I'm using stock ROM (15.3.A.1.17) dude but found nothing
anyway good luck for fixing our devices.
I'm really disappointed with Sony Engineer for making shame on our devices
This really works? I opened /system/usr/idc directory but there is no file to be overwritten, with the ones in this Zip.

Hi all.
I've tried to fully deodex and zipalign the stock v30a rom using this tutorial but I get continuos (every 5 to 10 seconds) FC on LG_Keyboard after restarting the system, so I'm asking someone with better tools/knowledge to
Create a fully deodexed, zipaligned and rooted v30a stock rom.
Flashable zip format would be great, bin format I think would also be useful for many people.

Have you tried getting the library file of the keyboard and put it in the libraries folder of the system?
See, when you open the apk of the said keyboard, one of it's contents would be a folder called "lib"
The contents of the said folder would be a library file with an extension of .so
What you need to do, is to extract that one file from the apk and put it in the system's library folder. If I recall correctly, the path would be...
/system/lib

I find it strange that only that one app is giving me this problem.
Well, and I searched for the LG keyboard apk and I don't know which one it is!

somehow the LGIME.apk from Acura's latest rom (based on v28b) works.

One of Acura`s breakthroughs is that his latest roms come in zip format, so you can extract the apks without needing to flash the entire rom.

The only apps that gave me problems was the mentioned keyboard, and the camera that I could not optimize (compress).
The deodexed unoptimized version works ok, though.

i got deodexing and optimize works no problem at all, but when i copied it back, on boot i got security error morning call cannot verified
stuck, and had to reflash it.
if your Stock v30a deodexed, zipaligned and rooted worked do you mind sharing it here
i tried almost all custom ics roms, there is not a single one run without an issue except XBSA VR3D, but VR3D based on 30c and the camera doesn't capture with 3D button which i reallllyyyyy liked :laugh:

I recently got my E dual, its great but as most of u here , we don't accept less than perfection. so if we wanna mod our dev , we need the firmware to be odexed so here we are:
first of all disclaimer:

what is it:
its the stock Xperia E Dual JB 11.3.A.2.1 with the following :
- completely deodexed
- rooted
- busybox
- maltilang including Arabic and Persian.
- I didn't remove any app from the rom (bloatware) to let u do it ur self
why deodexed :
its easy to customize the ROM the way you want without odexes
how to install:
please make sure that u are on the 11.3.A.2.1 firmware,
1- download the zip and put it in the internal or external sd.
2- unlock ur boot loader and flash jjm34 kernel with CWM "the only way to have cwm for now"
3- reboot to recovery
4- format system & wipe every thing(factory reset)
5- flash the zip

download and copy the SystemUI.apk to sdcard
with app like ES file explorer copy it to system/app override the old one
restart and enjoy
or just flash the SystemUI.zip
working now on porting SMALL APPS and MAGNIFICATION GLASS maybe soon

nice successfully worked
when i try to deodex my XE SS ROM, there's only 2 .jar files lefted (won't deodexed by kitchen)
framework.jar and framework-ext.jar... it's gave errors
did you meet these errors while deodexing?

if u mean the Rom: I don't think its possible due to hardware differences
if the SystemUI u can upload yours and I may mod it

I tried ES file explorer, no message, no change
I tried flash with CWM the .zip : android say me at startup SystemUI.apk shutdown because error, and no change.
Maybe I have to wipe data ( I already wiped cache in CWM ).
Im a noob, come on Sony
EDIT : I just test wipe data/factory reset and wipe dalvik : same message : UIsysteme.apk has unfortunately stopped

Br,
For working GPS on any custom rom, follow following steps (Root access needed)
1. Download "gps.conf" file for your region from the below link
https://app.box.com/s/w57s1v1n3hie7l5lk28i
2. Replace the file with your old "gps.conf" in /system/etc/ (or you can also rename the old file & keep it if you need it)
3. Now change the permission to rw-r--r--
4. Reboot & Done
Try testing your device with google maps in device only mode (I'd suggest for first time try testing in open air)

rw-r--r-- permission equivalent to 0644 in hexa as some file browser shows that.
if you didn't find your country choose the nearest country to you "like what I did"

nope...just replaced the gps.conf and checked permissions then test to see result with GPS test...mine locked for 5 satellites at 7 seconds which was surprise :fingers-crossed:

Hey lph1117, as that gps.conf is not working for you, so I said to try that gps driver only for you.
As others are getting gps fixed by replacing the gps.conf they dont need that gps driver

Thanks for your help. I tried both but still cannot work.
This morning I switched to system 1(which is official 4.0.4), the GPS still not working, there may be something wrong with my device but not the CM rom or any things else.
Do we have to do this method every time we update the ROM ? i.e. I've updated SlimKat from build 4 to build 4.2..should I repeat this again?

3.GPS in stock rom works well - i wiped data/cache/DalvikCache and reflashed the MOTO offical 4.04 .sbf rom today for check, it worked perfect untill i wiped and restored Axxion again...

If you have the latest firmware 18.3.C.0.40 for your device installed, you can try it. If your phone is running a older version of firmware, install the
newest firmware first! Here is a link to the latest version: klick me

That is really bad! I don't know what is the issue. I have tested on my phone and everything worked.
But maybe i have the solution! Download this file: klick me
and flash the zip in CWM. This may fix the issue. Please report back if it's work!

Nothing bro, sorry very much. First error I get when I restart my cell It's a force close from Greenify, I don't know if that's relevant. I don't think so.
As I told you, I also have your deodexed ROM in my Xperia M2 (D2303)

I would like to share stock bootanimation extracted from stock roms. I extracted two versions, old suppose to be from android 5 and new is from latest firmware.
Installation process: rename to bootanimation.zip and move to folder called /system/media/
Enjoy stock animaton on custom roms!

You should find root folder and there is subfolder called system. Easiest way to do it is in twrp under advanced and pick file manager. But you have to mount system storage first.

No worries, you can also check out OnePlus 1 folder. There are two more stock animations.

You can, but it's the same as new OnePlus 2 with different aspect ratio.
