Hi guys
This is my first attempt at guides. I recently purchased a Zest T1. and because it's a new device, it does not have proper root packages. So here is a guide for those with that device. This is a simple process.
==========================================
Disclaimer:
Although the methods used have worked for me, you will perform this at your own risk. I (or any affiliates) will not be held responsible for any damage and/or data loss incurred by this process.
===========================================
You will need the following:
* Your phone MUST be repartitioned with 20140714_e2101v82_zest (the method that Zest Mobile gave to repart the device)
* Your device cannot be encrypted. MTKDroidTools cannot read the system if your files are encrypted. If your device has been encrypted, remove the encryption to root. You can add it later.
* MtkDroidTools v2.5.3
* ADB (though MTK does have it packaged)
* SuperSU zip install (Found on chainfire's website) - on phone memory
The Process:
[If you have used debugging mode before, then you are ready to go, otherwise, please enable debugging mode in Developer Options]
1) Plug your phone in, make sure that your device is recognised
2) Open Command Prompt
3) Type in the following (this is environment dependant, but to be sure, navigate to where ADB is installed):
adb root
Click to collapse
This will restart ADB in root shell mode
4) Open MTKDroid Tools. It should recognise your device in root shell mode (green box in bottom right, if not, then repeat step 3)
5) Click on the tab 'root, backup, recovery' and select 'to use boot from phone' then click on 'recovery and boot' and shortly after a dialogue box will appear asking if you want to 'make cwm recovery automatically' click yes
6) reboot your phone in recovery (via MTKDroid tools or if you are prompted to via above step)
7) You will now be in CWM. Choose 'install zip from sdcard', and select the storage that you downloaded the file to (most commonly 'choose zip from internal sdcard, downloads)
8) Install the zip and reboot.
This is a very high-level overview. If you need more clarification on anything, let me know.

The supersu.zip file is flashed via the recovery and not via MTK Droid tools.

This process is to install CWM in order to flash SuperSU.
Place the SuperSU zip on your phone memory (or SD card, whatever works for you). If you have run steps 4-6, then reboot in recovery (either via MTKDroid tools, or adb reboot-recovery). If you have not run steps 4-6, start there.

CWM, or ClockWorkMod is the recovery part (amoung others) of your Android Device. This is where you "flash" zips to your phone. In step 5, you actually install this to your phone.
5) Click on the tab 'root, backup, recovery' and select 'to use boot from phone' then click on 'recovery and boot' and shortly after a dialogue box will appear asking if you want to 'make cwm recovery automatically' click yes

If you don't follow this step, the stock recovery won't be able to flash your device. Also, have you repartitioned your phone (with the Zest approved method)?

Will do. Just had a thought, could the phone being encrypted have something to do with the issue?

Procedure:

2. Enter CWM recovery by holding vol.down+power button during power off, release only when the "BURST" image appear.
(NOTE: If you don't have CWM yet go HERE.)
3. Wipe Data. (Important!)
4. Install the ROM from SD card.
5. Install RootStock for Root Access. (Optional)
6. Reboot and Enjoy Stock Rom.

First, you should be asking this question in same thread. it's easy and author is answering questions there.
Instructions are not difficult to follow. as you already have rooted and installed CWM. now you need to follow instructions how to install Custom ROM.
in simple, this procedure is to install Custom ROM.
1. Place the Unofficial Stock rom on your sd card.
-- download ROM and copy it to SD card.
2. Enter CWM recovery by holding vol.down+power button during power off, release only when the "BURST" image appear. (NOTE: If you don't have CWM yet go HERE.)
-- According to you, it's already done. so, just follow instructions to enter CWM.
3. Wipe Data. (Important!)
-- In CWM, there is option to wipe Data. do it.
4. Install the ROM from SD card.
-- Now, here you'll choose "Custom ROM" file you downloaded and copied to sd card. There is options “install zip from SD card” and then “choose zip from SD card”.
5. Install RootStock for Root Access. (Optional)
-- This is Optional and i'm not sure about it's purpose. so, skip this too for now.
6. Reboot and Enjoy Stock Rom.
-- i believe, when ROM installation will be done. it will show some message or so, that's all. "6. Reboot and Enjoy Stock Rom."

About debloater and RootStock for Root Access, i think they can be installed/flashed after ROM installation. That's all.
better ask same questions or copy this material to that thread to confirm what i understood and answered. make sure before you do anything. i have done such steps for other device than yours. but according to those instructions, i answered what i understood.
hope, it helped in understanding..

