This work I had almost finished long ago.
Now completed for MIUI V.3.12.20
Always in the past, I have carried out three other port for XJ
achieving results that, I did not think possible for this device.
Improvements
Made fully new port (left alone: Phone app previous.)

New Miui Home with the right scale

TIPS
After installation and reboot:
-make before eventual restore MIUI Backup -
go to settings / Developer options
On: Enable development - USB debugging - Force GPU rendering -
search:
windows animation scale (set= Animation scale 5X)
Transition animation scale (set= Animation Off)
Animation duration scale (set = Animation Off)
REBOOT
Notes
if you set : windows animation scale (set=Animation Off)
the system will be even faster, but you will always have a problem of low display brightness on waking
With 5x instead, the brightness remains stable. It goes low only when you change the system. It resolves simple reboot !!!

Present port miui - version 5 - 3.12.20 - Multilang - for XPERIA J
Version Android 4.1.2 MIUI
Overclock to 1.5 GHz thanks to the kernel riches miui. A lot of RAM free. Minimum
battery usage, even after long phone calls or overclocking, TaskKiller working.
Based FXP last build - Base Miui 3.12.20 - Includes Play Store. Even more improved version.
Very fast, stable and flexible.
Made many test: without lags, if well set! Miui is now almost 100%!
But with a lot of free ram, problem seen in many Miui rom.
Ability to store numerous apps, with the possibility to use the ext_card / sd_card as internal memory.
My goal was to be able to run the Miui weather on this rom. Goal achieved!
Everything is now more responsive, a new rom!
Infinite possibility to customize with countless themes!

Tips NOAV3
- For task killer:

Install instructions:
- If you are coming from JB or another, not ICS : advice of install firmware ftf (ICS) (ST26i_11.0.A.7.5_CE)
via flashtool (Flashmode)
- Copy the ROM.zip in Ext-card
- Extract the boot.img from the zip and flash the kernel with Flashtool (fastboot mode)
- Go into recovery (TWRP prefer - green LED)
- Wipe Cache- Dalvik Cache - Factory Reset - System
- Clear internal card (SD card)
- Flash Zip
- Wipe Cache-Dalvik Cache
- REBOOT
* When you first start to notice the boot is late: ALL IS WELL !!! The double swap you are installing !!!!!!!
- Completed the initial installation REBOOT
- REBOOT
***** to stabilize the swap, I advise you to make 3 complete reboot *****

:crying::crying::crying::crying:Mega.co.nz site is down. Can you plz add a mirror on any other site???
By far the best MIUI rom, although aesthetically wise has a few problems but not too bad
Aesthetical issues:
1) Google Play icon is Purple
2). When going to edit screen mode it has a row of widgets at the bottom below the widgets it has a 3x3 grid of dots and the dots are coloured white depending on how much space they take, I think there is one image file missing
3). When installing an app whether it failed or not it has a darker shade on the left but stops 1/4 of the way

@lozohcum I started with LT26I device, then I went (to date) with LT18i, solving other problems ....
I am honored to make you pleasure (the King of the JLO) the continuation the story of the MIU for XJ.

For example, I did the upload in the early hours of the morning. upload a breeze.

I was porting from that device too.
If you need any help with fixing bugs (framework especially) let me know, I think I remember most of things about MIUI.
Some MIUI ports may have issues with GPS time and some others.

Why dont you just fix the framework with permissions of course and release it but also giving credits to him?

yezzz, but skip the part of .smali files and should work. Just use framework.jar from MIUI XJ

I am very grateful to you!
But, certainly with much more time, I like it (if it is possible for me) reach my goals on my own.
Last night I finally solved and improved my rom than the public version. Some bugs were right in the framework and android.policy.jar ...
Some bugs fixed:
fixed monitor data
fixed-date setting - watch the screen - according to your own time zone
solved status bar completely multilang and transparent
rom multilang completely 100%...
and much more ..... as well as global updates.
Finally, on your advice I wished I test the functionality of the GPS, I installed IGO vers.9.67 .....and I must say I am amazed: a few seconds to start up and immediately my device he hooked satellites ... for me .. perfect.

