Hi guys, I'm reaching out to the Desire S community in hopes of finding someone with a Desire S that they would be willing to donate for development purposes. I was planning on updating my Carbon 4.3 rom to 4.4, but without the phone it made it too hard to do without spending lots of time. I also hope to port the new ViperDHD 3.0.0 update to the Desire S, so hopefully someone can spare their Desire S.

Hello everybody.
I have a non-rooted HTC Desire that I have upgraded, over-the-air, to Android 2.2.
I want to get Android 2.3 on this baby as well as the latest version of HTC Sense (the one where you can shuffle screens in leap view, that has a scrollable list of last used apps in the notification bar...).
I've read a while back that someone made a HTC Desire HD ROM for the HTC Desire but that many essential features weren't working. But at any rate, the HTC Desire HD has the new HTC Sense but not Gingerbread.
I've also never rooted my phone, I'm wondering if anyone can help.
if u can wait then wait for an official gingerbrd update..
else root ur phone and search the forum for a GB rom.. u will find lots for ur phone
hey guys i got a htc magic for a friend and i need to know what the best and fastest fully functional rom is for the htc magic. im currently running 2.2.1 but i personally think it is quite slow and the 45-50 second boot time is a bit bad.

Hi guys, I am new to both android and these forums and I recently purchased a HTC one s from T-Mobile. I think the HTC one s is a fantastic phone, but the only thing I really hate about it is the fact that it is running sense. Considering how small the community is for development of the HTC One E8, I know this might be difficult.
But I was wondering why there is no stock android ROM for the HTC E8.
When I say stock, I mean without Sense UI.
Also, can someone help me learn how to port M8 ROMs? Links to tutorials would be helpful!

I'm thinking of getting a used HTC Sensation, rooting it and upgrading to Android 6.0+ with Cyanogen. Has anyone done this?
No i don't tried it. The RAM is to little and slow for a good working Android 6 ROM i think. I use the Sensation until 2014 and i had use the ViperX Custom ROM. That is a Burner Custom ROM.
That sucks. I've got a Desire HD, which I'm only really replacing because Android 2 is insecure, and I'm really annoyed by the newer HTC phones' lack of "physical" buttons. :|
