Hello. I have an LG Optimius G E975. I have rooted my phone previously and recently, I had stupidly software updated my phone and at first was stuck at the LG logo sign. I used the LGNPST to attempt to flash it but it had failed and now, I cannot even get the logo to show up. The whole screen is black and the only time something shows is when it is in download mode. I cannot seem to exit the download mode either. Once, the screen was black and red led was flashing. I searched it up and it told me to do a battery pull, but unfortunately that did not work either. Now I'm really left with nothing to do. I was wondering if I can go to the shop and ask them for warranty? Or will the root have voided the warranty? And if it does, how do I fix it??
Thank you so much. I seek your help and I really hope I can fix this.
May I recommend asking in the Optimus G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
You'll have users who are more familiar with the phone and may be able to guide you to a solution.

This is not the first time my device has been bricked. Previously i owned Sony Xperia SP, in the process of installing custom rom i soft-bricked it however after hard work for 2 days straight i repaired it. Right now my new device has been bricked. The day bought it, was the day i rooted it. Then of course i deleted some korean application. When I reboot it. A message came up with an LG logo in the middle of the display "secure booting error" or something like that. Afterwards, I tried to install kdz file through KDZ update no luck, I even used LGNPST still no luck please help me!
I am totally exhausted. PLEASE HELP ME!!!
Hi there!
Here is a guide to restore stock on your device. Well, it doesn't specify f180L...it says f180. So I'd ask in the thread if it applies to your device as well. And I'm sure if you have further questions or issues, they can help you in this thread as well...

You don't seem to be the only one with this issue.
Have a look here: URGENT! LG L86c Optimus Showtime "Secure Booting Unsuccessful".
Hopefully you can get help there.
If not, you should try to claim your warranty, send the corrupt device back and hope for repair/replacement or getting your money back.
In case that this option is not suitable for you, you can ask your question in the Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.
Good luck !
Thread closed and thank you.
So I have a lg g2 d802. I purchased it yesterday. I am fond of android devices and have had them before. So first of all I rooted my device using kingo rooter software it worked. To install custom ROM I needed recovery. So I googled and found that I needed to install software known as autorec. I installed that the installation went smooth. When I clicked reboot to recovery. My phone restarted in fastboot mode with no access to recovery or download mode. By searching around on the net I found fastboot commands and some how miraculously erased partition. Recovery. Etc I got it to work the download mode. And stuff. My phone was restored but the touch was way out of order. Not usable at all. I searched and found out that installing stock ROM kdz with the help of lg flash tool will fix the case. I did that but after wards my phone boots and gets stuck on boot screen lg logo. I press volume down n power I get factory reset which doesn't work. Same thing happens. I get download mode with screen of five dots only no USB made as before. So I am stuck Here. Fast boot doesn't work now either. Lg flash tool doesn't recognize my device either. With many tries I am only able to get lg Android net or mtp in device manager but doesn't help the process in anyway. Please help me I bought phone out of my savings just yesterday and cant afford a new one. I think the idea would be to get download mode working again?

I recently bought an LG G2 off of a friend, perfect condition and it worked as expected.
As i do with all of my phones i went to go root it, easy peasy. 5 minutes and done.
I googled a video on how to install roms on the G2. (This is the D802 version from Tmobile by the way, that was running Lollipop already).
The video told me to download this app, and itll install a recovery automatically. (AutoRec). He replied to someone in the comments saying that it would work for lollipop as well.
So.. without putting much thought into it, i went ahead and did it and got this screen.

Yea.
I searched every single forum post on here about how to fix it, and all ive managed to get is this.

The grey bars are gone, but the fastboot screen is on.
I CANT get into download mode. I CANT get ADB to recognize my phone. Under device manager my phone appears as "Unknown".
I have tried everything suggested on the forums. Flashed laf.img over and over flashed and erased recoveries etc etc EVERYTHING. So my phone is basically just a blackscreen with some text.
Is there a way to reset it to ultimate default settings, i dont care about recovering what was on there at all. I just want to be able to use the phone.
ANY help would be appreciated, if not im just going to resort to this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/general/lg-g2-unbrickable-fix-real-hard-brick-t2904404

I have an lg optimus l70 that has run into a problem. yesterday i decided to install a system update that was from metro. the process was running smoothly until my phone restarted when the progress bar, for the installation of the software, was full. now all it is doing when i power it up is show the lg logo for a few seconds then restarting. the when it boots up again it shows the lg logo then the install progress pops up for less than a second and restarts the device again. the only solution i could come up with was to hard reset it but after trying that it still did the same thing. are there any solutions out there for this.
My phone was rooted before i went to update the software.
