tmobile version would eventually get 4glte?

I believe there are currently no att phones that get 4g on tmobile. I do think 1 or 2 tmobile phones that will work with att. Lte depend on the band of lte if it will work or not but most likely no

I'm using beans 5 rom on my verizon galaxy s3 we just switch to tmobile. when i put the sim i only get sms and calls but i can't get any 4g or any data speeds what should i do?

Sell or trade the phone and get a tmobile one. Other than that there is no way your getting tmobile data to work.
That isn't entirely true. I got 2G (edge) working on a Galaxy S3 from Verizon that has been switched to T-Mobile. Just trying to find a way to get it to pickup 3G/4G now.
You need a stock rooted or touch whiz Rom!

ok so i learned today that you can roam on the tmobile side of straight talk. With a ATT sim card and get data. how do we do this i read the thread about the aws band and tmobile radio and i read the recent unlock thread free method. if i put the tmobile modem on and unlock will i be able to achieve this?
the tmobile side gets way faster 3g than att ive noticed.

Hi, I am trying to figure out a way to force roaming on straight talk with a tmobile st sim to st att. The reason is I am using an at&t htc inspire, so I can only get edge, but I have noticed if I am in an area with no tmobile coverage, I get at&t hsdpa+ signal. Is there any way to keep my phone on this? Thanks!

Hi guys, so my mom has her gs3 on verizon and she bought a sim card for tmobile. We activated it and we get Edge data speed but nothing more. We live in a LTE area with great service but we just have edge. how do i get her data to LTE or HSPA+? Also when entering *#*#4696#*#* i dont get the option to change the LTE/CDMA radio like i use to
The vzw gs3 is not compatible with T-Mobile. Be glad you get edge
