Hi there
apologies if I've posted in the wrong forum
I'm interested to know how to develop a app like ShowBox.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Mark
What type of app is ShowBox and what does it do? I can't find it on the Play Store.

It's a free tv and movies streaming app you'll have to google it and download it that way.
This should point you to a direction that you're looking for - http://stackoverflow.com/questions/14262094/android-is-there-a-way-to-stream-video-on-a-app

I am also more than happy to pay for this help.
Can anyone help me find the best way/site to download movies that I can play while on a plane with no wifi connection? Thanks!
The new android market or itunes maybe....

yeah I did see that as an option, but wasn't sure if the movies on the android market were available offline once they were downloaded. I'm hoping someone has used this method and can shed some light on it. Thanks for the tip.

I so use to going on the Market app that I forgot sometimes you need to go to the amazon app store to find what you are looking for. i found the Flixster app in there
You could also try this : http://www.amazon.com/Fandango-Inc-Movies-Times-Tickets/dp/B004I125GO/

I use Flixter all the time. Especially love to watch trailer and show newly released DVDs.

Best to check this thread: Movies, Live TV and Shows on your Nexus Player by ink-red-ible
If you still have questions about movie/tv apps on your device, please ask in this thread directly, or in the Nexus Player Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.
I've tried all the possible media players, codec not available. The video is a private video given which I cant use anymore because the media player was restricted to function only till a particular date.
The file extension is .mp4 but it does not play in any of the regular players..rather any available in the market..
Does anyone know how to make this work?
