Hi
I just got my Ramos i8 tablet running android 4.2.2 and everything's works great
BUT
I can't seem to find the contact app. Not such a big deal in itself 'cause there's plenty of nice contact apps and I installed a few of them.
The problem is that I can't sync with my google account.
Any clues how to fix that ?

Basically I'm looking for any roots that won't brick my phone when I get it, if anyone knows about this phone and if it has any rooted ROMS please shove a message in this thread. It's a MTK6577 I believe.

I just bought this phone, it looks like star s7100 and have the same spec. The box is almost the same... i too finding for root and custom rom for this... hope someone will find out how to do it tho.

Well, got one as well and looking for solution how to root
Why it's not rooted like the atv520 was from factory is beyond me.
Also disappointed that the included xbmc version is not optimised, they just installed Gotham v13 alpha7
Only positive is that is not loaded with bloatware
just recieved my atv580 and was upset and surpised that isnt root. And it not support fullhd native resolution!

Make sure you contact geniatech and complain, you can also leave feedback on the Mygica forum

BTW Beyond XBMC 3 works great and capable to play 1080p mkv

LOL it is fake 1080p in settings appear 1080p (50 and 60 hz) but really still 720p! Picture is same ase 720p and antutu show same results (and in device info 720p).

That was 6 years ago, they most definitely are not still using the device and by now they no longer have the file that you need.

I found the firmware that was supposedly for it which was a file called Toxic Rover, used Phoenix Card but now nothing is on the screen when I power it on. So I understand that it couldn't have been the right firmware. When I search for the firmware using the script on the board For-Fun Q3-Main-V1.4 that's the only firmware I can find. Please Help me I humbly request? I have included pics thanx in advance.

You will need to add me on skype so i can talk you through the steps as i understand you don't know much about adb or live suit so this is necessary, that tablet looks exactly like the one i fixed recently which took me awhile to track down the right ROM.

As some of you might be aware of, in Brazil Samsung sells the model GT-S6313T under the acronym of Galaxy Young TV Duos, with dual chip support and Digital TV reception functionalities. I happen to have one of those phones and was wondering whether it could be possible to use any custom ROM in it, such as the one for S6310 for instance. Have you ever had any experience in that?

You can install any Young Duos (S6312) ROM, TV patch, and it will work like a charm
I don't have experience with S6310 ROMs. Anyway, I imagine that it will work, but may have some (few) bugs
I hope that you are right! I got recently the brazilian version of the Samsung Young Duos called " S6293T " as a gift. But it is really slow and I would like to root and custom rom it. Do you or anyone else have a suggestion which programms from which phone models i could use safely? Because apparently the "S6293T " model does not exist here

Hi @MiskoMKT
Your model is called Samsung Galaxy Young Plus TV. I don't know if a S6312 ROM will work in your device. If you really really know what you're doing, you can make a test, and revert things back if anything goes wrong. But if you have doubts, or don't have experience with installing custom ROMs, I highly recommend you to don't install S6312 ROM in your S6293T, as you can lose your device.

Rooting should be fairly easy if you have a custom Recovery, but I don't know about any Software upgrades..

That is my problem, finding a custom ROM which is suitable for my type of phone. It seems barely impossible after LONG research and feel that this phone has some extra power inside, where just the right kernel+custom rom input is missing..

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I recently purchased a HUAWEI Y600-U151 running Android 4.2.2 and I can't seem to find any ways to root it.

kingo is more legit and would probably do the job....
I know this is dead but as it turns out, my phone actually came with rooting software (kinguser) how cool is that? It worked like a charm and I didn't even need to get a SU app. Thanks for your help guys.
