Q. How to use ThunderSonic Engine?
It is a sound control driver. There are two interfaces which you can control
1. Headphone boost - I made this feature because louder volume than max volume in earphones rushes more adrenaline in me making music more enjoyable.
Turning this On will give you instant significant volume boost in earphones which is greater than what you get when the volume is max. Just make the volume maximum and turn this ON and you will notice it
How to turn on:
In terminal emulator/ adb shell, get su permissions and then type
Code:
echo 1 > /sys/kernel/thundersonic_engine/headphone_boost
and use 0 to turn off
2. Speaker boost - In crowded areas I felt speakers of XL fall short in terms of volume magnitude. So I made this to increase speaker volume speakers beyond its limit and now my phone sounds even louder than those dirt cheap china phones
This is 8-leveled boost interface. That means there are 8 boost levels. The default is 3 on TZ
How to turn on
Code:
echo X > /sys/kernel/thundersonic_engine/speaker_boost
where X can be any value from 4 to 8 depending upon the volume boost you require To reset back to default use value 3
Use above features with caution. Using headphone boost for a long time may damage your ears. And do not use speaker boost for a long time. If for some songs you hear crackling of speakers then reset its boost level to 3 or a relatively lower level of 4 or 5

you can boost the headset volume by using amplifiers and using voodoo to increase the dba limit. For speaker, it's no blackberry so it won't be amazingly loud sorry

Yes! LOL
seriously I got it on 10. Also try best quality for better result and don't jump more than 3 or 4 increments at one time. Doing so will kick in a noise gate effect on the speaker and actually make it very quiet.
Hello everybody
I have installed latest version of volume + from the application website itself in my unrooted mobile phone.
I have disabled hearing aids feature too.
I haven't installed dsp manager too.
But still even if however I configure the application volume is not even increasing a small bit, decreasing it but not increasing the volume even a small bit.
Please suggest whether am I missing anything.

Hi guys i have a question about
how i can my music volume higher ?
if there's an app or Some Zip files pleas give it to me and tell me the instructions to install it correctly
Thanks Guys for your time and your effort
Do what i did, find the app called earpiece in the play store. After you install it, open up a music player, play a song, crank up the volume and open earpiece app. Next.thick the audio trough earpiece box and see what happens. You should hear a huge difference and the sound isn't distorted. If nothing changes just click and un click it a few times untill you hear a difference. And also if that's not enough you can also thick the volume boost box but that, as far as I can tell makes your treble stronger and leaves out the bass. Anyways just try it and I can promise your volume will improve.
Btw this works great with the headphones, I haven't tried it on the speaker phone. So just try it out and tell me if it works

I have CM10.1 and it seems to me that the volume on the headset is lower then usual. There is a warning if I go past the "safe" point but the safe point isn't very loud at all. Is this a bug? Is there a way around it? Kernel? Mod? Better ROM?
I downloaded Speaker Boost, but when increasing the gain it did the opposite!

I really disliked the low volume of headset on lg g2 which was not loud enough and lack deep bass. I tried different volume MOD but none of them made any significant difference . Finally i found this app ..such big relief..it increased voulme almost double without any distortation and you can switch it on and off with simple widget.. its working great on cloudy stock kit kat 4.4.2..i purchased the paid one just to support developer but you can try free version 7 day trial and see it yourself difference it make

It does work!
Just download it for my LG G2 and it does increase the sounds volume. I didn't want to root the phone or anything as I only brought it this week and to void the warranty on the first week would just be awful!
Without the app, the sound is still very detailed and smooth sounding, but what it does lack is the power and scale of the iPad driver for example. For me, the iPad driver is the best, but the LG G2 is still very detailed. With this app, you get that touch of more power which means increased bass. There is a decrease in sound clarity when this app is in use, but this is not major and doesn't reach uncomfortable distortion levels.
Overall a great app which is free for the first 7 days but then payment is required. But confusingly, it says on the app store that the app costs £1.19 but you actually go on the app and click 'buy complete version' it gives you a link to the Play Store to buy this fish app that costs £2.59. Confusing?
But well done for finding this app for the people who don't want to void their warranty! Much appreciated! I tried around 10-20 apps this week to increase the volume but every single one did absolutely nothing, like LG had blocked anyone from changing the volumes :S

Nope it's not, disabling safety didn't change anything for me on cloudyflex 2.3. This app on the other hand... wow it really amazed me!!!
This app doesn't do anything. It makes treble high and distortion comes along the way. It just gives you false perception of loud music.
This thing comes with junk and was uninstalled right after trying it.
