It sounds like you have a bad DL ( Download ) . Or a bad Flash. I would suggest reflashing the Rom. Check out THIS GUIDE on how to Flash a Rom. You should also be sure to check the MD5 checksum of the Zip before flashing. There is a tutorial, with the tool HERE.

Do you have the Stock ROM for GB 2.3.6 (SkyRocket) which i can flash using TWRP? My PC doesn't recognize my Skyrocket. The only way for me is to flash using TWRP but I can't find the GB ROM for it. There's a lot of ROM of GB but it is for ODIN (with extension .tar.md5) instead.

Flash Stock Rom Android Marshmallow using TWRP is it possible using this method ,

invalid zip
I am a mac user without access to a PC (no odin). I have TWRP recovery installed. I used android file transfer to move the stock firmware zip in the download section to the internal SD (root folder). I wiped the system and cache, then install zip - but it fails every time with "invalid zip file format". I have tried a half dozen other versions of the stock ROM from various sources and they all fail with the same error. ZIP signature verification is disabled. Just when I thought that i was doing something completely dumb and not flashing correctly at all - I tried re-flashing the lineageOS ROM i have and that worked fine. I've read a bit about unpacking and re-zipping these zips to get them to work, but that requires 7zip (which I don't have on mac). Help! am I doing something dumb or do I not have the correct zip files? I really need to get back to stock so I can activate my cellular service.

Sorry,
where can i find Mobile Odin 3.57 version ?
Will this fix work for Htc Explorer???
Im having the worst trouble downloading cm10 through recovery on my tab 2. I come up with this status 7 as well.. i have confirmed root, supersu working, and cwm recovery 6 works.
when i downloaded the mobile odin PRO and open it it says my device is not compatible and asks if i want it to dump some sort of file to possibly make it work? i let that do its thing and after finished it still doesnt open.. What should my next step be?
Where can I get the update zip??

Root SM-G361F / NOT PRE-ROOTED FIRMWARES

I found this method while messing around and found it actually works!
So you want to download this TWRP provided, and although it says 'sm-g361h' it will work for 361f
Instructions:
1. Download odin and connect phone.
2. In the AP file put the twrp tar file
3. Once installed transfer the update.zip to your sd card.
4. Reboot into TWRP and flash update.zip
Done! You are completed.
Sorry that this might not be the best looking thread.
does this actually work to install TWRP on the 316F ?
no download link ?
I have tried all the possible methods, and I have not yet managed to complete the root on the aforementioned phone. why is it so hard?

Hi
Try downloading your firmware from sammobile.com based on your country code and flash it with Odin while your phone in Download Mode, in Odin, check f.reset time and auto reboot, don't check any thing else.
The firmwares link:
https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/sm-n7505/SM-N7505/
SAM MOBILES FILE FAILED BUT "Galaxy-Note-3-Neo-SM-N7505-Full-Factory-rom-4.4.2.zip "
The file from sammobile (dot-com) did NOT FIX the issue of my note3 neo sm-n750; but with the old file, i tired before, ( "Galaxy-Note-3-Neo-SM-N7505-Full-Factory-rom-4.4.2.zip" from filehost(dot)com fixed the issue.
Why i failed before with the same file?
Actually i copied the "...full-factory ROM.. .zip" into an sd card and tried to 'install from the external sources' option in phone's recovery.
why?
As you know, the Odin only allow .tar,.md5,.smd .gz, .tgz formats; NOT ZIP file. I thought the recovery program can extract the zip file from the external SD card and do the rest . So i didn't try to extract it manually.
The zip file from sammobile contains only one md5 file. I tried it with odin's AP button and executed but failed with some error messages.
So I extracted "...full-factory ROM.. .zip file" (once i left), and I got AP, BL, CP, CSC files. then I selected and executed each file with ODIN's desired buttons and It gave my SM-N7505 a new life.
Anyway, Thank you very much dear Mr.MigoMujahid for spending time to help me
God Bless you

Hi Mr-Shihab
To flash a zip with recovery, then it has to be a flashable zip, it should be built in a specific way so the recovery can work with it, and the zip you have is a normal compressed files, so it can't be flashed at all with recovery, also note that the zip you downloaded from sammobile might be corruptedly downloaded, because sammobile offer a clean roms, anyway, you can also use samsung-firmware.org, it's a trusted site as well.
Ps: that md5 file you got works the same as the 4 files you downloaded after.
God bless you too
Had the same issue with a note 3 neo once, completely bricked it and couldn't flash stock firmware. Went to odin recovery mode as it is called (or something like that) and just put in some information found once you take the battery out and it did its thing and bam it is working.

There is a recovery mode (not the one where you flash your roms and replace with twrp) in kies (my bad for not saying that) that reflashes the whole phone, you could literally erase the recovery or the kernel and you'd still be able to recover it which you can check out here

Cant flash stock rom with twrp

Hey I am trying to flash a Samsung j3 stock rom using twrp but still no success
It keeps saying
skipping md5 check: no md5 file found
invalid file format
Error installing zip file
I have downloaded the rom file from over 10 sites and still the same error
Please help