Battery 100%
I'm not sure if this is the ROM, But i've got a 100% Battery Reading all the time
Right now i'm following the steps of the battery callibration
I've charged it to 100% (I know this by feeling the temperature of the charger & the Voltage reading)
I pressed the Battery Callibration button
I used a Fast discharge app to fully discharge the battery, I then left the battery in the device over night (A Red LED Drained the Battery)
I've now put it on charge and i'll turn it on in 1-3 Hours
And can i just ask, i think i've bricked it into a bootloop because when the batttery was at like 0% I took the battery out plugged it back it and it was just on the bootanimation is this due to the lack of power?

After going through a hard time (I bricked my phone so i had to re-flash the ROM) it seemed the Callibration did the trick, My batteries reading the correct percentage I can comfirm this ROM did not cause my problem

I can only add, that I have used this rom for a long time and I've never had similar problems ....
advice: the battery installed on XJ - if I'm not mistaken - is lithium polymer, so NEVER fully discharge (only nickel cadmium).
Even more cycles of charge and discharge fast! result if these precautions are not observed, the battery loses its nominal values

So what does this all mean?
System partition - this means that i00 ROM does not install any ROM component on your data partition; this has two advantages: it saves precious space on your data partition - so you can maximize the amount of apps you can have installed, and it allows you to factory reset the phone without having to re-install the ROM!

Have been running my ROM for a while and have not had any major issues with it yet...
basically (as with my shift rom) i00 ROMs are designed to be as near stock as possible but build on existing features without cluttering the ROM with other apps and other unnecessary junk - my policy is "if the user wants an app they will download it"
Battery life seems to be good - easily get 24 hours out of my phone now with moderate use!
This ROM is NOT overclocked... but can be in 5.1+
Feedback is much appreciated (as always) ... and let me know if you find any bugs (that are not listed in the post below)

Procedure
Of course make sure you have rooted and installed clockwork and then apply the update through that.
The procedure for flashing should be:
Backup existing ROM through Clockwork in case something goes terribly wrong!(or other backup tool)
Wipe Data/Factory reset (not always required but HIGHLY recommended) if flashing from another ROM (not i00 ROM) - if there are steps required for an update (from one version of i00 ROM to another) I will post the details in the Version Info
Flash new ROM through Clockwork

OK thought I'd put together a list of common questions that people have with this ROM to stop me answering the same questions again and again.
Q: What else is included in the ROM
A: Besides the Base apps from HTC and Google ... not alot - Superuser (for other changes see the change log above)
Q: I flashed and now my system apps keep force closing

Issues
G sensor config does not work in 5.0+ (found by maow59)
Long messages that are sent get split and sent as individual txt's instead of multi-part txt's in 5.0+
Selecting "turn off" hibernates the phone in 5.0+
MMS doesn't work in 5.0+
Some widgets do not work in 5.0+
In view under people the checkboxes are not displaying correctly in 5.0+

4.1 - Camera has a button it that is used to switch to the front camera and has a mirror application - clicking the front camera button closes the camera app, and mirror is just a black screen - will try reverting this to a Desire HD camera APK at some stage

You could make an update zip ... but if you don't know what you're doing it is prob easier to extract the zip file - and edit the fonts in the system/fonts folder
However some fonts may not fit correctly ... there is already some text in my ROM that now wraps on to 2 lines on some buttons