Should I back up first my current phone settings before selecting the Wipe Data? I can see in the CWM the option to back up and restore. Just want to make sure that none of my settings including my apps will get lost. Thank you.

It's ok, no problem. well, i really can't say much about your device type. there are tools to make backup of ROM other than CWM. For myself, i took backup with CWM and after flashing ROM i can restore back to last ROM with CWM backup. i also made backup with one other tool "SPflash tool" and it take full ROM/firmware backup. I'm not an expert, so not sure about difference between CWM backup or SPflash tools backup. but i made both.
according to my information, "SPflash tool" is for MTK chipset phone type. i don't know about your phone. i'll try to search on it. will try to update in case i'll find something.
Yes, for your other question about backing up other than CWM. it's always good to make better backup.
---------- Post added at 08:33 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:02 AM ----------
i tried to search little about your device and i didn't find much but on other hand, i can tell what i can do with CWM and it's Backup in short. i can restore back to stock ROM with CWM backup after installing Custom ROM. i didn't find about tools for your device. I think CWM is fine.
just do little search on CWM, don't be confused with my replies. for me, i'm satisfied with CWM backup coz i can restore back to stock anytime i change ROM. hope it helped.
successfully installed the ROM however found an error when trying to restore the back up that I've made using CWM. Perhaps it's my fault since I back up twice using CWM and deleted the 1st back up. Maybe the 1st one is part of the 2nd one and when I choose to restore then it prompts the MD5 error.
Now all my installed apps were gone

Problem of md5 mismatch, don’t worry this problem can be fixed, so don’t delete that backup.
As you mentioned that you have created backup twice, it means that those were two different backups. I hope you didn't deleted other backup. keep it safe. Reminder: keep backup in your computer too.
are you getting error like this? MD5 Mismatch !!!!

Again, don't worry and don't delete backup which is giving error. there are easy solutions for this. hope it works for you. read carefully instructions/guide from the link. check this link. in case you don't understand something, you are welcome. : )
Method 1 LINK: [Trick][Noob Friendly]How to fix md5 sum mismatch error in CWM easy n quick!!
Here, i'll try to make is short and easy for you. (but read, instructions from link too for more and better understanding.)
-- Remember, always save backup on your computer or other media.
1. Open File Explorer & navigate to clockworkmod backup folder you created on SDcard. There is file "nandroid.md5". Backup/save this file & then Delete it. Create New File & name is same as "nandroid.md5"(without quotes & no capital letter).
-- Do not edit new created file or any other file/folder.
Now try to restore the backup again. hopefully it will work fine.
(In case above method don't work, proceed to second method.)
Method 2:
Method from below link is Via "ADB". (Hope, you know it. Read carefully and then follow instructions, even they are not much complicated but always make sure you understand well before doing anything.)
LINK: FIX – How to recover from MD5 mismatch – CWM Backup / Nandroid Backup
In simple and short:
Remember, always save backup on your computer or other media.
-- Make sure you have Phone drivers installed.
-- you will need ADB Tools to run those commands.
-- Enable Developer option. (in case needed, i think it's necessary)
Now to commands:
Boot the device (Connect the device – via adb , not in media storage mode) and do the following in CMD / Terminal
Note: (Make sure when you open command prompt, path should be the folder of ADB tool files)
Ex:- our path is "C:\adb>".
Now here we'll enter commands (Do not use "#" in commands.):-
Code:
adb shell
# cd /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/2012-10-10.20.22.53
(Here 2012-10-10.20.22.53 is timestamp at which backup was generated, yours might be different! )
# rm nandroid.md5
# md5sum *img > nandroid.md5
info about commands:-
This command is to change directory/path to SDcard containing backup files.
# cd /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/2012-10-10.20.22.53
This command will remove old nandroid.md5 file.
# rm nandroid.md5
this command will generate new md5sum file with same name as the old one.
# md5sum *img > nandroid.md5
Hope it work for you & never panic or give up.

Just for the record :
I was not able to connect the device to the tool even though all the drivers were installed and everything. So what I did was, I opened iRoot and let it connect to the device and waited till the (device is rooted screen) appeared. Then I re-opened the MTKDroid software and it worked afterwards.
Yes, I took full backup and it is working. Haven't tried to restore it but atleast it takes full backup and looks legitimate :good:

I gave the root permission for mtk droid tools on my mobile. When I open SuperSU in my honor holly it shows that adb has been granted supersu permission. But still the mtk tool is showing the same error again and again . I have tried it many times. I have micromax doodle 3, it works fine there but is showing this error in honor holly.
Bro I would also like to ask one more question. My phone gets heated up near the camera at the back when I play games and watch videos. Is there any solution for it. Please do reply. Thanks in advance.

