iris (Alpha) - Voice

Apple Siri - Android Iris. Yes, we get it after 8 hours developed.

This is FREE software. However, it is alpha test.
You need to have "Voice Search" and "TTS library" installed in your phone for iris to work. Most of the phones have these pre-installed, if not please install them from Android market before you try iris.

1. Why is that, the galaxy nexus which was demonstrated had superior voice synthesis than the present google voice?

and btw,IRIS was developed in 8 hours.
EDIT: I asked iris how are you today, she replied with a company named *HOW ARE YOU TODAY*..lol

Works pretty well, fun to use

Iris is updated and can call and text anyone with fully different ICS ui

i have a problem about google maps application.
i noticed that when i drive my car google maps app start to download data throw my mobile network so i have to turn off mobile data.
how can i stop maps to download this data?
i use "My Data Manager" App to control my mobile data.

Are you rooted? Try to install firewall like DroidWall - Android Firewall and block the app to access via 3G, or you could also try avast! Mobile Security BETA, they also have a firewall (to rooted phones only) included.

You may want to delete this thread. You're about to get barked at. But to sum up your question, no. There are voice command apps available on the market, but Siri is strictly iOS.

And if you're trying different SIRI for Android apps you should not skip trying this one: ANDY siri for android. I find it to be the fastest. It is very compatible with IVONA speech synthesis.

I've tried all these, but if u really want the best siri experience on ur android. Try AIVC. It's a buck but well worth it or Google AIVC.apk and u know....

Hi recently I started noticing that when I tap on an app a white outline shows for about half a second and then the app opens is it normal or how do I fix this. Thank you
