[Q] How to Hard Reset xperia tipo i forgot my password lock

Hi brothers my 13 years old niece forgot her tipo st21i password lock.
When device open stucks to password screen....
Tipo has original SE ROM, no root or sw at al..
Do you know a way to hard reset her device...
Unfortunately usb debug is disabled ...

You should still be able to flash stock ftf with flashtool, give it a go.

I fear something like that .. because this device does not belong to me... do you know something light than flashing ... ?

Boot to FLASHMODE from power OFF press Volume Down + USB cable connected to PC -> FLASHMODE (GREEN LED will light up) open PC Companion at ur PC at install software from scratch

Well I have the green LED but PC COmpanion doesn't find the phone. So how can it be found and completly wiped. I don't want to root or unlock!
I get a driver error in the windows configuration manager but I have adb installed for my Nexus One. In flashtool there is a drivers exe but here there is no tipo in it and when I try to install the other two fastboot and flashmode I think I get an error, too.
So how can I completly wipe that thing with the companion as mentioned here in the thread.

Can you download adb driver from adbdriver.com and check if the phone is detected (green check)?

OK. but then. I don'T know what my Firmware (or is it 11.0.a.4.25 which is nowhere in the flashtool thread to be found) is on the phone and also want to format and clear everything whats on it. All internal data (pictures etc.)

You can also use flashtool. Pick any firmware you want. But its easier using pc companion - repair. Just make sure the drivers are installed and the phone detected. The same also applies for flashtool.

It doesn`t actually hang on sony logo
it`s just appears,even battery charging screen appears,but nothing else after this

hhmmm try sony update service and follow the steps to update the phone,if it doesn't recognize your phone try flash stock firmware using flashtool and remember to install the drivers and gordon gate drivers.

When i start my phone i am stuck in cwm recovery and can not het out of it. When is go to download mode and flash something with odin it doesn't find my phone. What must i do ????

You don't need USB debugging for DOWNLOAD mode.
Download and install THESE drivers.

why went i want to unlock my XE C1505 , my flashtool say your device cannot officially unlock bootloader
but when i check in service menu, it said BOOTLOADER UNLOCK ALLOWED YES
any explaination ?

not sure ...i had faced this ...but i dont remember what i did
things to try
connect in flashmode(turn off ,then hold vol down and plug usb in xE-green light will glow)
enable usb debugging
check if latest androxyde flashtool
check drivers
these are all suggestions ....may help a little

[Q] Red LED light...hard bricked xperia c

Hey guys please help me....
I just bricked my xperia when I tried to organize e4 dual rom for xperia c....
Now I can't even turn it on..and when I connect it for charging only red light glows,...
I've tried Sony PC Companion,Wmshua Tools and SUS...but nothing worked...
Help me out...

What you flashed...Recovery mode reachable...??
Phone detected on pc as a device and all...

Actually I tried to make a rom by myself..
Porting from mtk 6582 to 6589...and using stock xperia c kernel...
But after flashing the phone can't be turned on...
Just a red led light blinks when I connect to charger...
Also recovery can't be reached otherwise I would have flash other rom....

If you can't access recovery,
Better flash Stock ROM.

For flashing stock rom we need recover or other option is to use pc companion..
But Sony PC companion is also not detecting the device...
What to do now ?

Can you put your phone into fastboot mode?
If yes, then try flashing stock ftf with the help of flashtool.

I guess we both have to give our phone to sony service centre...

Use PC companion.. click on update my phone..then Repair my phone..then it will download some files.. then select the model.. then it will say press vol down and connect usb..but it didnt work for me.. press vol up+vol down+power+plug in usb.. then it will download and flash your phone..

Cables are correct. But, i am not sure about the drivers for c2305. Coz, i m plugging it for the first time. Its my friend's phone and after its bricked only i'm plugging it. I cant find the drivers outside. I have been trying to flash it for two days. Nothing helped.

Drivers are very necessary in order to the device to be detected..... Without drivers my computer almost lost all hopes of connecting to my printer!!!
So what you need to do is that find the drivers for our phone.... It must be somewhere in forums or you can give a try to the google usb driverz
