Yes it should. However, I've not tried but the flashing of root package roots the Phone regardless of version.

so is it safe to flash phone running on Android 4.4.4 with custom recovery of 4.4.2 ??. Sorry it may sound dumb question but I'm confused. please explain

Yes it is. Its a small difference in firmware.

Thanks mate... One final question.. If I flash with custom recovery 4.4.2 on my phone ( currently 4.4.4 is running).. After flashing, my phone will be running on 4.4.4 or 4.4.2 ?
Sent from my XT1033 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

It will be running 4.4.4. Recovery has no matter with firmware.

Just boot into fastboot (power and volume down key) and it will give you your boot loader status in the first or second line

Obviously he is right. But if no one dev is working to this 'exploit' ...
Some devs together shoul be work on it but for now nothing.

[Q] Will all ROM's supported XT1032 support XT1033 changed to XT1032

Can anyone tell me that if I change my XT1033 to XT1032 will the ROM's like Paranoid, etc. which are suppoted by XT1032 but not by XT1033 variant will run on my moto g (XT1033 changed to XT1032) ?
if you simple convert your phone to XT1032 by flashing a GB or US firmware then it wont work.. those roms will give you force close and other problems...
you have to flash GPE firmware to convert your moto g XT1033 to XT1032..then you can use those roms with no problem...

I can confirm this. no other way BUT flashing GPE and losing personal data like camera pictures UNLESS you backup beforehand. (I tried out flashing GB firmware/radio)

Why cripple an xt1033?
If you're looking for a ROM that supports your dualsim model and is stable enough to use as a daily driver, try this.

One poster reported he got a bootloop. Not typical. Many have used it (or the base nightly) daily for months now with no issues...
If you try it, post your experience in the thread.

Your most likely going to first need to downgrade back to lollipop before you'll be able to root.

Thanks for your answer.
I was sure I have to do that. Is there somewhere a clear procedure to do that ? I mean (link to rom + some explanations).
Thanks in advance.

As far as I have seen in the forums the flex 2 is rootable only in lollipop by flashing a rooted Rom. so far the MM roms have not been successfully rooted.

Thanks a lot. I am going to test that.
For later, is there somewhere i can find official Lollipop (non-rooted) and MM roms.
Thanks again

Unfortunately, it doesn't work. I waited for more than 15 minutes and nothing happens. So i reboot the phone (hold vol. down and power together). And no-youpi, it was still my non-rooted android 6 installed...
I do not know how and what to do now.... Let's look for !!!
There is hope to root locked bootloader LG, if anyone has the capability to study these.

Yes, I know that. From what I read in his second post, he wants a way to root his phone, knowing that he has to downgrade to lollipop. So I gave him a way to downgrade to lollipop and to root it.

No because these methods need a debug bootloader and debug kernel from a debug phone..
I wonder i g flex 2 has a debug phone.. that also if possible of att h950...

DirtySanta is exclusive to v20 only I guess..
But we can extract a system img using dd from download mode and decompress it... Add mods and repack it and flash..
All aslongas super user binaries aren't added... You can put any mods.. sad no one has done it yet and i am on h950 so no MM
