hey man
according to my previous experience of android this problem generally occors due to faulty chipsat or problem with the tft screen.better to take it to a service center and ask them to replace the screen instead of re-flahsing the firmware

}
1bright pixel only shown if only im using black wallpaper/background
ok then well i suggest using the warranty if you still have it
if not, and a replacement will cost too much, then try to avoid it as it doesnt effect the usability of the device. ive heard this is an ongoing issue with the i900
best thing is to ignore it

[Q] Dust in Camera

Hi guys, I have a huge amount of dust in my camera and a small black area which can appears for no reason (it exists on stock rom, custom rom, now on cm9). Black area can disapper and appears in different places and in different shapes (now it is near camera swapping button)
Anyway I want to know is there is a way to get rid of the dust ? Where they enter my phone ? Are there anyone have same problem ?

You need to open ur phone and clean it by a clorh!
But do it only if u have hardware skills!
Proceed with CAUTION.
Sent from my GT-I9003 CM9
dude the same thing happened to me
gave it to the service centre 3 times and they cleaned it,sealed some something,..
but it has never recovered , the remains dust free for about 1-2 weeks after they clean it at the service centre and then the dust reappears
so i have stopped using the camera, also i dont require camera at all,as i have it on my other devices
well i did not have any black spots, for me everthing was hazy and foggy
Thank you for helping. Yesterday I asked to service centre how much they want. It was about 8-9 dollars. So tomorrow it will be fixed. Again, thank you
Sent from my GT-I9003 using XDA
I've been through the same. Two times the service center just cleaned the lens and gave it back. The dust used to collect again in two weeks. Then I specifically told them to replace the part (most of the back body you see after you remove the back cover). Now, seems to be fine. I think certain units have a manufacturing defect.

[SOLVED] Screen problem - any ideas? -> SOLVED, LCD BROKE, REVERTED TO ORYGINAL

Hi,
My phone just froze today during making a call.
After taking the batery off and turning phone on screen look like on the photo.
Phone works (I can hear for example volume change), but screen doesn't change.
Any ideas? Phone didn't fall or didn't have any contact with water - I was just trying to make a call.
Is it a hardware issue? Does anyone know the cause?

Hey.
It seems like a hardware problem.
Anyway, get it to bootloader & connect it to the PC, try to confirm fastboot access & flash the RUU using this guide http://tinyurl.com/RUUGuide
If it is software related, that should solve it.

It is hardware-related. Problably LCD issue.
Anyway - I flashed the oryginal rom and everything is the same, so now I restored CID and locked bootloader and I will try to send it for warranty repair.
Thanks.
Side note - I have a really bad luck. I am the same guy who you helped yesterday with S-OFF and currupted system partition
how did you solved the problem , because i have the same issu and my screen look like your's ?
thanks
Please any answer ?

It happens to my P6800 from time to time though very rare.
I have not yet found out why and when happens it.
My guess is that it happens while surfing in stock browser
My device w/ PA 2.55 JB v4.1.2 custom rom modded by Daniel.
I have to admit that the both Androguide and Daniel made awsome job and let us have such a gift.
Anyone else?
i'm also have this problem and since that my acren look not have a good color depth o dont know if this just my imagination anyway mine happen when i played 10 pin bowling any auggestion on how to fix the issue?
Today I face this issue when working with stock file manager
Any solution/reason yet?
No solution yet, would you mind edit your post and supply what rom ure using?
I can trigger the inverted colors more often when uv the gpu, maybe a voltage glitch??
Normaly I experience it once every 2 months or so, but others might get it often..
hey guys that issue i posted above has no fix yet since it only appears rarely
i thinks it's a hardware glitch..after reflashing the latest ics fw i haven't had it again

Phone stuck on blue square with time and date taking up half of screen

Occasionally, when I turn on my screen, the phone is stuck on a screen with a blue square taking up the top half of the screen, showing the time and date, with a clock icon. The bottom half of the screen is black. The phone is completely unresponsive to touch, and the only solution is to remove the battery and reboot.
Galaxy S5, running Lineage 14.1 (Android 7.1.2).
Does anyone have any idea what this is?
TIA!!

I had the same problem. What you see is the smart cover screen. It can be solved too. Go to your phone setting:
- Settings
- Connected Devices
- Smart cover
- Off

Thank you Erik-Jan!
It did work for me!