DISCONTINUED - Left for research and archive purposes.
After much hardwork @codelover and I are pleased to release both stock rom as well as TWRP 2.8.6.0
for the 2 known variants v31 and v38. Please make sure you download and flash for your specific variant. Check faq if you do not know which variant you have.
REQUIRED FOR BOTH VARIANTS:
Windows XP/Vista/7/8/8.1/10TP 32bit or 64bit
SPFT (Windows Version) “linux version coming soon”
Correct Scatter File
Preloader Drivers (if you do not know how to install manually go here)
ADB
A Brain
Usage:
For flashing either pre-rooted Rom and/or TWRP you will need spft+scatter file. It is imperative that you make sure that if you got a v31 you only uses v31 files not v38. Same for the v38 users only use v38 files. You have been warned.

Click to collapse
Flashing Rom:
Make sure
Run the file flash_tool.exe
Click on scatter-loading and select your MT8127_Android_scatter_RCA_Vx.txt file
Make sure all listed files are checked and if any isn't double click on it and select the appropriate file
Leave settings as Download Only “if working tab Format All + Download "if wont boot' then hit the Download button
Make sure your tablet is completely switched off then connect it to your PC and the flashing process will commence immediately.
Once it's done, you'll see the tick sign below and that's all. Reboot your device and setup your device afresh.

Question: How do I know which variant I have?
Ansere:
Method #1
From a booted android, goto Settings > About > Build number
You should see something like this.
RCT6773W22-ANDROID4.4.2-3101-V38-V1.8.0
Method #2 (Better & more accurate)
For this your device must be rooted & already have USB Debugging Mode enabled.
Make sure adb.exe has been installed on your system (computer).
Execute the following adb command:
Code:
adb shell
su
cat /proc/cmdline
then search for ‘lcm’ text in the output:
If lcm=cpt_clap070wp03xg_lvds < you need to use v31 files
If lcm=1-lxjc070whm270_18a_rgb < you need to use v38 files
Question: What if I dont remember which variant I have and can’t access adb?
Ansere: If this is the case we will need to use SP Flash Tool to help identify your variant.
Open SF Flash Tool, load V38 scatter and switch to ‘Read Back’ tab. Clear all then click Add,
Click the new item & change the output file name from ROM_0 to ROM.txt,
edit the readback address as below:
Start Address: 0x9000000 / Length: 0x1000
Then press “Read back” button, now connect the tab while powered off.
When it’s done, open the file with wordpad and check if you have “ANDROID” at the beginning of the file, if your answer is yes then you have V38, otherwise use V31.

I can't say as to why but you do need the self education one can learn about how to use spflash tool,, seeing as that's the way that I know that's the first info I could offer ,,, you should get your version information first, then download your ROM because the scatter file that had reports of best results are in the full firmware, and you then need to know that the reset button will bring up a driver install but it happens fast to catch this you need the device manager in windows open, plug the rct in then press reset with a tothpick or other small pin ect,, the device shows up with a sound chimes on windows, right click the new device in the USB group and install using the hosted driver,,, now to the spflash tool its self load the scatter in the full ROM related to the vershion you have and then only check recovery,,, and find the twrp.IMG in you downloads and use only the download option in the spflashtools,, and click download then Right after hit reset on the back of the tablet,,, it can be done ,,,, even for the new people wanting to learn,,, regarding the twrp, installer.exe I linked to, I have no knowledge it was only reported to be a full success by another user before you so I wanted to offer a fast way for others to find it ,, so I linked to the .exe,,, and lastly ON MY TABLET I HAVE TO BE ON A CHARGER TO LAUNCH RECOVERY AT BOOT USING VOLUME KEY,..and you can download a root reboot apk that will boot from inside android directly into recovery,, maybe I helped,,,, p.s. another great thing the full ROM offers is the original OEM recovery.. Pleas do try to learn. As always i do wish every one the best