This helps to improve battery life:
1º I always use it for WhatsApp 2G networks, mail, etc. spare me (and I polish the data rate in 2 days) which I do not care.
- Settings - Wireless - Mobile networks - (activated) Use only 2G networks.
2º Always sync manually Market, E-mail or contact (WhatsApp, messenger, etc does not care, are always active).
- Sync settings and accounts - (Off) Reference Data.
3° Off (default is active) GPS in the taskbar. (Where is the Bluetooth and Wifi.) Will make sure that security settings and location is only active Use wireless networks.
4º Inactive animations and screen brightness of the automatic.
5º I have the normal speed processor and 122Mhz minimum.
6º I use the Calibrator's Battery Market (following instructions) and the battery to 100%.
7° With these steps, I increase the battery life.
----- Installation with DarkTremor. -----We started the ClockworkMod, we Wipe data / factory reset, Wipe cache, then we enter an advanced Dalvik Wipe Cache and the battery is 100% Battery Status do a Wipe if we do not proceed to make ext3 partition. Advanced, partition SD Card, 512 or 1GB and select Swap 128MB (Remember that after partition the SD to copy the rom on the FAT), after doing all that, select the rom to install and expect to complete the process. Once finished the installation process, restart the phone and wait for it to boot the system.

how are people finding this ROM? how is its performance against r7 or any other ROMs? Im currently using Blademix 2.3.4 and while I find it very nice and smooth the battery life is quite poor. Although im not quite sure if its my battery or the ROMs fault I would like to try this if it gives better battery life.
maybe someone could post antutu benchmark @ 600MHz as a guide?

First impressions
Hi Elitemovil,
I installed this new rom about 3h ago and it is very similar to the previous R7 I have installed.
Until now what I found was:
1 - a known issue, I think, on menu screen when we rotate 90 degrees all the icons stay together on top of each other
2 - I noticed when press the power button a new animation screen, like turn off a tv, is available. I don't know if it is related but when the screen turns off by timeout and we press power to turn on, the screen is not locked
3 - a known issue too, when we receive a call the phone rings loud once and the next rings are very low
Overall is a great rom as the R7.

Just tested this. It installs and runs basically ok. Wi-fi, BT and gps works ok.
I don't see any bigger difference in performance when compared to CM7 nightlies. Angry birds lags quite often. especially when the ads are visible.
Battery consumption seems to be reasonable.
Some issues:
- Market (vending) FC issues, probably due to wrong locale. The default language was weird "hd (English)". This was solved by changing the language to English US.
- Spare Parts > Battery History crashes every time.

I've not had the market crash problem myself but the Spart Parts thing is because this is a GB ROM. As far as I know spare parts battery history doesnt work on GB ROM's. There is an alternative on the market or here on XDA I cant remember what its called though
Yeah, there's BetterBatteryStats, that shows a lot of battery information.
More issues with this ROM:
- The phone rings only once now, when called. Tried with default ringtone (Digital Phone).
- The browser cannot download attachment files (e.g. the widget_tabs.zip for this rom from this forum/mediafire).

I've installed this ROM. Fast rom but for me not working data, screen rotation, screen brightness. But everything else is good. Menu fast and smooth, good battery drain. It will be good to see this ROM then the bugs will be fixed

You guys should stop making this kind of ROM. I already left MIUI for MoKeeOS, in now this one is tempting me again. Fortunately my USBs aren't working, so I can't do it in the urge right now, but I'll download it for testing, later.
this looks really nice and i'd like to try it but after flashing i just get a boot loop, i'm not really sure if i installed it incorrectly or what..... is there a specific SBF i should be using for this?

i tried it and i'm still in the same loop, i think the problem is that i cant wipe the dalvick cache. i choose to but when i click the power button the selection bar goes to the top of the screen without doing anything. or it could be that i previously had CM7 installed idk

i know you guys may think it looks like MIUI , but i assure you it's totally different ROM nor MIUI-based modification , and if you have time , please read first pages of all these kind people's reports and feelings about this ROM.
what i think is , every and any ROM is like child to all of us in Android community , and please don't think it is bad or ugly or whatever negative expression you can think of , because nothing is perfect , as MIUI , it is now 71 weeks old , and this one is only 3 weeks old, and for now , MIUI 4.0 does have problems and bugs as well as this one, it has some problems or bugs, but that's how all ROM start, right ?
we are just like bunch of daddies (mommies) here , to help developer to raise (improve) thier child (ROM) , they need you help and report!

