Hey.
I have an LG Optimus F7 and I recently rooted the device. After I installed ROM manager from Clockworrk, I pressed "Backup current ROM". I thought this would be to backup an image of my system that I could use for recovery if I were to run into trouble. It simply asked me for a name of the backup, and I entered the current date.
As soon as I hit "Ok", the phone automatically rebooted. When the phone turned on, I realized a whole system wipe had been performed. Is this supposed to happen?
Oddly enough, SU is still installed on my phone, but everything else is gone. All the apps, contacts, music. Everything.
Can I fix this somehow?

Hello Developers,
I did mess with my android phone Mercury mTab MagiQ & need your kind attention and help here.
What I did first is:
1. rooted my phone with Root Genius;
2. thereafter, I copied the GApps to /system/app;
3. then I unrooted the device with root genius
4. then I did the factory setup &
5. finally, I tried rebooting my phone
huh... its not allowing me to rebooting again as all the time, few messages popping up that are not allowing me to go off the Welcome screen. Messages that are coming time & again are:
1. Unfortunately, Google Account Manager has stopped.
2. Unfortunately, the process.com.google.process.gapps has stopped.
I tried doing the factory setup by pressing Vol+ Start+ Home button & rebooted but the same problem.
Don't know what to do... kindly suggest the way out.

PS: BTW, i am pretty sure you must flash stock ROM but its just a guess.

tHE PHONE IS VIBRATING. i CAN ENTER IN RECOVERY MODE.. The PC make a sound but the fastboot,Odin & other programs cant see my phone. i INSTALLED ALL KIND OF DRIVERS BUT .... i USED PIMP MY ROM BUT I MADE A MISTAKE TO USE OTHER SIMILAR APP AFTER THAT AND AFTER REBOOT DIED. THE LAST I MADE BACKUP/RECOVERY WITH MY OLD BACKUP BUT STILL NOTHING. I KNOW NOW I MUST DO SOMETHING FROM PC BUT DRIVERS ARE PROBLEM.

So I've had this tablet for a while now, and normally I come here for any help, tips and guides for rooting or unbricking.
Never have I had a block in the road till now. Originally the settings kept saying "unfortunately settings and stop".
I cleared the cache first then.... didn't work. Then the date storage.... didn't work either.. and finally I went extreme.
I factory reset the thing. Major no no... Now the lock scene is gone as well as blue tooth and wifi are non accessible.
If I try opening it, it'll crash and or sometimes just reboot on its own.
I really do not want to bother anymore with fixing the error and just want to revert back to stock rom.
So does anyone have the original firm ware? It is currently running JB 4.2.2
The MODEL # is P310A
I did flash the recovery to Clockwork Recovery. Since the original recovery menu
did not have a clear 'dalvik cache' option.
Yes I understand I have royally destroyed this thing. But this thing is completely useless to me if I can't log on to the net.

Hi, I accidently press make system app google photo on titanium backup then I press it to go back to user app and it stuck for like more than 10 minutes. So i stopped it, app disappear and I restarted but phone does not boot any more. I run genuine recovery and adb says unauthorized.
Any idea how to get to system and delete that app and how to see my data?

Umi zero stock rom.
I fixed it with backup in recovery than update with same rom and restore backup. As this kind of backup does not backup rom it fixed my problem and I lost only rom changes like 2 files...
But still it. Is good to know if there is a way to read rom partiition on stock recovery and stuck phone.

So I don't know what happened, I have my rooted RIV R55 II (Relatively unknown device, running Android 4.4 KitKat), and I tried loading a Lollipop ROM onto the device using the update from ADB function in the recovery menu. It didn't go through, said signature verification failed. I went to turn off signing in the developer settings, and went back to recovery, but it's now a blank screen. Can't figure out why. Can no longer wipe the device either, as the wipe function goes through recovery and just goes blank screen when attempting to wipe. Help?

I hope you tried to flash something made for your exact device make and model? If not... You may be bricked. Unfortunately I can't find anything relevant on XDA for your device..... But you could try asking for help here,