Vodafone Smart first 6* NL *(EU) Rooting and More!
Done & Closed! After a wild chase finding the correct tools and apk's this took me 2 days to complete an fully rooted and Simlock free Vodafone branded Smart Firt 6.
Most of the files can be downloaded from below here on XDADISCLAIMER:
Rooting your phone and using custom Recoveries and ROM's have risks and may Void your warranty and can result in bricking your device, and has nothing to do with Google or the device manufacturers. In case of any mishap I am not responsible if you brick/ruin your phone in any way.
Basic computer skills are required and minimal knowledge about the phone and phone utilities also.
Make sure that whatever you do, you are doing it at your own responsibility.
It may be that you get an *softbrick *(bootloop) because Vodafone still pushing update's for their Firmware patching and upgrading the software!
To be safe please use methods given by: Androrooter and or Kirito9 !
#Rooting:
1# Download the root.apk onto your phone or SD card and install.
2# Now start the app and you will see it's all in Chinese, just click on the Root Shield Badge ontop of the screen.
3# Let it do its magic installing the scripts most likely it will auto reboot your phone without rooting it,
you must restart the root app again and click on the Badge (like done at step 2#).
~Now you are Rooted but the Superuser is Chinese and what i have noticed it's a temporary Root, if you lose root again just redo step 2#!
4# Download and install SuperSu-2.46 now launch an root app most likely the Chinese app will popup granting
for root permission, you must click on the colored (grant) button to accept.
5# Download an Root browser i.e. File Manager and let it gain Root permission, if SuperSu wont ask for Root it's now save to uninstall the Chinese app.
~From now on you permanently Rooted, don't go installing/modding stuff yet until you made an systems backup!
#Twrp or Cwm Recovery (PC version):
1# Download ADB Driver and install on PC. Download from here; http://www.datafilehost.com/d/2267ab98
2# Download TWRP Setup (thanks to Dees_Troy & Yuweng) and unzip on your PC.
3# Activate USB debugging under developer mode* and connect with USB to your PC.
(done by *tapping 7 times on the build number in the about phone section)
3a# Open the Twrp setup.exe and click on the next button.
3b# Just wait till the installation is completed followed by credits.
3c# On the next window, click on yes to proceed.
3d# Select Start Easy Magic TWRP Installer for MediaTek and click on ok
3e# Click on Yes to auto port.
3f# Now make sure your phone is connected, adb driver installed and usb debugging enabled, then click on OK.
~if you get any pop up msg on your phone screen just click on yes.
Just wait for a few seconds while the setup is been completed,
if the process was successful, your phone should automatically reboot into recovery.
~Now you need to make an full backup with Twrp so that all the files are safe!

Kingroot 4.8 worked, so I ran the TWRP Setup and guess what another way to ruin the phone even further. Stuck in a boot loop now.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUYS GUIDE! It will most likely break your phone from start to finish!
Please provide a reset copy of your system.img and recovery.img for people who have lost their phones due to this guide, it would be very useful as the devices can be restored if adb / fastboot access can be achieved.

Well well QuantumRevenger,
Sorry to hear that this method didn't worked out nicely for you.
Maybe your firmware got upgraded and the recovery didn't stick?!
Did you try the combination Power + Vol Up while the phone is off and enter
the Recovery menu clear Cache + Dalvik after this reboot.
I can't help you with the systems files because i ditched the vodafone firmware for Vanilla 4.4.2 Android.
The only thing i can do for you is point to this thread where i moved towards myself-> MTK devices
Here you will learn an little how your MTK device works, also you can search XDA for an different Easy Magic TWRP or CTR or even Philz!

Hello RHodgett,
It most likely would work because this model bought by Vodafone for their (EU) market.
As we all know it's a cheap china phone suited for Vodafone requirements!
~Not speaking for the firmware updates they push once an while~
But rooting can be done very easy with the given root from my post or even now with the updated
Kingroot 4.8 said by QuantumRevenger. And like for the custom recovery it can get tricky mentioned by QuantumRevenger, i had no problem with this at that moment.
But i urge you to read my answer to QuantumRevenger problem from above, after that you can decide at your own risk.
Enjoy
&
Good Luck!
Thanks, I'll give this a go when the handset arrives in a few days and report back.
Can you explain how to then install the Vanilla 4.4.2 Android firmware? (or any other suitable stock firmware for the device)