Smart Player is a new Music Player based on the well known Apollo, I had to use Apollo as base to
speed up my work, but why you need Smart Player to complete the user experience of this mod?
It's simple: you kown the app Trickster Mod right? Well, with trickster you can enjoy all your kernel features,
and with Smart Player you can enjoy all the PureAudio 2.0 features.
There are two version: the free one is like apollo, with just a brand new banner and audio parameters. The 0,99$ version

You see that little battery icon on the top right corner.Thats a goddamn power button !
Single press to turn off screen.

2.The almighty serajr Power Toggles
Open the status bar.Now swipe from left side of screen to the right and the toggles will appear.
3.The Status Bar
The Nemesis Fusion status bar has 3 (Yes!) layouts.
Slide normally down for first layout.
Slide with 2 fingers for 2nd layout.
The 3rd layout has power toggles.See number 2. for instructions.
4.Xposed Framework,GravityBox & serajr Xperia Xposed
Go to the settings .Slide down a little and you would see these apps there.
Install Xposed Framework first !!!
5.Control your CPU , (yes !)
Go to settings , slide down and you will see an app named 'No Frills CPU Control'.
You can use it to control your clock speed and all.
6.Viper Audio FX
Go to settings , slide down and you will see an app named 'Viper Audio Enhancements'.
Click on it , then you can install its drivers and enjoy the enhancements.
7.Beats Audio (Widget Only)
Go to settings , slide down and you will see an app named 'BEATS Manager Settings'.
Click it and you will get options on widget.To use this feaure simply go to home screen , open widgets and add
beats widget to home screen.
8.Autostarts
You must have come across a setting in Windows which allows you to configure which apps you want to start/stop at boot.
This is simply its adaptation on android , that too made simple to check boxes.(Yes !)
This option is available in setting, far down.
9.Custom Bootanimation
I guess most of you guyz would be familiar with this but I am writing this for helping.
Navigate to
/system/media/
Here you will see a file named bootanimation.zip.You can replace it with any other custom bootanimation.
10.MTK Engineering Mode
This one is a little hi-fi feature. I recommend standard users not to use this as it can do some irevertible changes .
To open engineering mode, go to dialer and type *#*#3646633#*#*
It will fire up the engineer mode for you.
BUGS
BUGS1-)Visualiser settings option in Settings gives Force Close
Temporary Fix=Download and install this file to /system/app
2-)GRAVITYBOX gives FC when open through settings
Temporary fix: access it through app drawer.

Gravity box works through the app itself but will force close if you access it through settings.

I don't have time to explore this ROM yet. As mentioned above, GravityBox doesnt work through settings. You need to access the app itself. Also I think the status bar icons are not well spaced.
Anyway here's some screen shots.

You mean no lag right?
You can actually disable quite a lot of apps to get more free ram or use the v6 supercharger script.

What I found about GB is that it wasn't properly decompiled when I tried it so that it doesn't show in launcher just as other app don't whose shortcut is in settings.I will release a fix for it.
can you help me pls. my playstore crashes everytime i try to search an app.

Guys actually this thing happens for a lot of time whenever I hold any key in navigation bar for a while my phone stuck nothing else just stuck I only gain access again when I lock my phone and again turn on screen everything works fine plus do something to fix it

Thanks , yup GB fix coming soon,
What I'm gonna do is remove the shortcut from settings app cause I can't get it to decompile,it uses some weird framework which is not at all similar to stock framework.

Yeah sure,
First of all root your phone (google search will help you)
Then install a custom recovery, (search google, there is a website informationlord.com, that will help you to install recovery)
Then simply follow the instructions given in first post on how to install this rom and dont forget to press the THANKS button if I helped you.

I'm 100% sure its an error from your side cause several people have successfully installed it, anyways I will make a installation video but that will take a little time, I'm not sure how much.
