[Help]Can anyone port the CWM recovery to Micromax Canvas Doodle A111?

Hello guys,Can anyone port the CWM Recovery to Micromax canvas A111?
Note- it runs on Qualcomm MSM8225Q Snapdragon
can anyone please port it?i would be thankful to you.

Anyone reply...i have been checking 30-40 times per hour

I too own doodle and frustated to see that there is not any custom recovery for this. We can try clockworkmod builder, but for that I need stock recovery.img and graphics.c files.

perhaps you may try and see if any options work. if you wish to do so you can download the A116 recovery from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2167621
and update the recovery by downloading "MTK Mobileuncle tools" from play store and choosing the "update recovery" option.

are u completely mad, cwm from a mediatek is working on qualcomm, that's too flashed via mobile uncle tools which is only mtk devices. stop posting ****..

i have Found a method to flash cwm on funbook pro (in yarvik rom) with out usb mouse.
Complete guide
step1:- after you have successfully bricked your device(stuck on mmx logo).download live suit.download yarvik rom(refer previous posts on xda).
Step2:-flash the yarvik rom using livesuit.download the backup given by cool.gautham.
Step3:-after you have flashed it, touch wont work.download the "recover install by me.rar" and extract it
Step4:-connect your tab via usb....usb debugging is enabled by default in yarvik rom(thank god!)
step 5:-click on install_recovery.bat,,wait 4 sum time.i have included a recovery.img .. (if you want to flash touch recovery replace the given image with cwm touch image.)
Thats all!!over u will have cwm.restore the back up of cool.gautham! via cwm and now you can install any rom..(touch will work only if u restore cool.gautham backup)...

I did exactly these steps, and would confirm that it works. Too bad I had to go through them by trial and error & then see this, wish this had come up on the google search earlier.

[Q] How to build CWM for Broadcom

I want to know how can I build a clockworkmod recovery for my broadcom bcm23550 mobile phone...I heard that i will require kernel source to build a CWM but I don't have as it's not been released yet...I tried builder.clockworkmod.com too but after flashing that recovery there was nothing but a black screen appearing when I booted to recovery.. I can provide all the necessary files and info, can do the hard work too but I need some directions to proceed. Please help me out..

Is there any way to have a working CWM or any other custom recovery without having the kernel sources??
If yes please do give me accurate directions. PLEASE!!!

u will not get any help. m also trying but no help there is no development for broadcom devices my device is bcm21553

The Xolo Q1000 Opus is sold in Vietnam as Mobiistar Lai 504Q. A vietnamese developer, minhdangoz, has made a semi working CWM for this device

This recovery is in Vietnamese.
To use builder.clockworkmod.com try the following steps.
1. Save stock recovery.img and boot.img from phone into PC.
2. Extract boot.img, because thats where you'll find recovery.fstab.
3. Use this file for graphics.c -> View attachment graphics.zip (This file is from minhdangoz's source code of his CWM port)
4. Use recovery.img from Step 1, recovery.fstab from Step 2 and graphics.c from Step 3
5. Build the CWM

we have a working CWM and TWRP for the Xolo thanks to @minhdangoz94 . I have tested it and it works.
nandroid backup works well.
you can find the CWM and TWRP here -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2740261
i find it easy flash it from fastboot.. by adb reboot-bootloader
dd dump the stock recovery before hand as this CWM cannot flash Xolo updates.. It can only flash custom ROMs and ROMs from Mobiistar.
(The Mobiistar Lai 504Q sold in vietnam is the exact same phone as the Xolo Opus)
if Xolo releases update that you want to install.. flash xolo recovery first and then apply the xolo update.. for every other job that CWM is known for, this recovery works well. so you can flash it back after installing the update from Xolo.

but frend my device is not xolo. only xolo is broadcom device ?? question is for all bcm devices. and when i uploaded my stock recovery and recovery.fstab to builder.clockworkmod.com then the output recovery did not work. i tried again 2 times by graphics.c uploading and these 2 times recovery was not successful.

Dude rt now we r having two recoveries .one is Carliv which is based on cwm .
And the other one is clean cwm ..
Carliv recovery is messy with unwanted design and interface ..
So I have created the clean cwm for those who don't like carliv recovery
But carliv and my cwm works same with different interfaces that's it!!

CWM recovery for Micromax Unite 2 / Myphone Rio Lite

Installing Clockworkmod Recovery on your Micromax Unite 2 means that you will be able to flash new custom ROMs on it. Without custom recovery you cannot flash new ROMs. Also, it should be installed on rooted devices. Clockworkmod Recovery can also be used to backup your entire ROM.

METHOD A (WITHOUT PC):
You need:
1. CWM recovery
a) For Kitkat (Download)
b) For Jellybean (Download)
2. MobileUncle tools (install from play store)
3. Rooted Phone (How to root | Root without PC)
Follow these steps to flash custom recovery without PC:
Step 1: Put downloaded recovery in external SD card.
Step 2: Install Mobileuncle tools.
Step 3: Open Mobileuncle tools.
Step 4: If asked grant root permission.
Step 5: Open Recovery Update.
Step 6: Choose the recovery you want to flash.
Step 7: Tap OK to confirm flashing recovery.
Step 8: Tap OK to reboot to newly flashed recovery.
METHOD B (PC):
You need:
1. CWM recovery
a) Kitkat (Download)
b) Jellybean (Download)
2. SP Flash tools (Download)
3. Scatter file (Create)
4. Micromax Unite 2/Myphone Rio Lite
Follow these steps to flash custom recovery using sp flash tools:
Step 1: Extract/unzip all downloaded files.
Step 2: Open SP flash tool and load scatter file.
Step 3: Unselect all blocks and select only RECOVERY.
Step 4: Click the location column of RECOVERY and select downloaded recovery.
Step 5: Remove battery of your phone, click Download in SP flash tool and connect your phone via USB cable (without battery).

No, the behavior of recovery.img depends on a lot of things like preloader, ik, boot
You can't use any other phone's recovery without porting it

Well, depends on what r u tryng 2 do, if u tryng 2 flash smthing with SPFT, click the download button before connecting