No Problem & you're welcome!,
For flashing roms you need an custom recovery otherwise you can't Flash.
Nobody here is tailoring for our Vodafone branded(China) smart first 6 so you have to go where i send QuantumRevenger towards and where i am. (See post answering QuantumRevenger).
Here you can use the roms and learn more about our MTK devices in general.
For flashing roms you must install in the recovery as an zip file and then you're done!
MTK has other methodes to install but that's for advance users only.
Enjoy
&
Goodluck.
Hi, I've root using the Chinese apk and root checker says the device is rooted but I wasn't able to install SuperSU 2.46, it keeps saying the binaries need to be updated and it fails every time I update.
Rebooting using the TWRP setup just shows the Powered by android splash. I'm not sure what to do now?
Edit: Ok I've flashed a recovery from the threads you linked, finally got a bootloader working. Now to flash a ROM Got CM12.1 running, thanks!
DID not work for me
So I followed all the steps and everything seemed to work fine. The TWRP software said it was going to reboot into recovery but it is stuck at the android logo screen.
When I hold power button + up key its the same, stuck at the android screen.
When I hold power button + down key it boots into vodafone android.
I'm kind of stuck to what to do now (sorry I am really new to this)?

Darn that's a bummer! It worked for me and had everything running xposed, SuperSu etc. :/
Try another Magic installer use CWM or Phillz, they can be found here or via google.
So weird i bet Vodafone did a firmware push on there bootloader or not all EU firmwares are the same(dat would be pretty nonlogical).
Sorry for the troubles please try the above solution and report back if that fixed it.
Goodluck!

The root is an normal APK there are only two zip files here; the TWRP and the SuperSu.
TWRP.zip is an magic installer for your PC with the given USB drivers and Debuging turned on(See my guide).
Now SuperSu.zip can only be installed via an custom recovery like TWRP.
I'm noticing you're trying to flash without an
custom recovery?, that's an no go.
1# Root with given or Kingroot 4.8.
2# Install custom recovery TWRP, CWM or Phillz (Must be an magic installer version via PC) all these versions can be found on Xda.
3# Flash SuperSu via custom recovery and replace the first installed Root!
That's all there is to it, no deeper layers on how-to install.

OK got it. THe only way I could get the APK into my phone is via the phones own browser from this site. I could only move from my pc as a ZIP file only. Hence could not install. But now its done. I think I am rooted now. Root checker still says not rooted, but I can use ES file explorer and have managed to remove a few app. Does this mean it is Rooted?
Can I remove the Rooting apk from the phone now without any adverse impact?
I have also managed to load the TWRP on the SD card. IF I want to Flash a rom, how do I go about it? Can you link and stable ROM which I can use? Need a small tutorial.
AND very many mahy thanks for your support on here and input.

Okay Onlydongles,
I don't think you have Root (yet!), Es browser has an side menu.
Here you must scroll down and select Root Explorer, that's the real test if you got Rooted!
If not install Kingroot 4.8 via your phone browser.
For ROMs you have to go where I send everybody towards ->MTK Devices (link given in answers above).
Flashing ROMs is easy done by custom recovery select the downloaded ROM zip and flash with the given creator instructions B).

