HELP: USB Debug Mode not working Anymore

This happens today as i am debugging a little program of mine. Suddenly, the device stops from being recognized on both macs and Windows. At first i thought the mini usb connector was faulty however, i connected the cable and it shows that it's charging. However, when i do ADB devices.. still no devices found.
Can anyone provide a solution to this?
Tried enabling usb mode on and off, restart PC and mac. nothing works.
Thanks.
What rom use....? Stock or dev. ????
If your dev. rom ....you should off the debugging

[Q] ADB not connecting

Not sure when USB stopped working but nothing I've done let's my HTC One X (AT&T) connect via usb. I'm running CM10.1 and have tried both MTP and USB Storage and none of my PC's will see my phone.
I'm running TWRP 2.5, which I just updated today. When I boot into recovery and mount USB, my PC shows nothing. I boot the phone into recovery and the fastboot line says fastboot AC instead of fastboot USB. I've tried 3 different cables, an older cable that came with a MyTouch 4G, the HOX cable, and a generic USB cable. All three cables work with my wife's HOX, though hers is stock.
I've also tried on two different laptops (one vista, one win7), my PC (win7), even ran an Ubuntu VM on my PC and nothing.
HTC Sync Manager has been installed and is currently uninstalled though I do see the HTC Driver in Programs so it is there. Some times when I plug the phone in I get an error from Windows about the USB device not installing right. One odd thing is I don't see the device anywhere in device manager, nothing other Other, Android Devices or anything like that.
Developer options are turned on, with Android debugging, USB debugging notify turned on. Root access is set to Apps and ADB.
I've tried other things I've found such as turning the phone off and plugging it into the USB and letting windows detect that way. Pretty much at a loss at this point.

Helping a gentleman with the same issue in another thread, it sounds to me like a hardware issue.

OS missing & no USB connection

A friend of mine gave me today his OnePlus One. He had problems to connect it to his PC and then he wiped the whole device (TWRP) ...
So ... now there isnt a os on the phone and i cannot get it to work with USB.
i tried several drivers:
- SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones_v1.5.33.0
- PdaNetA4180
- adb-setup-1.4.2
- UniversalAdbDriverSetup
- latest_usb_driver_windows
But no change. Tried 3 different PCs, but it doesnt work. It seems, that the Smartphone is broken and cannot establish a connection over USB.
adb sideload does also not work, it stucks at "Starting ADB sideload feature". fastboot mode is also not working.
USB cable is also not the problem, tried 2 different (both original).
Windows just saying "USB device not recognized" and its listed as unknown device and no driver works with the device.
Does anybody have an idea?

Did you try using OTG-USB?
TWRP supports OS installation via OTG-USB

I ordered yesterday an OTG Adapter, will try that.
Any other ideas?

Help needed! ADB issues(detected on phone but not in fastboot)

Dear all,
Please Help me. My One plus one is on CM12 official rom (rooted). Problem is when I connect my phone to computer and use ADB it is detected (adb devices: number & devices detected) but when in fastboot (fastboot devices : nothing is detected) I check in my device manager (yellow triangle on android ) My problem is why CAN it be detected when my phone is on but NOT during fastboot.
Necessary checks done : USB debugging, Universal driver, SDK installed, USB driver reinstalled again, tried changing usb ports on computer, tried on 2 laptops)
I am helpless, tried checking on forums can not find the answer.

Tried adb reboot bootloader then phone boots into fastboot mode but from here..
is total no connection. Tried checking fastboot devices (nothing), fastboot reboot (waiting)
then i tried as u said unplug & plug in (not recognize) from here adb cannot be written anymore. (no more commands can be typed). Tried others like down loading Pdanet ,force install driver..Nothing works. Thinking ,did I corupt the bootloader while I was rooting it last time.?
I think if something was wrong with bootloader you could not either boot .
Do you use antivirus to pc?
Try without antivirus
What happening the false is from computer
Mine is reverse issue. When in fastboot mode, pc recognizes OPO, but when OPO is normally connected to pc, adb is not working. Its charging and can transfer data through USB, but OPO is not recognized through adb commands. Device Manager too recognizes my OPO only when it is in fastboot mode and not when normally connected via USB for data transfer.
I have a software, through which I can REVERSE TETHER my PC's internet to my mobile via USB. Because my OPO is not recognized via USB in normal mode, I can't do that. Any idea, what's wrong with my OPO.
(I have installed Android SDK and google usb drivers, for my OPO to work in fastboot. I have rooted. My pc runs on win7)

Oneplus 8T fastboot not recognized KB05AA

adb devices command works perfectly but when I'm in bootloader, computer does not recognize my phone. fastboot devices returns nothing. device manager show Android with a triangle under "Other Devices".
1. Tried updating the driver and manually choosing it as Android ADB Interface or Android Bootloader Interface with no luck.
2. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling the USB drivers and adb still works normal but fastboot still won't recognize my phone.
3. Tried revoking USB debugging and reallowing debug from my phone. Still same issue.
4. Tried using original Oneplus USB C-C cable, Pixel USB C-C cable, USB A-C cable, generic USB C-C cable (Oneplus was still not recognized on fastboot but Pixel was recognized so it is not the cable/PC)
4. Tried reformatting my PC. Doing a clean install on everything and still same issue.
My last resort is this thread. I would really like to unlock my Oneplus 8T bootloader and root but for some reason, fastboot does not recognize my phone. I just hooked up my Pixel phone after reformatting my PC and adb/fastboot worked normally like it should.

You can also try installing the oneplus drivers in the oneplus drive that pops up when you plug in your phone
Edit: Scratch that. I guess the 8T doesn't come with a driver partition. Try this https://oneplususbdrivers.com/oneplus-8t-usb-driver-download/
Install Universal ADB Drivers first and then boot Oneplus 8T to fastboot mode, repair oneplus device driver to "ClockworkMod Android ADB Interface" on Windows, you can use fastboot command for unlock bootloader now.
Universal ADB Drivers https://adb.clockworkmod.com/
I had the worst bloody time getting fastboot drivers installed for my 8T (KB2007, T-Mo).
I ended up having to find the device id for my device and manually patch and resign Google's USB drivers to get it working. If you can handle reading batch files and stuff, clone the repositories at https://github.com/fawazahmed0/Latest-adb-fastboot-installer-for-windows and https://github.com/fawazahmed0/windows-unsigned-driver-installer.
