Is there any active development going on for this device? It's a very good phone for it's price, and I bet a lot of people (me included) would love to see some custom ROMs coming to this device.

These ROMs were make by a friend of mine, he is not a proffesional developer but he wanted to help us
We are making a new ROM, a serious ROM, but we nedd some proffesional help to make some hard things, like recover the OTG.

I saw in HTCMANIA that pollog09 tryed to gather a team for some serious custom rom building but without any success i think!!!!
XDA forums should be a better place 4 such thing,it would be easier for him to gather a devs team here,no?

I think we need to make a small team to give support to this phone, but... How? Great Developers don't buy this phone and Samsung and Broadcok fu**ed us with things like removing OTG.
We need a serious team making a serious ROM, not a ROM with some small changes.

It could be very nice! I have an idea. We can make a post to collect people. We need a Beta tester, various translatos, various developers (for CWM, Kernel and ROM), somebody who make the post of the ROM and makes the screencaptures, a server where we can submit the sources, etc.
In HTCMania I spoke with a moderator to make a room for the Samsung Galaxy Trend Plus, I've ordered it a little bit and I've directed all the users of this phone to it and a whatsapp grup. Now I think that I should collect all of the developers I colud get, and you or anyone can help me. We want support and ROMs and we are going to have support and ROMs!!

So today I ported a ROM for a Galaxy Ace to a LG UNIVA E510 ( Optimus Hub)
I didnt put the ROM online or such like that because I am testing it and it has no bugs or such things but some parts I need to add.
P.S: Using the ported ROM right now.
Now I want to ask following:
Do I need first to talk to the person who uploaded the ROM?
When I get a possitive answer may I put this ported ROM on XDA for others to use and download?
Sorii but I am kinda noobie in this way, altough I know how to flash and all stuff like that

got my hand on a galaxy CORE 2 SM-G355M. Its been a while since ive used android. but imm having the following problems
internal memory full. it dosent let me download any mew apps, i only have 4gb and i have a 16 gb external sdcard but im having a hard time setting it up so that all my apps and data will automatically download to the SDcard.

U must specify witch model are u looking for. There are some custom modded roms based on stock 4.4.2 there is no working CM for now and no Lolipop.

Can porting of Galaxy core prime Lollipop rom to GC2 is possible ?
Galaxy core prime is getting 5.0.1 update , is it possible for devs to port that rom to SM-G355H as the devices are mostly identical in hardware specs except Processor,ram.....It will be easy for devs to port rom rather than build it from scratch..what you think? ?

Porting Roms With Android Kitchen Is such a Tedious Job Or else the rom wont Work.It is easily said than doing it.......

Yeah, but even so, stock ROM has this strange habit of closing my apps such as Viper for Android. Hearing music jump from crappy quality to good quality and vice versa is so annoying that I'm thinking about buying any Samsung device just to quench my disappointment.

That's the problem I sadly realized after buying this phone. Almost ZERO ROMS are released for LG. Damn you LG, your bloatware is annoying. The only nice feature would be the knock code, which does not always work.
I am between a rock and a hard place with a phone as usable as this one.

Sounds like one of us will have to take one for the team and learn to code before changing phones. I was so happy with my old SII (PAC-MAN ROM) but you know, every piece of hardware is bound to die. I swear that phone kept me going with the amazing feature of changing tracks with the volume hardware buttons, it had amazing WiFi reach...

First of all... Spamming is a bad solution. It will make things just worse and could get you banned. There are better ways to approach like maybe starting yourselve.

You don't need coding for building CM. It will be helpful however its not necessary.

well i do have LG Bello D335 ( i use it for work ) and i do share with you the need for Cyanogenmod cause the stock rom is horrible
so i took upon my self to risk my device and try to port Cyanogenmod to our phone.
will try to keep you posted when i get some progress.
bad news...
tried to build CM12.1 Rom For our device but CM 12.1 or CM13 needs to be flashed on devices running android kitkat
and there is no custom recovery for LG bello running kitkat so we can't flash any CM based ROM.

MIUI 7 is indeed an awsome rom, I used it for a long time, the only problem is the Google play services fc other than that it is a perfect rom.

Yeah, if you see the other miui thread for n900, i mentioned that my pc broke and cannot help. So apparently i'm going PC-less for a while, and it broke deeper than expected and need to buy new one.
BUT, if i need new pc= money. And i don't have sufficient amount to buy 1 (going to buy the high specd one, make things easier :laugh: ) So i have to work part-time to get it
BUT, part-time needs time, which i don't have since final test comes in a couple of months, which will decide if i will get my highschool diploma :victory: (yeah, i'm that young) and that's why i said that it will come out half, of end of April.
Also, the other miui rom will be ready soon, so yeah. Hopefully my version will be better :laugh:
So that's pretty much it. Hope this explains it

Hey guys i know ts kindda difficult for you all to develop ROMs but i request you all to build a stble version of RR(Ressurection Remix) for SM-J700f
As you know there arent any stable ROMs for this handset which gives stock android experience...