Hello mates! What a heck of a problem rooting this fancy brick, right? Not anymore ! The guides available in here are very confusing and lack of simple information. I'm just trying to help.
Special thanks goes to sumec100 who made me into the first steps of this process.
Rooting the Brick
*What will you need in a first moment:
- SDK MANAGER AND PLATAFORM TOOLS ONLY https://developer.android.com/studio/index.html#downloads *end of the page, 132mb archive* (Plataform-tools is attached in case you can't find it)
- SuperSU: https://mega.nz/#!t2wGDbhL!H07JxlbmLH2tFQD7Frx2BKlJp0AyDthXkbEj6sw4z08 (this one worked out) (Leave it in your SD Card before start the process)
- TWRP ported by Jemmini from 4pda and translated to English by TuksOID. : https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Uwkl_2vqHfXkbLGmF-gKbs63UxVKmw_T
- ADB Driver Installer: http://adbdriver.com/downloads/
- ARMOR 2 Latest Drivers: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B8NC4kBpjQhYdDNhdzdUdTRsRFE&usp=sharing
0) Go into your Ulefone Armor 2.
Settings >About phone > Tap ''build number'' 8 times until you see ''now you are a developer''.
Developer options> OEM unlocking (yes) >USB Debugging (Yes)
After all drivers are installed in Driver_Auto_Installer you downloaded from ulefone.com keep ADB Driver Installer open and plug in your phone on your PC. It will auto detects your MediaTek device. Just click ''Install'' wait until it finishes and close it. Now you are properly connected to your phone.
1) Open ''cmd.exe'' as an administrator.
Type: cd (path you unziped plataform-tools inside SDK tools folder) kind of looking like this: ''X:YOUR PATH\tools\platform-tools''
Put the recovery image you downloaded (I suggest you to rename it as ''recovery'') in ''plataform-tools''
2) Back to the cmd in the way you leaved it do it:
adb reboot bootloader Press Enter. The phone will reboot in fastboot mode. (I suppose you did not shut it down, please don't)
fastboot flashing unlock Press Enter. The phone will prompt you. Read the content of the text if you want. To keep going press ''Volume Up'' DO NOT INTERRUPT THIS PROCESS
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img Press Enter. Now the TWRP will be flashed. Note that I used ''recovery'' as file name.
After the successful flash:
fastboot boot recovery.img Press Enter. TWRP will now start.
3) Unplug your phone.
Your TWRP will show a ''Enter Code'' prompt since your device stills encrypted. Press ''Cancel''
Drag the bar to allow modifications;
Press ''Wipe'' in the main menu;
Drag the bar to do a Factory Reset (THIS IS NOT OPTIONAL);
Press ''Install'';
Select the SuperSU file you downloaded in the above. (I hope you copied it in your SDCard. If you did not, You can plug your phone in your PC, mount your Storage via TWRP, copy the zip file and keep going);
Drag the bar to flash SuperSU zip file (DO NOT select any parameters)
Press ''Wipe Dalvik/Cache''
Press ''Reboot System''
Wait for it.
If you had a successful boot, now your device is rooted. Cheers !
Did your device don't boot in 15 minutes? I'm quite sure you messed up but keep calm, don't panic!
Unbricking the brick
*What will you need:
SPFlashtool: https://spflashtools.com/windows/sp-flash-tool-v5-1728
Latest Ulefone Armor 2 ROM: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B8NC4kBpjQhYdEJTdTdpazVGQjg
The software is quite of auto-explained. Please, Do not use the Ulefone's SPFlashtool, use the one I provided. (I DID NOT CREATE IT)
Shut off your phone
In SPFlashtool set the ''scatter-loading file'' inside the ROM zip, Click ''choose'' and locate it.
Keep it ''Download Only''
Click ''Download'', SPFlashtool will be waiting for your device. (REMEMBER YOU NEED THE DRIVERS I QUOTED ABOVE FOR ALL PROCESSES)
Plug your phone.
Wait until SPFlashtool say it is finished.
[*]After that your phone is brand new. If you want to try again just go up and follow all steps again (Correcting mistakes, of course)
Known Issues
-Latest Magisk is not working with our Stock ROM. It bootloops.
-Latest Nougat Xposed Module Bootloops our phone too.
Any doubts or corrections please, say it !

Hi,
Thank you for your work
but I could not find the platform tools 132mb archive in the link you provided.
The only download link close to 132mb is the 149mb I found.
Is this the file you were referring to?

That's right ! Inside this zip and inside sdk tools folder it should be a plataform-tools folder. If not, tell me !

The download doesn't contain the platform tools anymore. They have been moved into an extra download:
developer.android.com/studio/releases/platform-tools
Funny thing: I can't quote links because of new account oO

Hi,
I have flashed successful the latest Ulefone Armor 2 Firmware from their site h**p://ulefone.com/download/armor2.html
Then I did all the necessary steps to root the phone. But when I first time start the SuperSU app, get a popup message "SuperSU needs to update"
and hit "OK". After a while get this failure:
"SU Update unsuccessful"
Regards...
After install SuperSu and press "Reboot System", my phone keeps booting into TWRP.
Can someone help me?

Fixed. I restored my original ROM using this this tutorial: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=74294320&postcount=31
Now, Super SU is installed but is asking for update.
Hi all,
I managed to root my Armor 2 but after that I cannot install Netflix from Play Store. It says that device is not compatible.
Does anyone know if the app is restricted to rooted devices?
Thanks in advance
flashed the wrong recovery now stuck ( I used "one click" program )
phone constantly restarts and gives the following error
"
orange
state your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted your device
will boot in 5 seconds
"
the following video is someone else who has the same problem as me
( I didn't have a camera, so I used another video)
I can't do "fastboot and recovery" in any way. Always gives me this error

The best way to root armor 2
1) copy boot-verified.img from firmware folder to internal
2) install magisk
3) download any update in magisk
4) press install and select "select and patch a file"
5)select boot-verified. Img
6)after operation comlate copy magisk-patch. Img file in download folder to pc
7)flash it with sp flash tool
